this doesn't shock me i know one time i accidentally clicked on a side ad next thing i knew i was getting a ton of messages with trojans and other things i don't even know, it seemed that no matter on how many spy were scans i did i never was able to get them away i ended up having to do a system restore

I am going to have to do that.I really don't want to but I have no choice.I have about 5 trojans

Yea, my moms friends infect the family computer every time they get on. I'm glad I've got a laptop otherwise I'd never be able to get on Gaia.

The only reason I'm not posting here much anymore is because I'm trying to quit SF. I'd like to thank you guys for keeping this thread alive.

On topicly, I also agree it was silly for a dev to post out in the open and not think of the consequences of that action. I wish they would simply speak about this issue. Fleep says they are trying to fix it by removing bad ads, and he cited sources about google serving malware on accident. Here's one big difference, google adsense, who corrects their problems, is not rated as dangerous BECAUSE they correct their problems. These providers are shady and dont care to correct the problems to begin with.. so although his argument was a nice (and horrendously off topic, which btw I am sure I will get nailed for in a couple months) show it really didn't amount to much.

There comes a time when you need to stop defending yourself unconditionally and recognize ok they have a point, or at least provide us with the information necessary to see your side. With the info I have available to me, the google argument is null and void and they were just passing over the issue while claiming I was 'villifying' Gaia. Nevertheless, I do need to stop posting in SF and I hope I can count on you all to keep this alive. I fear if I stay in SF I would get in too deep and get banned and that is not something I want to do. Anyone who wants to inquire further about SF related issues, I'd recommend to PM me.

Oh, and this is on topic since like 3/4th of it is directly related to the current discussion..
