This one is pretty sweet. The art is really good and catches your eye, although I may just be a sucker for underwater themes. ^_^'

I have to agree that the people who are on counter is tacky. Just for this design though. Maybe make it fit the theme and add one or two more links.

Also, add a bit more info to really get someone to know what gaia is. Each of these themes seem to be good eye catchers for different aspects of the site (such as the one with the doodle beinc good for the art section) . Perhaps that can also be taken into consideration.

I agree! It's focused on a fairly old monthly item, at that! The text is good, but the imagery is misleading. Gaia isn't nearly so fantastical.

I like this one the best, the art idea is great and whimsical.

However, I think the counter needs to change. It really obstructs the design, perhaps make it just white numbers so it matches the text? The red/gradient design looks really out of place, I know you guys can come up with something better than that.

Overall, I like this design a lot better than the current one and I love how it's anti- "Mini-you". People want to play gaia to escape real life so this is much more pleasing. ^^
