
Mrs. may silently nodded as Joy apologized, and when she asked of the guards she only sighed. Her breath caressed the warm tea before she took a sip. "Maxi and Ron..." she whispered. "Two of Aden's most trusted guards, though they have the embodiment of Men in their young thirties, they're nothing more than dogs." Her voice has hushed but harsh. "The most I can say for now is that it seems as if they were brain washed in relevance to when they were first employed.... But those days are long gone..." Those were the days when Aden was young, nine years ago.
Mrs. May was unmarried and good friends with Gregory, he being only a few years ahead of her. He hired her as a part time secretary until she was to finish med school. She remembered Mrs. Smith, a nice young woman, though she seemed to always be busy, and with Gregory running the newly founded asylum he couldn't just Have Aden running around. Aden was left in the care of a nanny, around the same time the guards were hired. this all lasted about a year, Aden would occasionally come home crying about his nanny, though it was all left ignored. That's when he started growing angry...
A sudden chill rose up her spine as she jolted back into the present. "I'm sorry what were we talking about?" She smiled as if she hadn't faded into that memory, as if here eyes hadn't fallen into a soulless look, cast over in sorrow, and as if she hadn't lost every ounce of joy her being portrayed, if even for only a moment.
