At the other's oddly provocative tone, Ryuzo grew tempted to roll his eyes. Though he hated to admit it, Rav was a bit difficult to figure out, especially since the fire demon was always observant and constantly trying to decipher everyone's personalities. At the mentioning of a so-called plan, Ryuzo couldn't help but give the other an odd look. "I don't remember coming here to attack. I'm not apart of your army, and we have soldiers in Ningenkai that you should've told to meet you here." What kind of a general was this?

"There is no point in attacking right now except to gain unwanted attention." Ryuzo's arms were crossed back over his chest, blood-red eyes giving a quick glance around. Where was that toddler? No wonder the recruited demons were growing angry. This was supposed to be a quick eavesdrop-trip-then-head-back-to-Ningenkai thing, so Ryuzo was annoyed as well.

There was something niggling the edges of his conscious, something malicious and definitely not good. Familiar auras, yes, but Arius had not been one to associate himself with them. He knew not of their plans, nor of their intentions, but the sheer feeling they gave him sent shivers up and down his spine. "Quiet, you both, we're not alone!" was hissed. Soft voices danced across his ears, playing the lightest melody, but what were they saying?

But, Belarius was at a loss. He was no commander, he was no leader. For all the dragon was concerned, he didn't even belong in this little group. And, most certainly, he didn't want to die. If he had understood Koenma's orders well enough - and he assumed he did - then they were dealing with demons much more powerful than his own petty power. For the moment, sticking with the other two, close, close, close, was by far the best action. Body tensing, hands at the ready to summon every bit of moisture in the air, Arius was undoubtedly frightened.

"We should move. And soon." Eyes flicked quickly to the others; this was business.

Yusuke suddenly heard the dagon demon shout and feel the same presences he had felt alittle earlier when the demon made the outburst in the forest. He could tell the demon was on edge and there spiritual level wasn't intimidating to him but then again Yusuke wasn't intimidated by anything even if he was a C class he wouldn't be afraid but one of them intrested him because he seemed familiar. "Relax there not going to attack...first of all theres 3 against two from what i'm sensing...and one of them is weak compared to us the wrench could handle him if she wanted...and the other guy...I could take him with one finger." He boasted but infact he couldn't beat him that easy something about the stronger of the two screamed trouble and he would definately be a challenge and Yusuke knew that but he needed to encourage his team and not divide...because they couldn't take them on alone and who knew if they had others close by. "So these are the guys that were sending minions of D and C class against me...I feel so under estimated..." He smirked now slightly laughing. "Be on guard..." He said too his seemingly two teammates.

A faint growl escaped his throat. He blew their cover. Great. Good going stupid fire demon. He glared at the man and sighed gently. His lips moved silently into a nasty slang phrase as he closed his eyes. He began to concentrate. His fingers began to feel a little funny, his energy was going up. He couldn't become mist without at least a B rank. Slowly his particles began to disappear into a soft cloud. Moments later he was in the air, everywhere, now mist. He thinned himself out and surrounded the party slowly, like normal mist would, except it was mist with energy that originated in some bushes. Ryu was on his own. He'd make it up to the man later. "Breathe....." He hissed in a low airy tone, much different than his original voice. "Breathe....." He said again, maybe it would freak them out and make them not want to breathe. He was trying to buy Ryu some time. "Poison...." His words echoed around, whispering as if something was haunting the air. He had no poison but it was a good bluff. "die....." Hopefully Ryu was smart to get the hell out of the place he was at and somewhere else, lie low and then decide what to do next.

xxxxx She was about to open her mouth to speak when that uneasy feeling returned.

xxxxx"We don't have time to wait. Have Koenma signal anyone else he wants to join and tell them to move, and quickly. There's something about this, that isn't right." She growled, her long, deep purple wings spreading to their full span; tensed and ready to take off. Her deep, blood red eyes searched the thick fog.

xxxxxShe wasn't knew to this game. Whomever was on the other side wanted to blind side them; of course her wings could help prevent that for but a few moments.

xxxxxShe considered unmasking her aura, just in case. Was it worth it? After all, no one could really see. She swallowed hard, it was rather tempting, but just as dangerous. Her eyes couldn't cut through the fog, for it wasn't thick like the blakness of night. She could only hope her hearing could help. Most bats were opposite, nearly blind in the day, but with amazing hearing.

xxxxxPerhaps in another life, she'd traded in her enhanced hearing for a set of perfect eyes. Then again, who wanted to be visually impaired? She allowed one, massive gust of air to lift her body, as if it was nothing. Her body was stiffened however, muscles braced, just in case.

xxxxx"This isn't good, we have to move now. Waiting could bring death early." She uttered, slowly releasing her aura, just in small pieces, just to see if others could feel it. Of course, she wasn't nearly finished showing her true colors, not even half way there but...

xxxxxShowing them fully could be dangerous before helpful.

xxxxx"Unless you have a better idea." She finished.

As soon as one of the demons hushed the others to warn them, Ryuzo knew their cover was blown. Unfortunately he knew it was his own doing but it would be hell trying to get him to actually admit it. He turned to look back over to Rav only to see fog, a dense fog that was gradually spreading throughout the area. Ryuzo blinked. Was... Rav actually helping him? As much as this moment deserved an award, the fire demon wasted no time fleeing the scene.

First, he made sure his demon energy was too low to sense before he took off in the direction he'd came. But he didn't go too far. Trees were everywhere so he picked one and easily went from branch to branch until he reached the top to hideout for a bit. At least until Rav came back, now that the little alp deserved some of his respect.

"...are you really that much of an idiot?! Or are you making a special attempt for us? " Arius exclaimed scathingly. Their 'company' didn't seem quite intent on attacking, as of yet, and in fact, the demon felt one of the auras fleeing; something low and insignificant, but he believed it hid something more. One didn't live in the humanworld without learning how to identify covered auras, though this one was certainly good at it. Deciding not to pursue - not that he had a choice in the matter - was the best course of action. Of course, if the two unknowns had heard and fled, it meant something was afoot. Surely their attackers wouldn't be swayed into a retreat simply with a bold, cocky statement from the kid? No, Arius was almost certain this would have been a much bigger conflict if it had managed to escalate.

...as soon as that thought crossed his mind, it managed to do just that - escalate. Posionnnnn... The sickly looking mist spread across their little meeting place. The apparent death-cloud was surrounding them, and the dragon demon was fooled. Posion was no friend of his.

Body tensed completely as he summoned his vast spiritual energy, massing it within that focal point in his horns. They weren't just for decoration - they were the source, the container of his power; take them, and he was reduced to nothing, a D-class demon. The slightest shiver racked his body, and suddenly his skin was sprouting scales, bright blue, but the skin on his face remained untouched but for the edges. His horns lengthened, and from his clenched shoulderblades, a twin pair of dark wings arose. It was for these extra appendages that he transformed. Surely he was not at full power, perhaps showing half of what he was truly, but his form was impressive enough - and the reserves of strength were enough to bat away the mist from himself; his only intention. Figuring Yuuko could brush away the gas for herself, Arius sent the powerful gusts of wind towards only himself and Yusuke. Had to at least pretend to be a team player, yea?

They were all suspectible, and though the dragon was loath to aid the others, (and even more annoyed to defeat his own purpose of being there, ahem.) 'death' was not on his to-do list, no matter what Raizen thought. Airbourne poison? Che, as if! He wouldn't die for something so simple.

"Our company is at least a B - I don't wish to waste my energy on fighting him when we're not even in the proper battlefield. Let's flee!"

Shifting her gaze from the ground up to Kurama, Sila shook her head lightly as if it didn't really matter why she was still here and not in Makai. "I should probably ask you the same, but it doesn't matter. Enough chatting, though, we are both needed in Makai anyway." With that, she gave a wave of her hand and sped off once again- not waiting to give Kurama a chance to ask her more questions.
Once she came nearer to the door between Makai and the ningenkai, the air felt a lot heavier and full of threatening auras belonging to the creatures just behind the barrier. She always disliked the Makai to a large extent, ever since she had been allowed into the human world again. It was chock full of demons who were just dying to take advantage of a seemingly innocent little girl, dying to get another taste of innocent blood; however Sila was anything but innocent, despite her appearance. While she wasn't cruel or cold hearted, and did her best to avoid looking like so, she could be a ruthless fighter if it came down to it. Mercy wasn't the first thing on her mind when fighting for your life, afterall. When someone wants you dead, it doesn't matter how sneaky or "dirty" you were- all that mattered was the outcome. The ningenkai was the complete opposite...There, no one seemingly wanted you dead for no reason, unless you count all the sicko creeps of course. It was peaceful there for the most part. When she was in Makai, the innocent air around Sila was gone and replaced with a "don't ******** with me" attitude- not like anyone seemed to notice except a select few anyway.
The door to Makai was still open, allowing her an easy entrance into the realm of demons with a few, quiet steps.

Kurama sighed and raced after her. Youko was cheering in his head. He could feel it coming close, the energy hit him in the face like a slap but it didn't stop him. Soon he was through and was taken aback by the mist that enshrouded him. He coughed. Mist like this in Makai?
Youko growled."It's an attack, though a non threatening one it seems."

Words echoed in the air while he looked around through the density of the fog. He couldn't see anything but he could hear. He could feel Yusuke's energy and tried to pin point it, but other's signatures were getting in the way.

"Some party we have going here." He called out loudly, not sure just how close he was to the others.

Who to target, who to target. He could tell he was making them panic. His body was being pushed around and away from the dragon who heard them and the black haired kid, he could only assume was Yusuke Urameshi, Then the idea clicked. These guys were already on ends and so mad at each other, maybe with the help of Ai they would turn on each other. He gathered himself up into a denser cloud after two more joined in the ranks. He needed to get out of there fast. A butterfly would work, even though it was a huge risk. His fog form raced towards the detective and surrounded him. In a high pitched scream he yelled, "Master, kill them! Traitors to the king!" and the mist disappeared.

A tiny white butterfly with a tiny white hat fluttered quickly off of Yusuke's back and into the bushes, hopefully disappearing from sight. Maybe that would make them get away from the portal or at least away from Yusuke, if not, he needed back up. Oh Raizen was going to have his hide for this. Hopefully the other demons would figure that Yusuke was the one who summoned the mist because the others were getting upset with him and he with them. He could only hope now. His rank was now masked to a flurry of nothing..... maybe an E class.

Arius was... mmmmm... perplexed. The aura had been distinct, but had Yusuke summoned it? That how it appeared... or would have appeared, had not the dragon known the other's allegiance, and his commanding post in the king's army. The man behind the mist answered to Raizen alone, and Arius doubted this silly little Yusuke could command him.

But would it be alright to reveal all that to the rest? Arius wasn't even sure who he wanted to win this little war - Koenma, Raizen, or the humans? It had been his ultimate plan to eventually double cross the both of them; that was always a fun position to play - but it was evident now he was going to have to choose a side.

Huhhhhhhhhhhh... and what a choice. Cocky child that smelled like humans and ordered him around? Or superpowerful demon that could roast him on an instant's notice? Either side had a chance of meeting death in a more intimate fashion than Arius was accustomed. He could be taken out by assassins in the field while working for Koenma, he could be beaten to a bloody pulp after he died in the Spirit world for screwing the Toddler over.

...you know, it was really a lose-lost situation, damn the b*****d child-ruler for making it so difficult! Was there a way to play both sides of this? Probably, he'd just have to think. Sacrifices would be made, but if that meant he could go back to living as he had - he'd do it in a heartbeat. Trick 'em both, that was the ticket! Opening his maw wide, Arius called out to the receding aura that he could barely hold on to, "Hawh! Tell Raizen that sheep in the field hide wolves, so don't attempt something like that on us again, fool!" Did... did Raizen encourage Charles Dickens reading in his demonic kingdom? For the life of him, in those thousands of years that the demonic kind lived, Arius hoped they had at least read A Tale of Two Cities. Classic. Sheep? Spy...? Yeah. Well. Maybe Arius just liked the French Revolution because he had taken part in it. What a stupid, obscure, vain little dragon, he was!

Meh. Maybe it would be enough. He didn't count on the others on his team understanding - Yusuke looked like a delinquent and Yuuko didn't look like she had time for such trivial matters...

...but the two new approaching auras might have heard and understood. Crapit. He coughed, then reverted back to human form without much more pomp and circumstance.

"Ahem. Yea. A party."

Now, who were these new teammates?

Yusuke watched all of the events closely and saw what the mist was trying to do but it was obvious and most people knew that he didn't have the power to create a mist and if he did he couldn't make it talk. The young detective sensed one familiar aura and another unfamiliar aura nearby and made a slight smirk when the mist disappeared. "Kurama long time no see." He stated forgetting all about the mist but not losing track of the aura's nearby that seemingly went away. He wasn't all that dumb and his instincts usually were right so he went with them. Faster then a blinking eye a powerful energy shot went towards the aura that was of E class not to hit the demon but as of a warning. "Tell whoever your working for to send stronger demons im getting tired of being underestimated with the magician tricks a*****e!" He yelled and then waited for Kurama to come closer to him so he could get out of there and let the others find them because currently that area was waiting for an ambush.

Hiroyuki Nomora

Still apparently fascinated by the state of the sky, he did not turn to look at her as she spoke. Call it being rude—and Hiro usually prided himself in being polite—but coming off as a jerk wasn’t intentional. No, his intention was to analyze her voice without watching her. That way, he’d get a better idea of who she was, what sort of person she was. Hiro was not very trusting. At first glance he was laid back, easygoing, and quite cold. But there was no heart of gold under all that ice. Just ice, and more ice. Because Hiro was not quick to accept others as friends, or even allies. He’d learned not to do that a very, very long time ago.
The thought of it caused his eyes to narrow. Best not dwell on it. But then again, dwelling on it would make the revenge twice as sweet. And oh, he would get revenge…

“Depends on what you’d consider working.” He said slowly, purposely dragging out a response to see if the girl would become angered. Her voice was hard to read, even for a fox demon. It seemed childish, and yet had a bit of an edge to it as well. But with was the real nature of this person? Nasty, or childish? Both? He’d find out.

“Right now I’m just enjoying the scenery.”

He paused, then finally turned to her once he felt that he’d taken long enough to finish his thought. Perhaps going with her would be more fun than standing here. And though he worked for Koenma now, he hardly had the toddler’s best interests in mind. In Hiro’s mind, whatever was fun was what should be done. That, or whatever benefited him the most. Koenma can…perhaps seventh on his list. If even that.

"But I suppose you're right. Lead the way."

The presence was all to familiar.

Her bright red eyes found themselves darting to the path right before the clearing. Damnit, why were they here? She kept her head steady and masked her anger with fake concern. "Somethings up." She uttered gingerly before taking a running leap and vanishing. If those two were going to mess things up, oh, they were as good as dead. Did they not realize she had yet to get to the group? Her lips pursed into a deep, displeased frown.

                Idiots.

She paused before the clearing as the fog began to clear. It was Rav, she'd know this trick anywhere. She smirked softly at the screetched whisper in the wind. What a sneaky b*****d!~ To think, she was just going to play the newbie B class who couldn't fight that well, the work from the inside to stray members of the team, or possibly manipulate them with suttle word games to turn them against eachother.

Because what could possibly be more entertaining? Absolutely nothing.

"What the hell?" She asked, tugging her shirt up over her face. She wasn't stupid, inhaling this stuff was deadly. Obviously the winged demons knew that, especially that dragon puffing the poison off with his wings. Well, at least they were somewhat intelligent. She peered around and gave a fake cough, grumbling slightly about Rav not giving some sort of warning.

                a*****e.

She walked farther into the clearing, her bright eyes searching each form within basic site. What kind of team was this!? Obviously not Dark tournamnet material... Koenma must have been desperate to recruit these guys. And that bat girl.... who went after a freaking bat? Weren't they blind and useless in tight spaces? Oh, she'd be the first one to...

                disappear.
