That would be pretty awesome! Hopefully items keep evolving as quickly as they have been, like with the Yama. Thank the gods there was no cracked egg pose.

That way, they could burn through a different fairy tale every evolution.

That would be really cool. With some, you might be able to cover more than one. I'm not sure what all you could do with Sleeping Beauty (unless they could give us a Malificent pose, then I would squee like a little girl!).

-Name: Ummm....i don't know yet sweatdrop but the creature is called a "Coeurl"; to connect it to Byakko, maybe we can name the item "West's Whisker" (since Byakko, aka WhiteTiger, is the god-creature of the west in Chinese mythology.)

Possible items: (in no particular order as of now....i need more ideas...)
1. The EI can start off as a technicolor, feather-like item (see the whisker on the Couerl? it kinda looks more like a feather than the usual whisker). It would be either handheld or some sort of hairpin.
2. Little kitty playing with the feather, which happens to be it's tail...(I'll try to doodle up something for this one....). The kitten shall be anything BUT white.
Rationale: according to wikipedia: "when a tiger reaches 500 years old, it's tail turns white". So it's only natural that the white tiger appears only when the evo is nearing its conclusion.
3. Claw-like weapon, more or less like the picture below.
According to my source (see link below): "The male tiger was, among other things, the god of war..." Thus the need for weapons, armor, and the like.
4. Virtuous Emperor's Robes: think Kuja from FF9 (thanks to Ung for the link below!! heart ). Maybe i'll make an edit....someday... sweatdrop
Rationale: according to wikipedia: "that a white tiger would only appear when the emperor ruled with absolute virtue." I'm thinking this has to be one of the latter evos. As separate pieces, perhaps?
5. White jade accessory (i'm not quite sure what kind of accessory).
According to the same source: "White jade was used when the Tiger god of the West was worshipped; it is known as 'tiger jade;' a tiger was depicted on the jade symbol..."
6. "You are" pose.

Meh, anyway...

-Name: Enchanted Book: Glass Rose Edition
-Number of Generations: At least as many as the original enchanted book.
-Detailed Description or Pictures of poses per evolution: A tale of a lonely beast tamed by a tender heart. Words shift and dance as a new tale is brought to life.

Now, I'm not one to detail out each and every evolution, because I'm lazy and that takes some of the fun out of it IF it was created, but some things that could be included...
1. The rose under the glass dome, a traditional image for anyone familiar with the story. It could be a hand held pose, on the ground, or there could be a pose with a little table and have it next to the avi. These types of poses aren't always popular, but it has to be there to tell the story properly. There can be a full rose and then poses later on with it wilting.
2. The living objects! A candelabra, clock, feather duster, tea set, etc. Maybe there could be some costume poses where the avi is dressed up like these objects. (Giant teapot suit anyone? >D)
3. With the popularity of well done backgrounds, a ballroom scene *_* Some sort of quaint village scene would be nice as well.
4. The beast needs to make an appearance, and this could be entirely fun for an artist because they could have artistic freedom with how they want the beast to look. Would he be more feral than the Disney version or more refined? Either way, he could be a date pose as well as an outfit, because we all know men are just beasts deep down, right? wink <3
5. Outfits! Beauty and the Beast has the opportunity for more rich ballroom gowns and princely/regal attire, and as we've seen from the enchanted book, those types of items are adored.
6. Of course a happily ever after with the beast becoming a prince, most likely as a date pose, but I think a happily ever after requires lots of shiny effects... like a shimmering layer to go over the avatar box. Time to see everything through our disney goggles, kids!

"Original"? not really....i took them off of final fantasy...but then again, the chimera is a Greek monster... sweatdrop

And i was thinking of an EI to complement the PicolitRosso phoenix and the FallenWish Dragon, so i thought of a WhiteTiger-like EI (thus, the Coeurl). Then of course we should get ourselves a BigTurtle, and then Gaia's Four Eastern Gods will be complete!

Sorry I will chalk it up to it being late and me extremely tired. I think your tiger idea is good but perhaps combine your idea of the four gods into one item and give us a little bit clearer vision of what you would want in an item like that..

For the chimera you need to stick with the greek mythology of the creature and stay away from what FF has shown us. No intertwining. Unless you want it to be considered an Original item.

Mythology and Original have to be seperate, and although FF takes a lot of creatures from Mythology, the Coeurels or whatever, are original, I believe. So maybe it isn't YOUR original idea, but it's someone else's.

Actually, i seem to have more ideas for the Tiger-Coeurl combo....i'll probably stick with that and editing my post from time to time...
As for the Chimera, i just thought it'd make a great "you are" pose. Otherwise, i don't really have anything for it.... sweatdrop

Its alright Ciocco. Could you edit your post above to take out the chimera then. Also you need to decide if you are making a white tiger based EI or if you are making an EI based on the mythology of Byakko, the guardian of the West.

I love FF. But I would prefer cloth accesories about them (Kuja Cloth FTW!) but It can't be possibly by any them of an EI.

And by the color of Gimpi...It's not something too far away, just an option of color. It's like saying that Kelpie is getting away from its theme because it has the SAME posse with different colors =/ And the Gimpi is both Grey and White, so I don't think I'm asking TOO much for it.

Its alright, I looked on wikipedia and there is a little bit of fractional information about it. The one sight you linked to mentioned him as a kirin which only confused me. But you could also tie it into autumn/fall as it is the season it is supposed to represent.
