As an intermediate solution, I've been opening each inventory tab and page in a separate browser tab. It's far from perfect, but it's definitely faster.
Hmmm. I think I like to try that.

It's annoying to have a million tabs open at once though. DX

And whenever you save your avatar or buy a new item, you have to reload every tab so the items show in the right order.

Poor reviews are not acceptable.
I like to keep all my stuff organized so it's easy to find... to sell or equip etc etc. It's rather inconvenient that Gaia just takes your stuff out and puts it at the end of your inventory. Inconvenient... well extremely annoying actually. Not to mention that god help you if you're on dial up... because the different tabs take a ridiculously long time to load... which if people that have cable/dsl are complaining about, it really is that much worse on dial up.

Love to see your stats one day.
Anyway, I remember when they first added the load balancer. That was a load of hoot. Lots of crashes and s**t, but you know what? Things got better. Maybe I can quote some Dark Knight lines like "It's always darkest before the dawn ?"

Hmmm and when did movies become real life?
Since when did that become a credible rebuttal?

Well considering the OP compared this event to the batman movie I thought it was fitting. How is it not approprate for the contex?
I think you just missed the point of the message. She was just stating the source but the context remains applicable if not metaphorical.

Actully I've been here since pretty much gaia opened so I've suffered threw the same crap the OP has; and nothing has been as bad as this.

Don't really see the big deal about it.

*would take the sushi errors over how slow the inventories are* >_<; Seriously, I never remember them being as slow and clunky as they are now.

But that's just the inventories while the sushi errors were site wide. Not really a great comparison. I hated the rollbacks most. I lost a pink gift box and somehow my OMG events stopped for two years after the last major roll-back of 05. And someone mentioned load balancer. I didn't see the point back then but then it made things somewhat smoother later on. They also added in the content delivery networks surreptitiously and that caused problems with avatars with select members and we had to use proxies.

I never really had a problem with the rollbacks. o_o; And I think the reason why you haven't had many events is because the event-user ratio is spread so thin.

while i dont mind so much the time it takes to load all my items

i do mind that all my used stuff goes to the bottom

are they ever going to give the option of not having it do that?
because i would really like to be able to change my avatar without it doing that some time in the future (i hope)

Also, I'd like for the inventory organizer to work. I stopped trying to organize my stuff since it migrates wherever the hell it wants anyway.

Thank you!! I was looking specifically for a place to complain about this.

Nearly every day I used to spend a lot of time just trying on different outfits and seeing what would work and what wouldn't with my avatar. But because I have to load each page separately and it takes FOREVER to do it, I can't change my avatar much anymore. It takes so long to switch pages that it's just become a chore.. and without the option of playing dress-up with my avatar, there really isn't a lot of appeal to the site for me anymore. crying
