Its... a pool of blood. And a body covered by a sheet. Not like we actually SEE anything. So no... there is no gore. Its a mystery. We have to imagine the fill-in stuff that we wont see.

Hey, murder isn't pretty, but then again I've read waaay too many Sherlock Holmes, watched too many CSI episodes (along with Poirot)

It's a mystery right now, but the way most mysteries work is that it is eventually solved through a series of logical deductions based on evidence present. Pool of blood would be considered evidence, and is commonly associated with trauma, be it defensive or inflicted. Though there are some poisons that probably would lead to a pool of blood, but whatev, I'm speculating far too much. I'm still hoping for some degree of gore, and if nobody else likes it, I really don't care. It's all in the Artist's creation to begin with. After all, this thread IS asking what the users would like to see in EIs, and I'm simply stating what I'd like to see.

I had also seen a looooooot of Sherlock Holmes, Poirot and Ms Marple in my day. Alfred Hitchcock also comes to mind. And an awful LOT of CSI these days (the past two years most of all what with all the reruns of NCIS - *suddenly hates Ducky*)
The fact that we DONT see much gore in most of these, the exception being the CSI and they show mild stuff, is what makes it more intriguing. Too much and it gets boring.
We know the victim under the sheet was stabbed to death. We dont know why.

Yah, I understand the suspense. I swear, I'm like, a naturally impatient person, so when I read medical mystery thrillers or watch mysteries on TV, it's ridiculously exciting for me. I can't watch with other people because I'm so excited about what's going to happen next; my favorite parts are how people actually die. >.> I'm morbid, I know, but it fascinates me, especially the limits of the human body.

But anyhow, I'm digressing, the case has already done its job and made me massively curious. I bought it on a whim instead of thinking about it because I really am just that intrigued about it. xd

I just hope it's not too light-hearted, like Scooby-doo. Murder is srs bsns, yo! cool

I really wonder if we're gonna get more of this type of artwork in EIRs or if we'll get comic strips. 8D

I loved how she did the Nartian comic strips, and I hope she does something like that again, provided she has breathing space in her life. I don't want her to feel obligated to keep up something like that if it detracts from her pixel work.

Dun' worry about Pietro. For some reason, I actually expect alot of people will like this EI in the end.
Mainly I say this is because the EI (despite our first evo) is prolly gonna be clothing oriented, or atleast have one piece of clothing per pose. I'm really excited on getting the thief's apparel. The pintriped shirt reminds me of one I have myself. whee

I've been informed that Pietro might not evolve today, since it only has a 7.8% chance of evolving. We might have to wait till next week fellas.
Also, Kottan will probably be delayed due to it's artist being away.

Only things that'll be evolving seem to be Classilke, DNA vials, and Masquerade..

I keep thinking Ellery Queen. Its the same sort of art I had seen in them small magazines. One of my sisters used to read them - a lot!

Even with a whip it's hard to tell if she will be able to fill the quota. More if she can't really know what users will expect from it.
