That was a nice survey. Very detailed >D
For the next event like this, I'd suggest making the "grand prize" of the event something not publicly known. But then...I kind of like secrets and surprises >D

I agree x100, if it's a surprise you can guess and guessing is fun ><

Lastly, soulbinding is bad. I understand why it was done this time (though I don't agree with taking away losing skins), but otherwise, very, very bad, and should only be a last resort.

Soulbinding has scared the s**t out of me since they first brought it out. Scares. The. s**t. Out. Of. Me. I too know why they did it, but you're right: they shouldn't get soulbinding happy which is my big fear. Everytime I see something soulboundnd it makes me more and more afraid. I also don't agree with the skin losing -points to first reply to Nominei-

Anyways, I don't want to be like I hate everything. The storyline and the PMs and the profiles were awesome, especially since the profiles came out before the event because it got people riled up for the event. The manga is great, too. But I want improvements. The click and wait is really boring, my mind went numb.

Don't go wasting your iiitems, lay all your junk on meee~ =D
I already said something along these lines in my survey answer, but I really, REALLY like how you can't miss in this event.

It pissed me off something fierce during the past few "battle royale" events, where you'd wait until your turn, miss way more than it seems was statistically possible, and then wait for another turn. That, coupled with low point gain/high point benchmarks for items made me want to shank someone.

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

Not that this should stop you from giving me something nice for my birthday on the 18th, mind you.

I HATED this event. The missions that required other items were tedious, and this entire event was boring to me. I only enjoyed one item out of all of them.
The follower thing was bullshit. We don't want events like the stupid Facebook apps.
And please - don't push Facebook into events. Please.

I much, MUCH prefer forum based events.

The call to serve is at once invisible and always present,
And for those who choose to answer the call, for their country, for their fellow man, and for themselves, it is the most powerful force on Earth.

But its useless, I'm useless against them... They are beating me with ease...

I did the survey, but I have to say I HATED this event too.

Facebook: Please keep it at just sharing and out of our events.
Achievements: You are not my 360.
The forums are filled with link spam.
Cash: Just no please.
Skins: Who can I slap for this stupid idea? Stop binding items.
Don't give the prize to every one just to snatch it up for the team that didn't win.
Don't use skins to make pit the community against each other. It isn't ******** fun.

I really liked the event. Though, the whole buying virtual followers thing and the Facebook was a bit ridiculous. Also, the storyline is just going deep into numerous subplots.

My suggestion: The next event should involve less Gaia cash and Facebook, and more focus on the main storyline.

I know the perfect way for gaia to improve the events, STAY OUT OF THEM!
The events are supposed to be played by gaians so why is gaia tampering with the scores? Let the event run it's course, even if it seems unfair.....life isn't fair either
and if you require proof that they are tampering with the scores look for yourself:
Cheating
I get adjusting scores after the scripters were found and banned but gaia has gone overboard, they should at least have the decency to STOP FREEZING THE SCORES the day before the evenet ends.......and yes i noticed SIN was frozen for about an hour (and then they had 100 added and are still frozen) allowing BOO to surpass them. Gaia apparently has no sense of sportsmanship, and if they chose to help BOO because they are the "good guys" it seems slightly ironic.........disregard morals to help those that supposedly have the highest morals (possibly at the risk of major profit loss due to angry gaians boycotting gaia for cheating)

I'm not evil....I just don't give a d*mn what your "god" thinks

Appreciate the survey! Thanks.
I think the 'comparing to other events' part of it could have been worded better, though.

The event does suck

they are going to rig it so B.O.O. wins which isn't fair for either side in this thing

if all of B.O.O. suddenly quit doing missions they would still win and if S.I.N. stopped we would still come up close behind in score only to lose because they based this on some Good Vs. Evil crap and as always the shiny light side will and must win or what example are they setting... blah blah blah etc. etc.

for the improper way this event has been handled we should all get to keep our skins because team rocket didn't go away after the first episode they appeared in did they? hell no.. did batman kill the bad guys he went after? (in before heath ledger joke) nope..

so when the event you have rigged is done evil just disappears good work gaia you have set a fine example that hard work doesn't pay off in the end regardless of who does what if everyone in the event suddenly stopped doing missions the scores would keep rising

why? because it is rigged that way and that is why S.I.N. jumps up 2 points ahead then B.O.O. jumps 100 points ahead no race is that close this is not some motor vehicle racing event with only 2 people in it there are thousands of gaians competing so there is no way the scores are that strict

Me and my friend both want to keep are skins even if the event over and we be happy

I loved the Zomg part, and the Trick and treat part, and the manga.

but I didn't really like demonbusters. It was too much item farming, and it really wasn't fun, just item farming. I liked the old style battling like the one of Halloween Hysteria. That was FUN, and no farming. Forum based events are simple, easy and fun too! I really hate having to farm, just clicking a button repeatedly. It's more tedious than fun, and a time waster. Makes you want to not even do it.

Facebook stuff was kinda annoying. I didn't mind the sponsor item though, since it was only one sponsor item, and it was kinda cute, although unusable. =D

People do have a point, the follower stuff was fun, but it also spams up the event forum. Maybe make a subforum for that next time? If you're going to do the follower thing.

Also, about the "cheating"... I love the SIN skin. It's unfair to cheat to take it away. If you're worried about the plotline, have SIN Take over temporarily, like, make a "dark reign of demons" with perhaps a second spinoff event, having little demon things appear in people's posts, (unless that's too much work) and then having BOO take over, or alternatively, just make SIN have a reign of terror (one announcement) maybe one or two sinthemed items apepar, leave it for a week or several and then get defeated by BOO anyway. If you weren't prepared, you could just do one really lame comic that shows one panel with her triumphing, and the Great Clam saying in the corner "I'll get you back from this horrible doom and hatred that has crept into your soul, my former friend."

Don't mess with it cuz of hte plotline! The skin, the skin!!!

The competition for two good items was kind of...
well, I think that instead of fighting, (because a lot of people, including me, want to enjoy both sides of the story) maybe a completely seperate voting would do better. An indirect way, like, two Gods/goddesses/leaders, and a "worship" score. Whoever gets the most worship points, that's the skin. Only one worship per person, the entire event.

Make it html next time. The flash lagged my computer, so I couldn't really enjoy seeing those weaponry, and it made it even worse: nothing would load properly.

seconded! =) Better a pleasant surprise, than half the gaian population feeling upset and the other half feeling relieved.

~ Focus on the gameplay experience as a motivational factor, not just good items.
e.g. The DDR style gameplay and music were fantastic during our Prom events, so much so I even wanted it to be added as a game to Gaia's collection. That in itself was fun, the items we're just a bonus.

seconded!
