Really, I'm not pessimistic as I am...not excited by shiny things. I know how to pixelate items, so making something shiny doesn't "wow" or outstand me as much as it would as everyone else.

Kind of like knowing how a magic trick works. It takes all the magic out of it. Making an item isn't special, it's about 3 hours of simple photoshop for a coat. I lost my pair of Rose colored glasses. I'm out of the rabbit hole. I've left the matrix. uhhhh...crap ran out of metaphors.

I don't know, I just don't see what's so special. About Pepper-Tea, about reapersun, about ethe, about superphi.

They're just artists. And I've yet to see any Mona Lisa from any of them. e______e






And I'm pretty sure what Pepper-Tea's doing.

She was originally hired as a flash animator after all. And that second expansion has got to be in the works at this point.

If she hasn't made RIGs before, then I guess she'll start to make them.

Ya, it sucks that because of this news of Pepper-Tea moving on to other responsibilities will skyrocket the prices on the items that she's done in the marketplace, as well as the fact that her items will be harder to trade for. But, I'm sure I'll get them someday.

Do you know how advanced a species has to be just have the ability to make a drawing? Let alone put the emotion and work into it to make things in the art we see today? It's one thing to know how the magic trick works, but you can still be asstounded by what's displayed, how they present it, etc. A new spin even! The EIs are a totally new spin on items I've never seen before on another site.

As was said, it was PRISM. Seems to be that she pixels quite close enough, so I'm sure She will be the new hit.

And Suitor...I think that more than the pixel technique (Because in that case o_8 and L0cke beat some asses) it's the concept they work and how they reflex them. It's not hard to pixel a scarf, but there is tons of scarf to be made. Picking one or making one to do is what made them popular. Good choices.

Those that are included are the Admiral set, Genie set, Milady set, and I could be mistaken, but I believe a few of the oriental stuff in GI also came from her.

I also hear rumors that she does MCs as well.

:edit: The reason why I personally like pepper-tea so well is because she's a pixeling entrepreneur. She takes something that hasn't been in the spotlight in a good long while, if ever, and then glorifies it either by copying her inspiration's complex reference art, or making something of it all on her own. She does her homework, making sure every piece in her item will go well together. Not only in style, but also relative in it's history. She pays attention to alot of detail, and is willing to try alot of new things. Majority of the time, she's successful in making the item she intendedly wanted to. And has a massive fanbase to back her up. In every way, I'd say she's a renaissance-woman.

Lets get off the subject of criticizing pepper about how you don't see why everyone likes her items because I think thats pretty rude, especially the "Monalisa" comment because you see the artist not only do pixel work but they also do actual big masterpiece artwork which takes waaay longer than your avatar edits which if I might add are rather easy since you just work off a base.

Now if you're a true "Magician" you'd keep the magic to yourself and not put it out there to everyone. I mean even I sometimes don't go "wow" when I see the items because just as yourself i've done it and know how it works. but to me it sounds as though you're a tad...jealous.
