Hands crossed behind his back in a graceful manner, he went to take a few steps forward. Unbeknownst to himself, Ryuzo's gaze held an abnormal intensity as he gazed below from the kingdom's massive window, blood red eyes staring into the greenery surrounding the growing demon community. Ryuzo had been known by others to think a lot but he might've been thinking a bit too much this time. All of Spirit World knew by now that Raizen had crossed that very fine line by invading and, soon enough, conquering human world. But where were the threats? The warnings? The Reikai? Something was obviously being planned...

"What is it this time, Ryuzo?" a familiar, deep voice questioned from behind. Either Ryuzo had been in a serious deep trance or he was getting so used to Raizen's presence that he could barely sense it anymore. Hopefully the latter. "Do you truly trust her?" he answered with another question, before turning around halfway to look over at the king. They both knew who he was talking about. There was a long pause. "As long as she gets the job done right," he finally replied. Ryuzo merely nodded at the vague reply before he turned back around to gaze out of the window once more.

Raizen's footsteps started and stopped soon afterward, standing beside his second in command. Now they both stared out of the window, side by side. "I know everything around here is a lot more quiet than it should be. I'm going to take advantage of that while I still can." He was King Raizen after all, the War God, he could handle any attacks that were to eventually come. Especially with Ravage as the general of his army. "Of course you are." Ryuzo smirked. "I must say, though, I'm very curious as to what's to be planned against us."

The fire demon glanced over at Raizen, a mischievous gleam to his bright red eyes. The king merely grinned. "Be my guest." Ryuzo wasted no time then. He headed for the exit of the room but stopped once Raizen spoke up. "While you're there, don't be surprised to run into Rav." Ryuzo made a mental note of that before he continued on, soon enough standing in front of the large double doors of the kingdom. Two guards pushed open to let him through and, at a quick pace, he raced even further into the forest, strong legs leading him on until the sky grew a deep crimson color and the distinguishable scent and aura of youkai surrounded him. As soon as Ryuzo entered the Makai he'd made sure to lower his demon energy, masking his true power to blend in with the usual lower class.

He didn't need to stick out after all, especially since he wasn't siding with Koenma. He only wanted quick details then he could happily return to King Raizen; besides, there was no telling how long that Ai Kasumi girl would take.

Silky, fiery red strands and the ends of his robe flew behind him as he continued his original pace. He had no idea where everyone was supposed to meet up so the only thing he could really do was track down a group of demons and hope it was them. About a half an hour later, Ryuzo finally slowed to a walk then stopped, black long-sleeve covered arms folding across his broad chest. The white robe was worn over the black shirt, his legs covered in matching black pants. Along his ankles, though, white bandages overlapped one another, his black shoes starting him off again at a slow walking pace.

A familiar scent was very close and he only needed to take a few steps past some trees and bushes to see who it was. Ravage. "Raizen warned me you'd be here, but why?" Ryuzo questioned in his usual calm manner.

Rav let out an annoyed sigh. He hated waiting for people. He paced around, staring at his wooded surroundings, bored. Rav was an impatient demon by nature... he wanted to just go doing something! Why did Raizen even want him to wait for that snippy fire demon? There was no point! It was a one man job and he was plenty man enough for it. He growled and sat down against a tree. It had been twelve minutes and he was sick of waiting. Just then there was a rustle and he scrambled to his feet. "Damn Ryu-chan, what did you do, crawl here?" He brushed himself off.

"Come on we have business to attend too." He said proudly.

Kurama's eyes narrowed. So she knew who he was. Pity he didn't have the same for her. He had no idea what she was talking about. They met before and... there was a score?

"Well Sila was it? Since you seem to know so much about me you should also know, never corner a threatened fox." He could let that information slip. Since she knew his name she probably knew about Youko as well. Then again everyone did after the tournament, where he almost died.

He drew the rose from his hair quickly and manipulated it into become a whip. "You can't blame me for not trusting you."

Realizing that he didn't remember who she was, Sila sighed and stepped back a small step.
"Look, Koenma sent me on the same mission as you, Yusuke, Hiei and the others have all been told about. If you don't remember me from the last time Koenma had me tag along with you all, so be it." She explained, locking her ice blue eyes with his emerald, fierce-looking ones. She continued with a softer tone of voice, attempting to have him realize she was not a threat- on the contrary she would be working with them to help defeat King Raizen and accompanying demons and only wanted to be friendly to those she would be spending the majority of her time with. "I'm also kitsune, in case you aren't aware...I have no intention of harming you or anyone else. Koenma has sent me off to try and help, apparently he said something about King Raizen trying to inhabit the human world now. He was so flustered it was a tad difficult to understand him. Oh and sorry for startling you, I thought you'd recognize me for sure," With a hidden chuckle, she glanced around at the moving trees and looked for any signs of anyone else coming, foe or friend.

It was obvious how impatient Rav had been when he caught him scrambling quickly to his feet like a madman. The moment Ryuzo's name was butchered with the affectionate suffix, his eyes narrowed at the other, not exactly a glare, but it definitely showed how much he disliked the title. "It's Ryuzo," he clarified in a stiff, annoyed tone.

Despite Rav verbally beckoning him to hurry up and follow, Ryuzo stayed put a few yards away, arms still crossed over his chest. He also paid no mind to the other's command of not to ask him questions. "We have business? ...Together?" Why would Raizen do this to him... "I know what business I have and it certainly does not involve you." Even though Ryuzo was upset about having to work with, or even be near Rav, his voice remained leveled. "So I don't know what you're talking about." And he finally moved, only to walk past the other.

If Youko taught him anything it was two things, humans are weak and can be ripped apart, and to be cautious. He was going to stick by that.

"Great another fox..." the kitsune huffed in his mind. Shuichi hadn't said anything in a while, probably terrified at the thought of going to demon world... again.

Kurama, however did revert the rose back to it's original form but kept it tightly in his hand. Some may call him paranoid but he was still alive.
"Koenma informed me more on the situation...." He murmured carefully, making sure not to let much information out. "He was calmed down enough so I would understand him... why aren't you in Makai? I should have been the only one left to go there...."

Ryu was already pissing the Alp off. He sighed and looked at him. "Okay listen to me, Raizen put ME in charge of this mission. He made me WAIT for you. There's no way in hell you are going to boss me around." He would drag him by the hair if he had to. "All you have to do is your part, help me spy on a spy, maybe do some other stuff and that's it. Got it? And no more questions." He was sick of it. He grabbed the man's arm and started off. "Power down. A B class shouldn't be to notic-..."Then he thought about it. "All the way... like you were nothing." His mixed gaze found Ryuzo's. "If you can, Ryu-chan." They were almost to the portal. If everything went according to plan, he'd be done with this in a couple of hours. His level went down as he looked back at Ryuzo. "Well?" That was the thing about Rav however. He didn't care that this man was the second in command under King Raizen. He always treated everyone equal or lower than he.

Was... was he serious? Arius stared without subtly at the other, brows furrowing with the greatest confusion and contempt. Noting that his mouth was hanging slightly open, the demon promptly clicked it shut with the words, "Are you... are you really serious?"

Except, it looked like Urameshi was quite serious about it. By the gods, that was so, so precious. A cough first escaped him, then his lips cracked into a reluctant smile. Yusuke? Fight? Him? The thought sent waves of cocky laughter through Arius's mind, which was reflected in the choked chuckle. "Boy, I don't think you should be offering to fight. Weren't you just trying to hold the peace...? You hardly make a suitable substitute for Yuuko." The statement was posed as an insult. Now, who exactly did Urameshi think he was? A demon king? Ahh, hahahaha, the thought was hilarious to the demon, and, though he couldn't gauge perfectly the hidden potential in the other male, it couldn't have been high enough to beat Arius!

At least, that was his humble opinion. Then again, this Urameshi had offered a challenge, and though he didn't seem as though he was able enough for a bout with the dragon demon, perhaps he did have some cleverly concealed ace. "As you wish, though - " another dark chuckle " - I will step down from the challenge. However much I desire to, say, test your skills, that can wait until after we've completed our distasteful little task." A nod, and then the cold, provoking aura was evaporated. "After all, I've no wish for anyone to... get hurt. Eh heh."

Ah, he was going to have to lower up the belligerence in him. Arius desperately wished to challenge the others, just for a taste of what he had missed in his soft human years. The demonic benevolence was wonderous to feel, with every breeze he felt invigorated and much more bloodthirsty, morphing from his more contented human-world-persona to the raging demon that he had hidden among people. He had to get out before less pleasant events happened, however loath Arius was to leave the Homeland.

Yusuke glared at the dragon demon and quickly lost his temper but didn't fall into the demons trap of unconcealing his power level when currently it was at the B rank but his teammates in fact knew what Yusukes potential was and who he was. "Demon king??" He stated with a slight laugh and then tightened his fist. "You would be surprised..." He let on and then pointed his finger at the dragon demon in an intimidating stance. "Don't get cocky I will kick your a** and Koenma won't be able to save you!" He said with a slight raise in his voice. "Now we have acouple of people left to show up so shut up or i'm going to make you shut up!" He started to yell now which he normally did when he lost his temper. "Now any questions!?!?" He stated daring the demon to say anything else.

xxxxx "Oh will you two just shut up."

xxxxxYukko Hatsuharu was not currently a happy camper. She couldn't stand long boughts of arguing, it was pure idiocy and especially annoying. Her lips were curled into a deep frown, her arms crossed, head lowered only the slightest bit. Lovely, the Dragon's ego was roughly the size of a blimp, and the Detective's head was full of hot air. This team was already looking marvelous. Sweet Gods, she should have joined the King's side. Maybe then a suitable team would be provided.

xxxxx"Listen detective. I will not hesitate to help Dragon boy here hand you a one way ticket to Reikai if you start causing problems. Because so help me God, I will wrip out your throat and beat you with it." The former leader was not happy. She knew exactly what it took to keep a team running smoothly, and these two were usually the ones she would dropp like hot cakes.

xxxxxYuuko had zero patience for people like these two. To think this kid had saved the world a few times. He acted like a grade schooler. His temper seemed almost out of control, and Yuuko had only known him for what now, five or more minutes? Ugh, if things got rough, these two were so on their own. Especially since they'd end up killing eachother before the opponent had the first strike.

xxxxxAnd as amusing as it would be to see some blood shead...

xxxxxThe bat yoaki merely shook her head and sighed heavily. "Look, just try to get along. And if you can't hold a conversation, don't talk at all. Or else one of you will end up without a tongue. And hey, at least that'll keep one of you loud mouths quiet. More so you Yusuke." She growled. Her tone wasn't hesitant, even if she put out only a bit of her real power at a time. Unmasking it...with such uncertainty....well, it could be suicide.

xxxxxHopefully matters had worked out.

xxxxx"In any case, how much longer do we have to wait?" She asked. There were places to go an people to scam after all! Not to mention, something about this whole gathering thing made her uneasy. And it was bad news when a man slaughtering, emotionless, con-you-for-all-your-worth, two faced biitch became uneasy about the ordeal.

"Calm your tone, child!" Belarius snapped at Yusuke, his temper flaring for but a moment, revealing a large extent of his spirit power before he grabbed hold of control again. Apparently, this world made him more susceptible to slip ups, too. Either that, or this kid really, really pissed him off. "I could say the exact same to you. This uncouth language of yours is simply unappealing, something must be done to curb your wagging tongue. Don't you dare believe I rely on that silly Toddler-child for anything, except maybe to lift the barrier that divides the worlds. Other than that, he is useless, don't demean me by suggesting I ever need his help!" The words were hissed, and threatening, though Arius was entirely gauging the reaction from Yusuke. Could he tempt a fight? The demon almost felt like backing out, just in case he did happen to have something up his sleeve, but, realizing his mistake, the half-dragon was too far gone to do so without losing face. Break a bone or break his pride...? He'd die before the latter.

And then Yuuko was speaking, her first words scathing, the rest with vaguely intelligent design. A slight curl came to his lips, but he simply nodded shortly, holding back the urge to spit out, I wouldn't need your help to kill him, stupid girl. But that would be bad. Bad bad bad. So he didn't utter a belligerent word. Certainly Yuuko annoyed the living hells out of Arius, what with all the un-subtle arrogance, but she had a valid point, and he would not argue against the truth. Though completely convinced he could take on both of them - together, even - in a fight, a group would be much easier to work with on this mission... if they didn't kill each other first.

"I'm impatient to move. When are they arriving?" Ugh. Arius hated 'fashionably late' people, so he was almost sure to hate the rest of their team.....

Yusuke smirked for a moment and t the conversation at that and then looked towards the portal. "If they don't come in thirty minutes we are leaving and they can catch up with us on the way." He was extremely impatient too and his temper always got the best of him but thats what made Yusuke who he was and the wo demons and other teammates who didn't know him would eventually get to know and love him for it. His power level remained at B rank for now but when needed be he would raise it if he needed to for any threats on the mission so the two demons would eventually see his real power and infact who he really was.

Why did he have to be the patient one? Even though it only proved he was better than Rav it still pissed Ryuzo off to no end, because no one died and stuck the tiara up his a** to take over. And on top of that he was tossing around threats. Threats that really didn't threaten Ryuzo whatsoever but it still made Rav think highly of himself, and he really, really loathed that. And lastly to win to the 'Piss Ryuzo Off' contest, the alp brat challenged him. Usually Ryuzo loved challenges and couldn't pass one up, but coming from Rav made him hate it.

For a split second, Ryuzo's eyes and the marks on his face glowed dangerously to release his bottled up anger, momentarily frying his skin in the process. Probably wasn't a good idea for Rav to touch his hand but he did, and Ryuzo didn't stop him. He reluctantly walked behind the other, gradually lowering his aura to the lowest possible. For a moment he'd nearly forgotten his anger toward Rav when distant yelling reached his ears. Really?

Most likely they were the demons that were meeting up under Koenma's orders, only they were somewhat masking their true power. This was really what they were up against? Ryuzo almost let out an amused laugh at the thought; maybe they would kill each other first before Raizen could get a hold to them.

He winced as his hand stung but didn't bother letting go. He knew he got under the fire demon's skin. How delightful! He smirked."No need to get so testy." He whispered in a seductive tone. He crouched down in the bushes. "wow... arguing already?" A soft chuckle escaped his lips. "You know the plan right?" He mouthed, showing sharp little fangs. his aura was nothing now, ah demons who relied to much on their sense of energy instead of their eyes and ears. Made him smile. "Mist" He pointed at himself. "Destroy." His finger then turned to the fire demon. He motioned for a signal, which was a simple tap on the shoulder. After all the man would notice when the Alp wasn't there anymore, and was just a thick fog. Fog no one could see in. One of the advantages of being an Alp. People inhale you and are tormented. He hoped no one else would really show, it would be harder to control.
