I think you should avoid using real pictures on the homepage. And vary the colors of the avis a bit more.

The girl doesn't look like homepage frontpage material.
Honestly, she isn't that attractive..and she looks like she's about to kill us all. Gaia's an amazing place, she should look really happy. And the background's just..no. :/
Also, all of the avatars, save for the third one are just..homely. >.>;

I think that this expresses the idea of Gaiaonline the best, but it's probably not going to win because our society is so nitpicky and focused on "beauty".

i like it. And to be brutally honest,i dont know what mirror my fellow Gaians are looking in here,but she looks fine to me. She looks normal do you want some super hot, unnatainable chick representing Gaia? though her photo is sort of over-shadowing the site aspects.

It's okay.... not my favorite, but I like it. I could use more information on the fact that there's more to Gaia than just the avatars. Something about the forums would be nice, or even the games...

I really don't like the idea of placing a real person on the front page. Also, the environment the person is in makes it seem like Gaia is only for highschoolers and lower.

p.s. despite what many others are saying about her looks. i will say she is quite a lovely girl and i think that everyone who says otherwise is just jealous mrgreen

I'm sorry, I can't get past how mean and demented this model looks to notice anything else on this page.
If you could get her to smile, look more friendly, I might be able to judge this. >w<
