It's pretty good. But to be completely honest, I like our current one better.

It's very cute, but it's too focused on the contests and arenas. I think something that involves a variety of the site, some of the things it has on here, instead of people thinking it's just for art.

I like the top part. Maybe if you could make that main piece of artwork look it's been crumpled up, it would look more like someone just drew it. You know, how in Microsoft Word, you can have that "paper bag" background that looks like a crumply brown lunch bag? Have that cute drawing look like it's just been drawn on paper like that.

I think I like this the best out of all of them, mostly for the tone of it.

I love the bright blue - it reminds me of the older Gaia layouts, which is nice. Overall it's not bland and slick, and I actually enjoy looking at it.

I also like that you've included the featured profile and (what I'm assuming is) an avatar arena winner. The prominent mention of the forums is nice, too.

Overall, do think it puts a little too much focus on the art aspect of Gaia. Something explaining more of what Gaia actually is and the variety of things there are to do might be better, but I would keep the color (the font and the watercolor-ish thing going on on the left are fine, too). You probably can't cram all of this in there, but it seems like there should be a few more avatars (maybe with the blurb from the "Be the Real You" layout), and some kind of mention of games, towns, events, etc.

But yeah, whatever you do, please keep artwork in there somewhere. The cartoon in this one adds a playful quality that's gotten lost in some of the recent slickness. Even if you don't keep that drawing, you could use an image of the NPCs or something to similar effect. And please change the counter. It looks like a hit counter from 1997 xp

it's interesting... though that looks like the login page. before you actually login.. It's a little confusing as to what type of page it is and where it would be because the person is online. I do like the fact that you do have the amount of people on Gaia so large.

I think they all look ok but that counter is hideous. Hopefully they'll make it fit nicer on the page.
