Greetings and Salutations.
I want to start off by saying that I am really excited and happy with being able to pick up Gaia cards at my local speedway, which is located down the street from my place of residence. The "on-the-go" trend seems to fit my days as of late, which saves me a trip to Target that can consume a bit of a portion of my way. While I am pleased that Gaia is making their cash option much more accessible and convenient, I would like to, however, voice a complaint. I bought a Gaia Cash card today at my local speedway, which advertised an Avitar with a pet fox on the front of the $10 card and $25 card. I was excited and under the impression that I would receive a pet fox with the purchase of the speedway $10 Gaia Cash card, as opposed to the Target $10 Gaia Cash card which does not have a pet displayed with the Avitar on the front of the card. I would like to point out that both the Speedway $25 and $10 Gaia cash card have pictures of Morgan on the front of them which may help as a point of reference. When I walked through my door and into my computer room, I joyfully sat down at my computer, anxious to receive the pet fox advertised on the front of the card. Typing in my pin number in the designated Cash Redemption spot, I quickly clicked the "Redeem Pin" button only to find that I only received the Gaia cash (which I'm happy to have gotten), however I did not receive my pet fox as I was led to believe. I am rather disappointed with the advertisement put out by Gaia for the Speedway cards for their "on-the-go" Gaians. If Gaia can take the time to create two different cards with different art displaying an avitar without a pet (ie $10 Gaia Cash card sold at Target) and an avitar with the pet displayed on them (ie the $25 Gaia cash card sold at Target as well), then Gaia could take the time to do that same for the service station cards, which should be treated with the same courtesy when considering that 1. Their customers are more likely to rush in and out, thinking they are picking up one type of card and 2. Gaia is an online community which I has more than doubled in its growth over the past year that prizes itself on not only its community, but also the limited virtual items that can be purchased in numerous ways, as well as held onto for memorabilia. I would like to bring this issue to the minds of the advertisement/sales representatives, management and administrators the issue explained above. I would like to suggest that if the $10 cash cards are correct in their display, then I would like to know where my cute little pet is. However, if the cards are incorrect in their advertisement and display of the limited edition pet, then the cards which do not carry that special item be pulled from the shelves of Speedway (because in Louisville, KY we do not have 7-11 thus I am not sure if they have the same issue) and re shelved with the correct display, in fear that someone may not be quite as understanding as I in this matter makes a big issue out of the cash card advertisement and display. I am still pleased to have access to buying Gaia cash cards closer to my house, still, and will continue to collect items throughout Gaia ,and I feel that this is an issue to be investigated and thought upon, because I still want to enjoy coming home a fun filled Gaia. smile I thank you in advance for addressing and resolving this issue in advance. I wish you all at Gaia a wonderful and fun filled afternoon. Best Regards and Cheers, Kusanagi_Kira |
