Lionheart

Bringing this up again, just to show you how bad the Mini Shops are getting, and so people keep this in their minds.

There is also a petition, for those of you interested.

Mini Shops, instead of being filled with doll sprites and pixel premades, are now drowning in (some temp auctions and some established auction threads).
According to this nifty thread posted by Jak Bauer (admin lead) that helps you figure out where your thread should go, auction threads should go in the Auctions subforum. However, with the quantity of such threads, I think the Auctions regulars would complain like the Mini Shoppers are now, so you might as well create an Adoptables subforum.
For the adopts that aren't up for auction (such as adopts for x amount of gold or for trade), since they involve adoptables, they would fit very easily into the Adoptables subforum that can be created for the Adoptables auctions.

Hold your horses, moving all these preexisting threads is a huge process! You can't expect staff to commit time to it.
Gaia has slowly phased out user-run bank-type threads before. Gaia has created subforums exclusively for Pet item sales and exchanges, separate of the regular Gaia Exchange.
Basically, set up a subforum, send out announcements, set up stickies, tell people to simply copy&paste adopt threads to the new subforum (or, if they choose, ask a moderator to move it for them if they don't want to lose the pages) and let the old threads die.

More mods wouldn't hurt either. There are lots of custom avi art threads and spam that are left for sometimes days after being reported. Plus, with the influx of adoptable threads, we could use more mods to police it and keep it running smoothly.
Shout out to the current mods that've kept the Mini Shops running all this time!
