So the places in Totoro like the mountain and the forest is actually real! Like ok, so Miyazaki created this place in Sayama Forest, Saitama and you can actually go on a hike emotion_jawdrop
There's also this Forest Project thing, i'm not too sure what it's about something about artists joining in to save money for something and it's going to be held at pixar. Oh and here's the official page, SHABAM! they sell the seeds and there's like a 50yr old house there! It's like a second Miyazaki museum!! emotion_kirakira
