I still don't like the 'mini you' idea because that's not at all how people make avatars, but the page looks colourful and nice, not too cluttered. It'd be much better if the 'express yourself' text was used.
(And the lower part of the page is still boring! XD)

Well, what bothers me is the fact that the pictures, of the girl and guy and the </3....have nothing to do with anything? Are you trying to advertise some kind of "find a new boyfriend here!" slogan? I don't think those are the most appropriate images for the front of the Gaian website.

Also, the avatars look sort of....bad? Not exactly prime examples of what can be created here.How about something slightly more eye catching?

Gaia isn't a dating website, even though people attempt to use it as one. Don't fuel THAT flame, PLEASE.

Mostly because it reminds me of the GD.
But, I agree. The avatars could be better looking.
