Blame the event. The event always takes most of the artist's attention out of everything.

But still...I mean, God, it's not like Halloween snuck up to them out of nowhere. They know it's coming, they can plan way ahead.

And I like the pendant, like...a lot. Is it following the zodiac list?

Yes.
Many predicted taurus last time it evolved when they saw it was aries. Next is Gemini.

And with the change in the color theme, I'm wondering if they are not only following the zodiac, but have included birth stones into the EI's theme as well? OuO <3

Oh snap, I didn't even notice that. Huh. That gives more weight to the thought that the first pose was Pisces... only not exactly, as it's March that's aquamarine. (Pisces itself is amethyst.)

And yes, the Pendant is an aquamarine, the Dumuzi staff had a diamond, and there's emeralds on the cord of the Taurus hat. If next evo we get a pearl or purple gem/clothes, it's proof of the theme.

@ Mindset: So the acclaimed Astrology sign pendant could also match up the color schemes of where each sign is under a different month and gains that birthstone's color as well?

In example: My sign is Leo and Leo's are born in between July 22 to August 23. So the possible color scheme of a "Leo" stage would be Ruby, Peridot and Sardonyx (in other words: Lime green, Dark red and Onyx black.)

I hope to gawd I get some manly warrior armor/lion pelt helmet with cape (like the one I suggest for the Nightmare : D ) once Leo comes around as a stage >w<

Well, the zodiacal birthstones don't match the monthly birthstones at all, nor the way the Pendant has been going. So it's not like Leo = Ruby, but rather that July = Ruby.

The way it seems to be matching up so far
1st stage: (possibly Pisces) = March = Aquamarine
2nd stage: Aries = April = Diamond
3rd stage: Taurus = May = Emerald

If next evo, we get Gemini symbolism and June's pearl or alexandrite (purple or pearl-colored clothing and/or a pearl or purple gem), we've got the trick of this EI.

As for Leo, if it follows the pattern, it'll be teamed with August's gemstone(s). Sardonyx is banded dark red, btw, which would go well with lion symbolism. (Peridot's pale green less so.)

Well we only got one this week. Of course with all the Halloween hoopla I guess I really can't blame them. My first impression, I wish it had more poses attached to it but I like it.

This is true, but everytime I look back, I keep feeling the story isn't complete. Maybe it's the lack of artwork, or maybe not. It just feels so climactic right now to end, BAM!, just like that. I mean, we just met the true antagonist, and then only 1 and a half evos later, we're at an end to the story? And did everyone forget the toys of foreshadowing? Warrior Bird Armor, to Elegant Kimono Doll? The doll still has yet to play her part as well.

If that was the case, am I the only person who feels the EI seemed unfairly rushed? That's why I'm hoping that Gaia is listening, and the EI does have 2 more evos. That is, unless pepper-tea intended otherwise, and this is the true end. 3nodding

And, I can't wait till pepper delivers our next EI! whee

I guess my thought is... who says the doll had any role to play at all? Maybe it was just that... a doll that the mademoiselle created. I don't think it's necessary for every element to play a part in a story. :3 Some things are just that. Things. whee
