The world of Remnant has long been an inhospitable place for humanity. Creatures known as Grimm who are attracted to more negative emotions hunt humanity endlessly and have claimed most of the land for their own. The only shining lights in the darkness are the four Kingdoms, the last beacons of civilization that stand strong against the hordes of Grimm that would love nothing more than to tear down their walls and destroy everything inside. Vale, Atlas, Vacuo and Haven. While each Kingdom's military force is respectable in their own way The Kingdom largely owes this peace to their Hunters and Huntresses, exceptional warriors who live to serve and protect the people of the kingdoms. After honing their skills for years at one of the four Academies devoted to the practice of making hunters they enter the service of their respective kingdoms.
One Academy per kingdom, that's how it's always been...until this coming year that is.
None of the headmasters knew what to think when the proposition came to them from an unlikely source...A joint school of sorts, an Academy that's goal was to promote unity between the kingdoms by accepting students from all the lands and create as diverse teams as possible so that from the very first year they would be able to start understanding each other's culture. Even more surprising, however, was the one who brought the idea forward; Celine Beloure, a huntress well known throughout all the kingdoms for both her ruthless and unyielding personality but also her discontent for the exact process the Academies trained their students. To say that the headmasters were skeptical was to say the least but after much deliberation when it was put to a vote it ended three votes to one in favor of creating the Academy. Then a second problem arose; Beloure wanted to be the one in charge of the Academy. She was the one who came up with the idea, after all, she stated that she wanted to see it through to the end. After even more heated arguments the assembly agreed on the stipulation that they would choose the assistant headmaster for the Academy.
However, little did the headmasters know exactly what Celine had in mind...None of them could have expected that for the location of the school she would choose a once vacant castle that until very recently was filled to brim with Grimm. They couldn't have guessed that said castle was isolated from the four kingdoms, buried deep in the northwestern continent's mountain region with the nearest and only sign of civilization being a small port town...And most of all the could not have noticed that behind the selling point of uniting the kingdoms was one of the harshest and deadliest curriculum any of them had seen.

RULES
Paragraph rules, deal with it.
First of all, follow Gaia T.o.S. Shouldn't really have to say this, but I'm contractually obligated to. If you have never read it, go do it right now. I'll wait.
Secondly, don't be a little banana. Try to get along with your fellow Rpers. Character's fighting or hating one another is fine, but leave it in the RP. Outside of the RP, we're all just trying to have fun with fluffy bunnies and no one likes being around two people who're fighting. Try to be acepting of others and all that other good stuff we all learned from Ghandi, Mother Theresa and Kindergarten teachers. Also, while we are at it, keep the thread clean. No nudies, time skip when it happens, all that jazz. Swearing is fine, try not to make it every other word in all of your posts. I understand a character blowing up every once in a while, but keep it contained, ya dig? Don't kill, hurt or god-mod other's characters without their permission. Also, as it comes to fights bewteen characters in the RP please come to a conclusion as to who will win the fight together.
Thirdly, character rules. In the beginning all we will be accepting is students, they are by far the most important part of any RWBY RP that takes place in a school. After at least three full teams have been filled I will be willing to accept teachers but keep in mind in the environment the school is in the teachers do not have as much to do as the students. Reservations will be based on where your student is originally from, four slots in each nation to start out with. Send your reserve with the name of the land your character is from and your profile with "Student Dossier: (Insert your student's full name here)". We are currently accepting;

A picture, a name, and a location is all I'm requiring.
