Have OP's name under thread title when viewing thread.

I think having "by [name of thread creator]" in text about half the size of that used for the title, under the title of the thread, while viewing the thread, would be amazing. It's sometimes necessary to open a new tab for page1 of a thread to check again what the OP's name is to make sure you're not mistaking talking to them in third person. Or an alternative, have "OP" next to the person's username every time they post in a thread they have created, though this isn't as useful if they haven't posted on the page you're viewing, yet you still want to refer to them by username.

It would be nice in large threads. emotion_drool Usually the OP has a different colored name on other websites (or the OP is on the top of every page, which would be even better for those dice rolls), though I'm not sure the logistics of this from a developmental standpoint.
