Tinypaw hurried over the log and took his place at Finchpaws side again, although his sister leaned almost her full weight on him, he was glad she wasn't as large as Reedpaw or Fernpaw, the tom grunted as he meowed "Hang on, we'll get back to camp, and you can sleep in your warm nest." he tried to sound up-beat but his voice squeaked. The small black-and-white tom nodded to Cedarbreath, grateful for his help.
Reedpaw laughed at the toms comment and glanced up to see his mentor smiling, which made it even funnier for the apprentice, and he purred "I'd bet that's why they are so slimy!" the toms whiskers twitched.
Whitecloud followed close enough to Finchpaw to ensure that Tinypaw didn't need help, he didn't care how tired he was, he would be there to help his apprentice even if it killed him.
Shredstar slowed his pace some when they reentered Shadowclan territory, he was glad to be back on familiar ground, and the tom slowed a bit to keep pace with Frogtail. "Morningflower doesn't seem completely fit to be a leader, does she?" the tom twitched an ear and continued "Windclan itself seems to be weakening greatly, to bad we don't share borders with them, or we might be able to see how strong their warriors are." his yellow eyes narrowed thoughtfully "Did you overhear anything at the gathering?" he glanced over at the she-cat with an intense curiosity.
Mousewhisker grunted as he placed a paw down awkwardly, but he kept himself from stumbling, the deputy bounced along seemingly losing her will to fight back against his help. "I don't know-" his eyes darkened slightly as he meowed "She should've known that staying back would've been better then risking her life, she doesn't have nine lives like Shredstar, hopefully we can get her back into my den and keep her there until she heals properly." the tom noticed that her shoulder was bleeding again, slowly, and he sighed.
Stoattail blinked out of her daze to smile at her apprentice, she saw that Icepaw looked a bit out of it, and she meowed "It is a lovely night, a bit cool, but lovely." her amber eyes brightened some as she meowed "Would you like to go hunting tomorrow?" she glanced over at Icepaw expectantly.
Rabbitleg deflated a bit at the mention of grieving for Owlstar, the pale brown she-cat bent down and touched noses with Owlstars body, and murmured to the tom "Thank you for your guidance and wisdom. Rest easy in Starclan knowing Morningfeather will defend your clan now." she then stood and headed towards the warriors den. She saw Lightningblades smile and returned it, she slowed, and sat beside him to watch the rest of the clan grieving, she didn't know what to say so she remained quiet.
Owlpaw padded over to Owlstar and pressed her nose into his cold pelt, she hated the scent of mint on a deceased cat, she just wanted to remember their scent. "Goodbye." she murmured, she had been named after Owlstar, and now she felt the weight of having to live up to his image. The speckled gray she-cat nodded to her mentor before heading into the apprentices den.
Minnowtail and Silverleap retired to the warriors den to sleep, they didn't even share tongues like they would've, they just went right to sleep.
