Honestly, the new layout just doesn't seem too...Gaia-like, to me.

Too much white space - as mentioned dozens of times before...

The old design made me feel warm and fuzzy...

I realize that it took a lot of work, and I appreciate it, but - I really want the old layout back. XP

A lot of people on this site are older than me and should be more intelligent. It shouldn't take you so long to get used to it. Its a very good design, don't change it back.

No, were just different. I can see how many stupid people are scared of what they see as different. I for one don't like the new empty layout. There's no getting used to a personal optical dislike of a particular image. much of the layout fits into that.

I for one preferred the last layout, and where is the battle system you promised 3 years ago? How about that instead of a layout change every other month.

Gah. I'm not sure I like the size of everything. My PM list is so large, I have to lean back to look at it.
Also, everything is thrown out of place... I have to scramble around to look for what I need. It'll take some getting used to.
And I feel like I'm in an asylum with all of this whitespace sweatdrop ...

I've gotten used to the outlook, and love the freebies.. but there are still things that i feel can be improved...

in regards to navigation...
i feel that the top menu should work like the old one.. as in having a horizontal 'drop down menu' with direct links...

im currently having to click a couple of times to where i want to go.. for example, if i want to play slots, i have to click 'games' and den to 'slots'.. which is not really convenient..

compared to the old layout top navigation, all i have to do is hover over 'games' and click 'slots' ...

i know that there are direct links at the bottom.. but i think that the top navi should be also user-friendly...

in regards to forum threads...

clicked and unclicked links are of the same colour.. making me hard to know what are the threads i've or havent gone to.. although there is a symbol beside stating what are the new posts, what are not, etc.. it is hard for me to surf the main thread...

these are my two main concerns at the moment.. and i hope gaia can do something about it... im not asking gaia to change back to the old layout.. they have worked hard and i dont want to put their effort to a waste... im used to the look after some time... but i prefered it to be more user-friendly..

that is the aim of gaia's change.. and i feel that it is not quite up to standard yet...

If it's not going to happen then why do we have the feedback. this is meant to be here so that we can leave our veiws and hopefully as a whole have some measure of control over the way this site is laid out. If we don't then it makes us wonder why the hell we donated, I certainly am.

Are you serious? Well..now that you mention it, I've just noticed that. I didn't think Gaia would completely change like that and at least stick to the main reason why this site was created in the first place..

A border! That's what we need..couldn't quite put my finger on it razz .
I think a border would help keep things contained, so it doesn't feel like we're all just floating off into an abyss. The expanse of whiteness wouldn't seem so..expansive.

I'm not crazy about the layout either, but I'm willing to try it. It's not THAT hard to navigate, I've found everything I've needed to find thusfar with a minimum amount of searching.
Analogy time! When we switched from cable TV to Satellite a few months ago, it was a very alienating experience..."900 channels? How am I ever going to find what I want to watch?" I threw many a "GIMME BACK MY CABLE" hissy fits, but I wasn't paying the bills, so it wasn't going to happen. It took a few days, but I mastered the satellite controls, and with 900 friggin' channels to cruise, I can't imagine going back.
I just wish people would remember that when the LAST layout came out, everyone hated it just as much for many of the same reasons people hate this one.

Its due to all of you complaints theres too much white on the website/forum.
When complaining last time u made no specifacations on how you wanted it changed, sure you typed and all but as they say "pictures tell 1000 words"

Not once have you people made a visual example of how u wanted this site to look! Ideas that the programmers and designers of the site can see helps more than just 30 somethin post made about how the designers suck, how lanzer sucks and crap like that!
Nor did not any or most of you payed any bit of attention to updates posted in the announcement portion of the site.
