I'm all for removing Current World Events from Hot Topics. It's an absolute shithole where everyone either talks about impending doom, 2012 (linked to impending doom) or about how America is utterly ********. You can tell that it's linked to ED by the fact that it's filled with utter garbage and makes you mourn what has become of homo sapiens when you visit it. It's already a subforum on two forums, so why is it still a Hot Topic? Eesh.

Really surprised they don't have a Back to School Hot Topic forum yet. Didn't they have one last year? Would make sense to have another one.

Will probably add a Glee: Season 3 Hot Topic forum. As much as I hate the show and would rather swallow stale vomit than watch it, I can't deny that it's a massive pop culture hit, so I wouldn't be surprised if they made one. Just..anything other than the current Hot Topics. Is it really that difficult to find new snippets of pop culture to make into Hot Topics? Come on, Gaia!

Internet Memes/Culture should be moved, probably to Chatterbox where all the completely inane and dumb s**t goes.

I'd rather there wasn't a 9/11 subforum. Not because of my beliefs that one tragedy should not dominate over all, but because I can see it ending REALLY badly. Like...REALLY badly. I'd rather not have a tragedy being mocked and spammed to hell.

IMO the *insert season* anime 20whatever hot topics won't go well because the hot topic resulted in abuse and spamming because of newbies not knowing about the A/M/C.
However there were some good threads IMO *searches for X Men and TWGOK II thread*

IMO, they should also take out the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hot topic. By now, I don't think the movie is even showing in theaters anymore, especially here in the US, and the hot topic's primary purpose had been to "discuss" the movie. Right now, the Deathly Hallows forum is filled with topics that would fit better in the main Harry Potter subforum located in Entertainment Discussion (some may argue that it's still up there for people who want to talk about HP because it's easy to access and doesn't require a bit of digging to find...but the regular HP subforum isn't that hard to find, especially since Twilight fans apparently love to post misplaced threads about Twilight in there, even when there's already a Twilight subforum for them to post in xP).

I know! I signed like two petition to move it to the Gaming forum as well as the anime. However I think that forum is mostly for the games but you are right it really should be ALL things Pokemon. It really needs to be moved.

Yup as pointed out Pokemon if not a year probably at least six months. As I think they have been up there since Black and White debut. It needs to really find a home somewhere else. Current events is looking really stale and isn't really about anything current. It's more like the ED/GD hybrid of crap. The whole thing just needs to be revamp or axed if they aren't going to use it anymore.
