I think all of my friends are just taking the normal classes though. ._. How rare is it to end up in a class with your friends in a school with 1500 kids? I'm assuming there'll be 500ish 10th graders.

We have. This unit was short though because at the beginning of the month we had spring break, then the week after that it was a long weekend because of Easter, then we didn't have PE on one of the days, another day we didn't practice partner dance. So we've only had a few dance classes per week. And another day we didn't do dance in PE because nobody really showed up for school when there was a snow storm.
The very first day I danced with one of my friends[that was the day he tried asking me], the next class we did the Jive I partnered with one of my guy friends, then on Friday, which was the last day we did partner dance we were all randomly partnered up. You know, IF he came to school today, I actually would've had to dance with him. ._. We did a polka, so the girls had to dance with all of the guys... But he wasn't at school today so I didn't have to dance with him. xD
Then we only have a couple more dance classes before the unit is over; tomorrow and Thursday. Then Friday is the dance competition. And then after Friday this stupid unit will finally be over. c:

It will probably be very unlikely that your friends will end up in a same class as you. I went to a High School that had 500 or less people in it (there were about 98 left in my class when I graduated) and really the only class I had with my friends was Band, only because we had all been in Band class together since 8th grade.

But you'll make other friends in your classes. 3nodding

I find it hard to talk to people I don't really know that well unless I have a friend with me. xD There's still a few months until I start high school, but it still makes me kind of nervous because I'd have to adjust to a new school and new people[even though it's right beside my current school]. But whatever. Whatever happens happens. razz

In my opinion, the classes you take in high school are more important then what friends you have in the class. You can always see your friends at lunch and after school, but taking quality classes, especially AP will help you out in the future. I wasted my high school days on blow off classes with my friends and I would almost anything to go back and take more classes that would actually do me some good in the long run.

But classes get so boring without people. @_@ I can deal with not being in the same class as all of them[hopefully], but I just don't wanna end up in a class with a lot of people I dislike. xD That's what happened at the beginning of this year in my foods class so I switched out and took art instead and turned out I made the best choice ever. O.o Because I got to take the classes I want WITH a bunch of my friends, and non of the annoying people.

Btw, I'm like, 99% sure that I won't have to dance with that guy anymore. Our last dance class is tomorrow, and we had to pick our partner for the competition on Friday today[My partner is one of my guy friends who's extremely bad at dancing...]. And unless we have to do the weird... pattycake polka thing tomorrow, then I won't have to dance with him.
Edit: I don't have to dance with him but I have to stand between him and his best friend during the line dances in the competition. :c Nooo, I don't want to! That's like, standing too close to them. >.> Makes me feel awkward trying to do the line dances, especially when they hardly put any effort in it too. The whole time in my head I should just keep repeating the word 'ignoreignoreignoreignoreignoreignore'

So it's better than the one I have now? I still don't know which one to pick. xD

I'm actually not supposed to be using my laptop right now. xD But I mean... I can't help it, and I think I won't get caught because he's sleeping right now... and he kind of just left my laptop on the kitchen table, so yeah...

Nothing screams awkward and embarassing like having to stand by THAT guy having to do the line dances, with your bra strap falling down your arm and getting stuck on a sticker you had to put on your arm, then trying to fix it and put your bra strap back on your shoulder... Yeah that's attractive. =_=
And he was right behind me when that happened, and I ended up looking back at him, felt so awkward.

Omg I know! Dx It was even more uncomfortable because it was HIM. When I looked at him, I could tell the difference between him looking at ME and him looking forward[which is where I was standing]. It's still the same spot, but I could tell from his eyes. ._. Awks.

Why is everything awkward for me? Yesterday[Saturday] something even MORE awkward happened, and today[Sunday, even though it's past midnight now so it's technically Monday] I felt awkward again because I think I saw my ex guy best friend. These past few days have been so awkward O.o
