thats great! I also found it annoying how if you blocked someone, you were unable to see their posts, but they could still see yours and stalk you. Now this will help with that issue. Well, sides ya know. The casual sign out and stalk XD It would be cool if the block actually blocked their ip addresses that they normally use.

Why not take ignore completely off the site? What does it do to help you?

How would they be able to quote you if they can't see your posts?

That's a very efficient system. thanks guys! Never had the need to ignore yet but I heard some problems others had with the original system. This sounds perfect though. smile

What about users who ignore, remove from ignore list, and then ignore again?

I had a problem with a user who would be rude, ignore me, remove me from the list to be rude again, and then ignore me. I couldn't put him on my ignore list whenever I was on his.
Weirdly, a moderator also told me to stop using the ignore list as a tool for arguing, because somehow some tool told her I was the sculpture (Edit: ...what? I meant culprit), not him.

And, will there ever be a feature that allows me to block an entire IP? That same user reminded me of the annoyance of mule accounts. Once I'd gotten to ignore him, he made mules to continue harassing me

You can just type

if someone is using their mule(s) to evade your ignore list, you can report them for harassment. But you have to be absolutely sure it's the same person, otherwise you can end up falsely reporting someone.[/quote
