I would prefer of gore stayed in a gore item and not be placed in an item that isnt right for it. It annoys me that people expect gore to come out of everything. Why not just wait for a gore item or ask for one instead of hope it gets thrown in places that it doesnt fit.

Slicky saw gore on the first pose, and suspected we might see more thus wants more.

Its... a pool of blood. And a body covered by a sheet. Not like we actually SEE anything. So no... there is no gore. Its a mystery. We have to imagine the fill-in stuff that we wont see.

And I know it was because of the egg fiasco, I still don't like Dev's having to hide themselves now because the users can't stop making personal attacks. You guys should not have to do that. Dev's are also users and should be treated as fellow human beings.

It's just sad that they are not.

I mean, I can agree. Making a personal attack on a dev (in my opinion) is the same as attacking another, regular user. It should be treated as harassment or flaming and users should be warned for it. Why aren't they?

I think if more warnings were handed out to users who flame/harass artists or any staff member, no one would have to hide.

You're right, Ungo. I've seen it happen quite alot lately.
That is, an artist getting alot more praise for their item, when they themselves need to hear what the majority is thinking about the item itself and not about the artist.

They're a breath of fresh air from the bulky items, backdrops and huge companion poses that the item has had.

Actually I included the pets with the accessories, or I intended to, since they both do about the same thing, and that's just add alittle to the avatar. Not making it whole. I'm really concerned on why we're not getting any clothes, and why the Reve's hat doesn't match any other clothes from the Reve.

Lately the fantasy themed items on Gaia have been boring me..
So, I tried making a casual themed avatar the other day and it didn't quite go through because everything is so plain with no detail.
(No offense to artists.. They don't look bad. I just think we're lacking in the casual clothes department. emo I mean I filtered Pink/Purple, Tops in tektek the other day and wow.. Not much there compared to White/Black categories.)

Edit: I think I'm gonna make some Gaia edits and submit an Original EI to the thread. I'm feeling creative~

Hey, murder isn't pretty, but then again I've read waaay too many Sherlock Holmes, watched too many CSI episodes (along with Poirot)

It's a mystery right now, but the way most mysteries work is that it is eventually solved through a series of logical deductions based on evidence present. Pool of blood would be considered evidence, and is commonly associated with trauma, be it defensive or inflicted. Though there are some poisons that probably would lead to a pool of blood, but whatev, I'm speculating far too much. I'm still hoping for some degree of gore, and if nobody else likes it, I really don't care. It's all in the Artist's creation to begin with. After all, this thread IS asking what the users would like to see in EIs, and I'm simply stating what I'd like to see.

I fully understand. I think what you really want is something from the Spanish Inquisition. blaugh

I had also seen a looooooot of Sherlock Holmes, Poirot and Ms Marple in my day. Alfred Hitchcock also comes to mind. And an awful LOT of CSI these days (the past two years most of all what with all the reruns of NCIS - *suddenly hates Ducky*)
The fact that we DONT see much gore in most of these, the exception being the CSI and they show mild stuff, is what makes it more intriguing. Too much and it gets boring.
We know the victim under the sheet was stabbed to death. We dont know why.
