Well, i'm going on the lines of somthing like this:
I've noticed people wanting certain costumes for certain events and such, so i thought of an idea like an event store.
How it works:
Well, basically this store is idle most of the time. On the map , like how the one building in barton has a music note on it, this building has a calander on it. With little X's marked in random spots.
When you enter the store there will be a small calander icon lying on the counter top. Like in logan's store, he has a checklist where you click and get to see your stats and top fishers.
Click the calander, and its blown up to fit the store screen. It has the different months all over it, and you click the month your in. If that month has an X somewhere in it, that means the store is due to open in that month. AND It also means that there is an event on that day. That's because it only opens on events.
At regulare events you do a certain task to get the event items. But here's where it gets a little challenging. When the store opens up for that event, you must do the task that the event asks. Let us use easter for an example.
You must collect 8 eggs.
Give the eggs to the easter bunny.
The easter bunny gives you a basket.
To get an item from the event store:
Each event item in the store has a number on it.
The number is how many silver pieces you need to get it.
Then, the lady/man that works there will tell you how many silver pieces one egg is. Thats because this store clerk likes to collect perishable event items, because he/she has a special device that keeps them imperisable, but he/she wont give it to you, so instead gives you silver pieces instead.
((kinda like how rufus wont tell the store discount?))
Lets just give an example:
The red patched up witches hat (halloween) costs 27 silver pieces.
One halloween candy=3 silver pieces.
Meaning for this witches hat you need 9 pieces of candy.
Meaning you can choose wether to give your event perishables to the event npc, (easter bunny, halloween jack, or like the chrismas event were you got a present from a normal npc)
OR give it to the event store clerk, and get a special event item that only comes at that store at that time of the year. ((there are like, 7 event items for each holiday))
FAQ:
Will these event items be rereleased?What if we don't get them in time!!!
Let's say its halloween. Those 7 event items have finally been realeased in the store eek You want all of them. Don't worry! These will be comming back next year. but these are specifically for halloween, easter items wont been handed out during halloween.
Thats stupid. why would they be re-released?
Thats because its a store whee You don't see Ian changing his items every year never to return, do you? And besides, think about it. You want to get those items that the normal event npc gives out too, dont you? and those are only limited for that year only. And to get all the items, in the store and from the event npc would require serious work. It's more fair this way. 3nodding
