Hello, and Welcome to The Stacks Bump Shop.

Here at The Stacks, we offer you a unique and interesting style of bumping. Most shops simply use a banner linking you to their shop when they bump. The Stacks employees will offer you an additional treat: They will bump your shop with book quotes. These quotes can be a source of amusement for yourself and customers, can serve as a conversation piece, they can make looking through your thread for orders a little more interesting.

A little farther down the page you will find a post titled 'Book List.' This post provides a list of books which our employees have selected to bump threads with. You may choose one of the books or series and our bumpers will use only those quotes, or you can simply say 'any book' and our bumpers will select a different book each time they bump your thread. Please note that you will not be allowed to say 'any book except-.' Also, certain books will only be bumped by a specific bumper. These will be specified on the list.

Now then, feel free to read through the rules, to post or order.

Before posting or ordering, we ask that everyone read through the Rules.

1. Always follow Gaia TOS at all times.
2. Always be respectful to our employees and other people posting in the thread.
3. No spamming or advertising in our thread. If you would like to affiliate, please ask.
4. As this is a Library based bump shop, literacy or at least semi-literacy is prized.
5. When ordering, do not act bossy with our employees. This is Gaia, not the real world, and they do not have to have a job here. They are doing this because they want to.
6. Always post orders or employee applications here in the thread. Do not ever PM our mule.
7. Do not steal our graphics or banners or idea.
8. Do not post anything that will stretch the pages or quote anything on the front page.
9. We will not being bumping your thread until you have completed the trade paying us.
10. We reserved the right to change the rules at any time.

ScottieBears MiaKitty is the one who came up with a theme for our shop and worked hard to design the thread. She is an experienced bumper who has worked in about 3 bump shops (she can't remember for sure). She is in charge of the employees of the Stacks. little mintchan is a dedicated bumper who offered up many suggestions for a theme for our shop. She is in charge of our slots and customer relations.

If we are hiring bumpers, you may use this application to apply for a job

Before you apply, you should know our workers are expected:
~to be friendly and chat with customers in their threads.
~to always use the bump forms and books provided to bump.
~to do at least 100 bumps a week.
~to bump the shop thread so that we can get customers.

Before ordering, read through all of this.

~Bumps for shops or petitions cost 2g a bump, charities and quests cost 1g, bribe slots cost 3g.
~Orders must be at least 200 bumps and no more than 1000.
~Customers may either specify 1 book/series/author to bump with or allow any book to be used. They may not set requirements as to 'you can use these books but not these.'
~Customers must always be polite to our bumpers.
~We will not refund you for bumps that you have received. If you need to cancel your order after we have started it we will refund you for the bumps you have not been given. We are willing to transfer your unused bumps to another thread.
~After you post the order form, open trade with The Librarian Bumps for the amount of gold your order requires. Title the thread with the page number of the order and the number of bumps. Trade must be completed before we begin bumping your thread.
~Time limits are allowed so long as they are reasonable.

These are the services we offer:
~We will give your thread at least 20 bumps a day.
~We will PM you each day after we are finished bumping your thread to inform you of any orders your thread has received while we were bumping it.
~We will advertise for your thread here in the shop.
~We will bump your thread at time intervals no less than 1 minute and no more than 5 minutes.
~We can add the pages numbers of any pages with orders on them to our bumps.
