"Second degree initiates"?

Those initiated to the second degree...?

Thought that was pretty clear.

If I'm not mistaken second degree initiates use reversed pentagrams.

That's exactly why they shouldn't have it, because everyone equates it with Satan when Wicca and Paganism has no belief in Satan.
Osa Osa chan says:

Only uneducated people think they're the same. They are different and now is the perfect time to educate people about it. Instead of seeing this as offencive, see it as a chance to teach people about the true meaning.
EDIT: woo, messed that quote up >3<

But my experience is that people do not care to think differently, and even more so how they feel on a religious symbol
I am glad to see you're offended, but Gaia's not going to fix it. Keep in mind that every church -- Catholic, Protestant, whatever -- will be "offended" by this item, and basically, and sorry to say this, those churches have more say than you Wiccans do. If Gaia doesn't care about them, they won't care about you either.
Oh.

And sidenote.

I'm pretty sure that Satanism in any of its forms counts as paganism.

So I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that the pentagram used in the item is offensive to pagans as a whole, considering it's the symbol of some of them.

And because it's Satanistic, i guess... xD

And I think all Christains and Catholics would be offended if a upside down Crucifix was a new item. So I think I have ever right to be upset by this.

Having an upside down Crucifix would be awesome... o.o

But anyways.

BE offended.
Gaia is supporting religious freedom. AKA the right to produce any given religious material and not have to be forced to have it removed.

People say I'm offencive all the time. But then they get to know me, and they say "wow. He's offencive. I LURVES HIM"

I'm offended by the cross on the back! And how it relates to Christianity! Does that mean they automatically have to take it off? No.

It's commonly associated with witch-hunting in Animes. (The cross and Pentagram)

So really. Put up or shut up. Really. neutral

error[dot]exe:
That is where you fail.
I'm non-denominal Satanist. 3nodding
Not related to Paganism in any way.

Know your role, cretin.

I wasn't aware Paganism or Wicca had 'levels' of achievement. And no, it wasn't clear. And no, I've never heard of only 'some' of them using reversed pentagrams.

I am a Wiccan and our symbol is that of a Pentacle, and the fact that the new Vampire Hunter item has an upside down and red Pentacle. Being a Pagan I know how many associate the Pentacle with the devil, and even more so when it is upside down. This greatly offends me because once again the Pentacle is being shown the wrong way and in alliance with a Vampire or devilish theme too it.

I would like to see Gaia fix this, the symbol should be placed right side up and done in gold or silver, or it should be removed comptely because it is offensive to Pagans to show the symbol in that way.

Here's your solution and the answer to being unoffended:
Look at it from where your avatar would look at it, it isn't inversed, it's actually facing upwards. I don't know how many peope I have to point it out to... But it isn't offensive at all if you actually study it.
Besides, it's not really a religious item anyways. Look at the designs around the star; this is a standard 5 point alchemist circle and those are the formulas.

Wicca, dear. Not paganism as a whole. Difference.
I edited it. I didn't believe Wicca had levels of achievement either.

Well they should, because I am sure they are not going to put out an upside down cruifix, or a swastica.

But it is upside down in the item screen, that offends me.

This is true of Gardenerian Wicca (what some call British Tradintional Witchcraft).

However, it's the American Wiccans, who have to put up with Protestant fundies, that are a wee bit sensitive on the pentagram thing.

Some paths do, but some do not.
