I think it would be cool if we could choose from both standard hairstyles and colors, and we could get custom hair, like the Lolita bangs and the Curls back and choose custom colors.
I know people would demand rainbow, so that setting could be available for extra gold.

That would be pretty nice for users to have, since it would basically let you create custom hairstyles, but it'd be a huge pain in the d**k for whoever had to actually implement having mix and match backs and fronts of hairstyles.

But y'know what I want?

A choice of eyebrows separate from the hair. Because there are quite a few hairstyles I've been tempted to try out, except for the either ultra-fem wispy eyebrows, which I do not want, or the OMG HUGE CATERPILLARS ARE ATTACKING MY FACE GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFFFFF kind of eyebrows. Which I also, uh, don't want. D=

That'd be nice. There's some hairstyles that I love the back, but the front hides my face too much, or the bangs look great, but the length just doesn't do it for me. Most of the hairstyles are done in two parts, anyway, so ...

And I'm with Fleecyboots on the eyebrows! I don't mind wispy eyebrows, but the huge ones, or the uber angry ones? Ugh! Like, I love this particular hairstyle (the Heian), but the eyebrows are ... godawful ugly! The only reason I'm wearing it at all is because I'm wearing a mask ...

If we could mix-n-match the hairstyles, though, being able to mix-n-match the colors would be awesome too ...

Perhaps with the next avatar system? The hair already has two layers (bangs/eyebrows + rest of the head), so the main issue with implementation would be making it actually work. Other than that, there's the matter of the wildly variable color palettes with each hair update. The purple used for hair from gaia's early days is not the same purple being used now, nor is the shading even always of the same quality.

That is a very interesting and good idea. It would be fun to play around with it and see what u can get out of it. And i think the gaia peeps r already workin on that, it is a really good idea
