Why wouldn't I want the most Relevant item when I'm searching for "Red Paper Crown"? I still don't understand why relevancy isn't the default search option to begin with... -_-'

How about you make it so we can search for all our wishlist items? I for one, only use a wishlist to keep track of what items I'd like to buy. It's a pain to have to go back and forth between pages.

I wish we could put names in quotes to get exact matches. i got a Prisoner's Top in a box and when I searched for it to see how much they were going for I had to sift through tons of other tops to find it -- it was just a pain sweatdrop

Relevency is definitely WAY more useful than the amount of items up for sale.

It's about time we all get out

This is kind of outside the scope of the question, but would it be possible to compact the "All Listings" page so all items of one type have only one listing instead 23098589279233? sweatdrop Like when you search "collectible" (not all of which are tagged, btw), all the collectibles show up neatly ordered with one listing and you follow the listing to get all the listings for that item. This would make the "All Listings" page soooooooooo much easier to use. heart

For the question at hand: Being able to choose would be great, but if it's an either/or proposition, relevancy ftw.

The keyword search itself could be better, I searched "tickets" and it came up with nothing...it HAD to be "ticket" <_<

There should also be the option to sort by price per unit since that's what I personally am looking for the most...If there is a way to actually do then just ignore me XD

Give us the option to select what we would prefer. Failing that; relevancy is more important than how many are listed on the market.

And while you're at it;

1. Fix the search feature to be keyword and keyword, rather than the current keyword or keyword. If I am looking for "kiki kitty plushie" and I type in kiki kitty plushie I get results that have kiki, kitty, or plushie in them. The more keywords I put in the fewer results I should get, not more.

2. Re-instate the ability when item-browsing to weed items that cost less than or more than a certain amount. If I want to know what high-end items will be ending soon, I have to sort by end-time and then wade through a thousand items worth 1-100g. What if I only want to know what items over 100,000g but under 1,000,000g are ending soon? I can't.

3. What the poster above me stated - if an item can be sold in bulk, permit the option to sort by unit price.

4. Add results for keyword searches (you can do this). Right now if I put in "ninja" I get ninja themed items (including the chyaku scarf; which does not have "ninja" in its name). Make it so "plushy," "plushie," "plushies," and "plush" all return gaia's plushies and "ticket" and "tickets" return tickets, etc.



Seriously, when you guys Beta'd this thing did you actually invite anyone who honest to goodness vends? These are all issues that should have been found and fixed ages ago, during the Beta.

Sort by relevancy, please. And I also agree that it would be really nice to have an option to list by price per unit.

I think it's only logical to sort by relevancy. When I'm searching for something it's rare that I hope to find the most irrelevant items.

What I miss about the old marketplace was the ability to sort by "expiring soonest" much like on eBay (which is my default setting). Perhaps without even searching! Just clicking on view items and having the option to view by ending soonest would make my experience so much better. I like jumping in towards the end and winning. ^_^ I know the marketplace changed the prevent that by adding another minute onto the end, but still.
