This is definitely my favorite of them all. You were able to use the real life people, but not in a way that completely overpowered the avatars themselves. The reason why I don't like the 'screamer girl' or the other pink clothed one is that well, pictures of actual people just don't have a place on 'my' gaia. The smaller pictures of the people don't take over the entire page, and shares the space equally with the avatars. You're also therefore able to add in more information about the site itself, the forums, arena and profiles. I'm guessing these are the most used features? I would also suggest maybe making the 'online now' feature small enough to fit under the 'You got x gold' icon. You could even have it appear on every page or just certain forum ones, or something. Anyways, this is definitely my favorite of your new designs. #5 would have to be my second fave. 3nodding

It pretty cool. personally i think this one might make it, only because it shows a tad more what there is to gaia (like the ava riding the cat) but other avatars for sure showing a few other cool things wouldn't hurt =3

Meh, I know my complaint is cliché, but this looks like Gaia's trying to be a Myspace 2.0. While it's supposed to feature avatars, all it's really doing for me is featuring people posting pics of themselves on here; I don't see the Gaia aspect, really.

I agree, giving a general of what the arenas are would be better. I also like this one because it shows some of the diversity of what you can do with the avatar you make!
