Gaia Mobile - minimum requirement

Hey Gaians!

We wish to make a brand new mobile app that can allow you to enjoy Gaia when you're on your phone or tablet.

Please let us know the 5 top features that you would like to see on the Gaia Mobile app.

We'll aim to pack more features, but I wish to know what are the most important. wink

I would like a Marketplace with an easy to use layout for mobile. 3nodding

Other features are less important to me, but next I would probably be interested in an Inventory where I could organize things a bit better than I can on the current website and of course then the ability to dress up my Avatar. I don't use the forums all that much, but I think they ought to be included in the app, as they are kind of the heart of Gaia. Not sure what to include to round out my Top 5 - maybe the gold shops as well?

(I loved ZOMG, but even if it comes back, it seems like it should be its own app as it would take up so much data - and having it as a separate app might bring in more users who have never been on Gaia before. Also, it sounds like any revival of ZOMG would be a long ways out while improving the mobile app is a more current project, so it wouldn't make sense to delay the mobile improvements due to waiting on ZOMG to get fixed to then include.)

I'd like an app that let's you easily browse the forums and see the WHOLE avatar of others instead of just a little square. O:

Pretty much gaia on a mobile browser without all the zooming in and zooming out required on chrome.

And being able to play Lake Kindred would be awesome too!

Here are the top five things I'd like to see in a Gaia mobile app:

1. Android compatibility (we don't all have iPhones!)

2. The ability to dress my avatar

3. The ability to post in forums

4. The ability to use the marketplace (buying, selling, and bidding)

5. The ability to play Gaian games (not just LK, but also things like pinball or wordbump or other games, once they get updated of course)

Forums that work properly, too often the coding options and smilies block what I am typing so I can't see.
