First off, thanks peeps for resurrecting an at least 2 month old thread.
2nd, the issue is not the NPCs themselves generally... its the OPs constant thing of trying to twist and manipulate any and all their suggestions into ways to stuff more of their Hatsya obsession into stuff. Seriously... no matter what the initial suggestion is about, it alway comes back around to 'Give me more Hatsya'.
Just saying.
why the heck is it bothering you? If other people can ask for more items and more appearances of their favorite characters, and actually get their wish, then why can't I? So what if all of my suggestions are based around Hatsya and Saiph? How is that hurting anyone? In fact, that just proves how much I like and support these characters who need more spotlight, and how badly we need their items! And you know what? if you don't like my suggesting such things, in Site feedback- a forum that's meant for suggestions, then I suggest you make an effort to stay out of my threads, if that's all you're going to do is nag me about expressing my feelings and desire to have more of these characters and their items. You're not contributing a damn thing other than nitpicking on what I like and trying to come off making my opinions and suggestions look like they aren't valuable, due to my being "obsessed". I'm not going to apologize for being passionate about something, and certainly won't stop requesting it ,and if you have a problem with that, then maybe you need to evaluate yourself, instead of evaluating me.
On the flip side, why is it bothering you so much that a forum made for feedback (which means all users are welcome to post in all threads, whether or not they agree with the feedback) that someone disagrees with you?
As that person noted, people are less than pleased with how you go about things, not about the suggestion in question. Personally, I don't care either way about the little star babies at a base level. Seeing more of them wouldn't hurt, not seeing them ever again wouldn't hurt either. What is likely happening is that people who frequent this forum see "entirely too much" of you. They care about the site, seek information for it, etc. This means that they read this forum regularly, read Ask the Admin regularly, etc. I've seen you every week in AtA for at least the past month, asking the same question. You've received the same answer every time: "There are no plans but I can pass it along". Then the next week you ask the question again as if in disbelief that it not only hasn't been done yet, but in a tone that acts as if you've never received an answer. Quite simply, people are tired of you putting it all over the place over and over and acting like it is the end of the world that two of the many obscure and defunct NPCs aren't getting an entire RIG devoted to them, or taking over a shop for less explicable reasons than the current ones sitting there, etc.
It's fine to be passionate. I'm passionate about things, annoyingly so at times. But you have to know how to approach it, or people are just going to have the reaction of "Augh, MillKitten. Here we go with the hatsya and saiph questions, again. Didn't she just get an answer last week, and the week before, and the week before that?" Keep on an SF thread if it means that much to you, but forcing yourself in people's faces will just get them to dislike you, and by extension, your idea.

All that said, again, I don't really care either way. Frankly, I see no point to force more NPCs into things that don't need it. We've seen it with Diedrich time and time again, and it annoys people. It also tends to annoy some when we keep getting storyline distractions when there is still a main story arc that hasn't been touched in months. It also would make no sense to just toss out NPCs from a given shop (in this case, the cash shop) just based on one very insistent user's request to highlight NPCs that are largely unimportant in the grand scheme of things. I don't see a problem with them getting included as one of the levels, guides, whatever the NPCs do in RIGs nowadays once in awhile, but I certainly don't see them as important or useful enough to need to be on the grand stage. We all have our favorite NPCs, but that doesn't mean that each and every one of those need to be one of the "main" ones just because we like them best.
