lucifer shrugged his shoulders a little but winced whenever he felt some pain return from an older injury he had recieved. "...there's some chicken in the ice box...you can just heat that up...and that'll be fine."

"alright" lyn got out of bed and walked out of the room. she went downstairs to see if ethiel was awake and to see if he wanted anything.

ethiel woke up from his nap and rubbed his eyes sleepily then looked over at her and shook his head no. "no thanks...how's he doing up there?"

"ok. he's fine. his heart stoped a few times while he was sleeping and he screamed in his sleep but he was fine. i'm fixing him something to eat so if you want something let me know"

|
he shook his head once again then laid back down on the couch and began to fall asleep once again. when lyn returned to lucifer's room, he was pressed against the wall drenched in sweat and was terrified of something she couldn't see.

lyn set the food down quickly and rushed over to lucifer. "lucfier what is it? what's wrong?"
|

|
his mouth struggled to form the words but none of them could be understood. he whimpered slightly then slid down the wall, still staring ahead completely terrified. it was then that she saw a black shadow move. and it was heading straight towards lucifer. before anything could be said or done, the shadow seemed to grab lucifer and entangled itself around him and then disappeared inside of him. for a few seconds it seemed as though lucifer was going to be alright, then the fear returned and he let out the most horrific scream she ever heard in her life. the shadow had possessed his body and was now attacking his mind. lucifer's hands immediately went to his head as he cried out, begging for the creature to leave. he rose to his feet and stumbled around the room, still grasping his head and begging for mercy. whenever he got near his window, all movement stopped. the shadow came out from inside of him and stood, or it appeared to be standing, right in front of him. then with one single movement, lucifer's body jerked back as though a shotgun had been fired directly into his chest, and he fell through the window and crashed below. the shadow moved towards the window and appeared to be looking down at lucifer's still body. a single grunt came from the creature and then it was gone as quickly as it had come.

"lucifer!!" lyn jumped out of the same window lucifer did and landed right beside him. "lucifer, lucifer say something!!" she held him in her arms and felt for a pulse. "come on lucifer, stay with me"

his head rocked to the side and his eyes opened very slightly and looked at her but they were a dull gray which meant that he had lost his sight. a shudder soon over came his body and he began shaking violently. "..p...please...help..."

"what do you want me to do lucifer? tell me please!" lyn started to cry. "hang in there lucifer, you'll make it"
|
|
|
|
his head tilted to the side once again and he sighed deeply then opened his eyes again but this time they were there same dark blue color. "...i...need my bed..." he rolled over onto his side and coughed violently a couple of times then struggled to his feet.

"here, i'll take you back up" lyn picks lucifer up from the ground and jumps back through the window, making sure that she didn't cut him from the broken glass. she layed him on the bed and covered him up. "there we go"
