That's just something people on Gaia do, 5,000 gold is 5k. It's not stupid, it's just how they do it. Really, there is no reason to get upset about it.

I also find it really annoying since it's not really saving anything, but I'd prefer they keep it for the sake of uniformity and for ease when searching in the marketplace

Madden and everyone else does it the same way. Besides for here its like tradition since Gaia has been doing it since 2k3. Someone else made this same thread the last event. tbh, I think these threads are more of an eyesore as they give the SF the bad rep that it gets around here. emotion_facepalm
