Long ago, Twilight Kingdom was ruled by a wise old King, whose word was Law.

The King still watches over the Kingdom, today, but in the bustling dwelling of Radiant Garden, the King takes a back-seat to the two Ruling Families:

Two-hundred years ago, the people of Oblivion House in the North, and Neverwas Manor in the South, began their still-existing hatred and distrust of each other. Nothing quite so bad as the Montagues and the Capulets, oh, no.

...but it was pretty damned close.

To the common-folk of Radiant Cargden, this feud affected next-to-no part of their daily lives (although the constant gun-shots and sword-clashes off in the distance could get rather annoying, at times).

But to the members of the two families -- many of them quite young -- every day meant a new battle to be won, for fear of death or defeat.


This is the story of this never-ending battle.


So now, to you, the curious, I offer this:

Will you step into this tale of love and friendship, tradegy and death, hurt and betrayal?

I warn thee, however: If be you of a weak heart and mind, I urge thou to take immediate leave.

On the other hand, if thy mind be strong, and thy heart willing, then I welcome thee with wide open arms, and beckon you into the pages of this age-old tale.

First off, this is an ADVANCED LITERATE-Roleplay. I don't expect novels, but how 'bout more than just a sentence or two, eh? writer's Block is perfectly understandable, but it shouldn't happen all the time.

- Be kind and courteous to your fellow role-players.

- Romance (Be it BL, GL, or Het) is allowed and highly encouraged, and cursing/swearing is perfectly fine.

- Please try and post at least once or twice a week (Please INFORM everyone if you're going to be gone for a while, or if you're dropping the R.P.).

- Don't Godmode or Powerplay.

Personality: As the Marquise of Neverwas Manor, Larxene is one of the most powerful women around, and she knows it. She doesn't abuse her power, oh no!!

...at least, not when anyone's looking.

Beautiful, eccentric, and sweetly sadistic, Larxene lives in a world where there are only two groups of people: "her", and "Not Her". Now, this little categorization of hers gives Larxene the appearance of a self-centered, self-satisfied, "I'm better than you" b***h.

...which she is.

The Marquise strolls around the halls of Neverwas Manor like she owns the place. This doesn't get on particularly well with her uncle Xemnas (To whom she is related only after some serious twists, turns, and removals on the family-tree), but since when has she given a damn? After all, wipe out the old man and the kid, and the place would be hers, so why not start preparing for it now? With this feud going on the way it was, they'll be pushing up daisies before anyone could blink.

All in all, Larxene is the epitome of "Don't judge a book by its cover.". Sure, on the outside, she's sweet and cute, but look a little deeper, and you'll see your own death just waiting to happen. Don't look her in the eye, don't criticize her, don't get on her bad side, don't mess with her or her belongings, and you just MIGHT survive.

Bio: Born into the most direct line of Neverwas Manor, Larxene lost her mother soon after she was born. Her father, becoming extremely protective of his daughter, appointed guards outside her room day in and day out, determined not to let the feud touch her. And, he succeeded: For much of her childhood, the feud raging on outside of the twenty-foot tall protective walls was but a story told to Larxene, told to her by her nurse and, at times, by her father. For many years, Larxene was able to lead a "normal", albeit extremely spoiled, life, with her father spending time with her when he could, giving her lavish gifts and all the attention that she wanted.

Then, when Larxene was twelve, her father was shot and killed in a battle with several members of Oblivion House. Gone was the forced obliviousness of the feud. Guards around her room increased ten-fold, though the newly-instated Marquise herself was forced into the battle. Larxene proved herself useful in the conflict, armed with a quick eye and a sharp wit, along with unprecedented speed in her movements. In two short years, Larxene had pulled back Oblivion House's gain on Neverwas Manor, and evened out the two sides. With this, Larxene pulled back into her life of grandeur, feeling that she had done what she was obligated to, and nothing more.

Now, Larxene remains as influential as ever in the battle, though she herself seldom goes out to dirty her own hands, these days. She makes it her duty to keep the members of the Manor in check, often in a way that involves broken legs and permanent scarring. But, it was all for the greater good: After all, no one has ever won a war with weak littel sissies battling for them, now, have they?

Personality: Cold and aloof, Zexion is, perhaps, the only member of either family to never have stepped foot in battle. Instead, the quiet man spends his days in the Manor's spacious library, indulging in the ancient knowledge lying within the pages. He frowns upon childish behaviour, and, were it anyone else but him, Zexion would be what one called "annoyed" with the unpredictable antics of the Lords Sora and Demyx. However, being a member of Neverwas Manor only by knighthood, he is unable to speak his mind on such matters as is, and simply does his best to avoid them, though that itself can prove to be quiet the task for the bookkeeper, at times.

Zexion seldom speaks, and when he does, the words are carefully chosen, able to deliver the greatest impact possible. He assists the Duke with planning attacks and raids, for his cunning and foresight makes him several steps above the rest. More than once he has kept Xemnas from making fatal details in his haste. Zexion is patient and calm, and if he's ever lost his temper, before, no one knows about it.

Bio: Zexion's earliest memory is of sitting in his father's study, surrounded by his books. As soon as he could move around on his own, he'd follow after his father as he worked in the bookstore that the family owned, first by crawling, then walking, picking up books that fell and placing them back on their respective shelves. So it was no surprise to anybody when Zexion learned to read and write by the age of four, and could read many of his parents' novels by the time he was six, taking to the words on the pages like a duck to water in a pond.

When Zexion was fifteen, he accompanied his father on a trip to Neverwas Manor, where the Duke Xemnas had requested their assistance in sorting through some old legal papers. It was here, when he was exploring the halls, that he overheard a conversation between Xemnas and the general of the Neverwas Guard, Sephiroth. The two of them were planning their next attack on Oblivion House, through a hidden passage through a cavein the woods. Zexion intruded, and, before either of the men could even begin to wonder what the hell he was doing there, told them about the dried-up river in the passage, one end of which was directly in the middle of one of Oblivion House's gardens. Because of the lack of water, it had probably been brushed off as a simple hollow in the groud, but that year's many floods was no doubt more than enough to fill up the river, and reveal the way to the Oblivion Guard: To use it now was almost-guaranteed defeat. Right then, Zexion was closer than ever in his life to be persecuted by the Duke, but luckily for him, a scout sent out by Sephiroth two days earlier rushed into the room, shouting about how the river had been filled with water, and that he barely escaped being seen by a group of Oblivion soldiers that were heading down the passage. The soldiers were quickly taken care of, but Xemnas, impressed with Zexion's foresight, invited him to become a member of Neverwas Manor, which the latter gratefully accepted.

Zexion remains as sharp as ever, held in as much respect and regard as some of the Lords, themselves. All of this was pleasantly enjoyable, of course, but it was superficial, and Zexion didn't care too much about it. As a matter of fact, the only reason that he even accepted Xemnas's offer in the first place was because of the age-old knowledge contained within the walls of the manor, and nothing more.
