"How do you think I felt when you were there when I'd just gone into a ... you know what, nevermind about the whole coma thing. I still don't get it myself." Sam shook his head. Best not to discuss the intricate complexities of time travel with his DCI. He looked to the blue box "I'm aware of what they are... sort of... what I'm wondering about is why there is one here. Wherever 'here' is. I never saw one in my life." He forgot to take in account the fact that Gene must be thinking he'd lived through the fifties and the sixties, which he hadn't since he was born in 1969, not 1937.
The DI looked at the two men standing by the police box, then his eyes widened in confused shock seeing a third man appear, out of the box. The man could literally be his mirror image, save for the clothes and the fact that Sam had longer sideburns, which every man seemed to sport in the seventies. Sam had sometimes wondered if it was due to the nurses at the 2006 hospital not shaving him properly or if it was only himself. Well, now it was only himself anyway. Now he was merely a dead body in 2006.
"What the hell..." Sam Tyler muttered, staring at his strange 'twin'. However, this was topped when one of the other men, in some kind of medieval style clothes, threw something, apparently a throwing knife, which embedded itself with a loud 'thunk!' in the Cortina's bonnet. Sam gaped at the metal piece still sticking out of it, getting slowly out of the car and stared at Gene, wondering if he should risk his own life trying to hold back his Guv from trying to murder the man that dared to touch his prized car.
"Yeah, right, I bet you just don't want to admit you can't drive this rustbucket of a TARDIS. You couldn't even sabotage it properly when I stole it, heh." The Master commented derisively at the Doctor's inability to find out where and when they were; before they went outside.
"Gu-" The Master gave a choked sound at the Doctor's stomping on his foot and glowered at him with a look that indicated the taller man was very lucky he didn't have any pointy objects on him right now, but he was considering strangling the Doctor into his next regeneration with his own tie, by shoving it down his throat.
He huffed at the Doctor's incessant babbling about religion. "Right, and what do Jehova witnesses do when they come to your doorstep? Well, in my case, they were target practice, but still... I also really confused the scientology ones when I told them I was an alien and then they had to worship me. They gave me a lot of money too. Heck, half my election campaign was paid by those idiots." The Time Lord looked to the man "No religion? Eh, good on ya. So we're not on Earth's medieval times either... well... if the car was any indication..." Then again, this man certainly had primitive weapons, as proved by the throwing knife... maybe he was one of those roleplayer guys that took it way too seriously.
Speaking of the car, a very familiar-looking man stepped out of it. "Huh... wait, wait, wait, I get it, we're either in an alternate reality or your TARDIS screwed up and crossed our own future timeline. Hm... no, maybe alternate reality, -I- would never wear a leather jacket, polyester and Cuban heels. Ye gods. But maybe that's your next regeneration, Doctor. Boy, did you let yourself go. Lay off the candy from now on, 'ey?"
Sam returned a little smile seeing she accepted his jacket and did seem grateful for it. It would be better for her if she had some pants too, but he could hardly give her his, they obviously wouldn't fit anyway, and they were a bit harder for him to miss than a jacket.
Alarm bells went off in the youngest Winchester's head when the girl suddenly grabbed Dean's gun. "Hey!" Though he halted his action of grabbing his own gun when she said she was a vampire. He never heard of anything called 'Black Ribboners', but they had encountered vampires before who refused to drink human blood and drank only animal blood. So perhaps she was telling the truth, he thought, until she started about religious objects.
"Garlic? Religious objects?" Sam repeated confused, exchanging a glance with Dean before looking back to the girl. "Anyone that knows anything about vampires knows that's nothing but myth, that stuff doesn't work on vampires..." Maybe she was a vampire-wannabe... but no, that couldn't be, not with the way she took Dean's gun. If she was another supernatural creature, why would she say she's a vampire instead of whatever she is?
This was very confusing indeed. "Are you... really a vampire?" Sam asked, confused and suspicious about the whole thing. "Either you're not... or vampires in this place are different than where we come from..."
