I can see why you have different types and skill levels shown here...but I think the image in the front should be more than just a sketch. Lots of Gaians do some pretty spectacular finished pieces.
Also, a more completed picture would be more eye-catching to potential new users.

I love it, I really have no complaints about this one aside from fact that the drawing thats most prominent should be more Gaia related (but if you leave it as is, I'd still be fine with it)

It looks okay, but the text kinda throws it off since they're not in the same "group".

While this one is very cute, overall it's just okay for me. I feel like the front page should probably have a little more in terms of expressing what Gaia is all about, other than one aspect of it (in this case, the art arena). If I were to come across this not knowing anything about Gaia, I don't think that this page would invite me to look more into it.
