Please Tell Me...

The station was buzzing with people. Muggle men women and children, all moving this way and that. Families checking tickets, parents waving goodbye, and the lone traveler even, checking for the right platform, obviously backpacking across the continent. Between them all, hoping they went unnoticed, wizarding families moved swiftly toward a magical barrier. One that hid an entirely different platform, and with it, The Hogwarts express.

Molly Weasley closed her eyes as she ran toward the barrier. She appeared perfectly unscathed on the other side of the brick wall. The people around her continued on their way, and the big scarlet train spouted steam beside her, cloaking the platform, and making it seem even more mysterious if only for a moment. The redheaded teen moved to the nearest door, and waved her little sister over. Their parents rushed over too, right on the girl's heels.

"Got all your books?" Audrey Weasley asked her eldest. Molly nodded in response. "Plenty of warm clothing?" Molly nodded again, and her mother reached out to tuck a stay curl back into place.

"Audrey, dear, she will be fine. She didn't get that Head Girl badge for nothing." Percy piped up, saving Molly from her mother torturous questions. She received a big hug, and a kiss, before the woman turned on poor Lucy. The elder daughter turned to her father, cracking a huge smile.

"Make us proud, sweetheart." Percy said, giving the girl a warm enough hug, and smiling at her as if she were the sun that lit up the whole sky. That was one thing about Percy Weasley. His family was always the first and foremost thing on his mind. The way he spoke to his girls, and his wife, the way he reacted when they even walked into the same room as he. It was all so happy, and full of some kind of adoration. Molly had to admit, she admired that about him. There was something about it that seemed over the top though. Like he was trying to fix it, with extra attention.

"Always. Didn't get this Head Girl badge for nothing you know." She reminded him as they broke apart. He smiled even wider at the comment, and then ushered her and her sister onto the train. The two stowed their trunks, and pets, before taking off in opposite directions in the corridor. Lucy off to find her friends, Molly heading toward the prefects car. She adjusted her Head Girl badge nervously, taking a deep breath as she went. This year was either going to be brilliant, or terrible. She could only hope it to be the former.

Georgia was standing on the platform, watching the people rush about. Saying teary goodbyes, happy reunions with friends. The usual sentimental crap. If not for the issue of her new dog bouncing around the platform like a lunatic, she would already be aboard the train. Instead, she had to stand by her belongings, as her father pushed through the crowd to get the dog back. Diva and crowds, did not make for a time efficient mix, apparently.

"You said she would be fine without a leash. Obviously not. Anything else I need to know?" Georgia all but spat at her father, as he made his way back to her, arm held out, wand pointing at the levitating dog. She pulled a leash from the bag on her hip, and attached it to the collar around the pup's neck. She was contemplating going without the thing if she was going to have to be trained completely.

"Do not use that tone with me." Gregory Goyle said. The teenager changed her mood immediately, and said her goodbyes to him, and boarded the train, with that crazy new puppy. She spent most of the train ride alone, unable to find the very few people she actually wanted to be around.

~~~
When they arrived at the school, she got a house elf to take Diva to the common room, as she entered the hall. She took a seat next to a few quidditch teammates, including Scorpius, for the sorting. The first years looked to be a good haul this year. A couple of mean looking kids was exactly what this house needed. Georgia hoped their insides were as tough as their outsides.Not likely.
She turned to the food, and loaded her plate with a slice of roast ham, and a pile of mashed potatoes. She peered around at everyone else. Georgia wasn't exactly a conversation starter, so she was waiting for someone else to do it.
Sophie had quickly said goodbye to the Dahila girl and sprinted to the Gryfindor table where Peeves was waiting for her. "Hey listen. Have you learned anything?" He said from his seat on the floor and she nodded, stifling a laugh as the Husky dog jumped through him and sat at her feet. "Sure i have. I can still change my hair and i can turn into a snake. I can also change parts of me into animals." She smiled and he smiled back.
"We need to figure out if you can change into a ghost." Sophie pondered this for a moment and shrugged. "But i would still be alive. I wouldn't be able to go through walls. Floating sure." They both grimaced.
Sam kissed his mother's cheek and lingered in her arms as he said good bye again for the new school year. He shook his step-father's hand. The man had a firm grasp even though they were family. Not to mention he looked a little pale. Maybe it was the magic all around them, so real. He always said it was just fairytale stuff. Sam moved to the carriage and poked the small three year old. "Lucky brat..." He whispered to the child, who just giggled innocently. Then he waved to his parents one last time before he boarded the train.
Sam had a rolling suitcase with a shoulder bag wrapped around the rods that slid out to help it roll. On top of the shoulder bag set a kindle. His father just didn't get it that animals were allowed to be out on the train. Once they were in their own compartment, he would open the cage. Until then, every now and then the small white cat would give a little meow of protest. He wanted to sooth her, but didn't since she would so be out any way.
Sam put his luggage away and looked for an empty compartment. Princess walked next to his ankles. She had the habit of weaving around his legs. If he wasn't used to it, he probably would have fallen. He stopped when he saw a compartment with Scorpius and another pretty girl, Pandora. He entered the silent compartment and smiled. "And so a new year begins." He commented.
The ride moved quickly. Sam didn't say much, which was odd for him. He was thinking, testing the waters. Could these Slytherins really be trusted? Would they make a good army? Perhaps, he just had to find the right words to say.
As the castle came into view of the train, Sam went to change. Just in time for them to arrive at the castle. The train stopped and Sam left the others behind. He had too much on his mind it would seem. Though he would never admit it, he was nervous. So much was relying on his next move. One toe out of line and he was going straight to Azkaban for the rest of his life. He sighed to himself at the thought. He had better not mess up.
Sam took to a lonely carriage and waited. He could see the thestrals, as he suspected he would now. Not for any truly dark reason. No, a man had had a violent seizure while at work. Sam had been visiting his mother. He died as Sam tried to hold him still. It haunted his mother, but Sam supposed it was just a vision of what was to come.
The ride up the the school was a quiet one. Sam entered the Great Hall quickly. He ended up sitting towards the back, watching. A girl walked up, muttering about not seeing him on the train. Ah, his "girlfriend". He wrapped an arm around her for the time being. It was over as soon as the feast began.
User Image Aaron rubbed a hand over his face as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. He had just changed into his uniform. He glanced around and then opened his mouth. His freaking canines were sharper. "Great..." He muttered. This would be his first year back as an animagus. He really hoped to keep it a secret, but he still didn't even have it all under control. His older sister Kissa and his older brother Zack had taught him some control, but neither really knew much on the subject. Now all three had to find a way to turn him back normal, and keep the secret hidden.
Aaron shook his head and went back to his compartment. He couldn't face the other Gryffindors yet. They would know something was wrong. He had managed to snag an empty compartment earlier, and no one had sought him out. He sighed and sunk low into the seat. He put a hand over his face and frowned deeper. Maybe this year would go by quickly. He doubted it, as his other hand played with the Head Boy badge. It had to be some kind of bad joke. He grasped it tighter. This was insane.
When they arrived to get in the carriages, Aaron nearly had a panic attack. Thestrals. He had never seen them before. How? He hadn't seen anyone die. Unless it was on that night he couldn't remember. That made everything so much worse. He had to know what happened. After a teacher had calmed him, and Aaron had come up with a lame excuse that was half truth and half lie, he ended up in a carriage with other Gryffindors. He listened to their stories, able to relax a little. They seemed nervous to say too much with him being head boy. Aaron had laughed it off, saying he knew how to keep secrets. He told them to be more careful and not break all the rules in one night.
By the time he got to the Great Hall, he was feeling more like himself. He sat among friends, laughing for the first time in months. Everything would work out. He was sure of that now that he sat here among so many smiling faces he knew and cared for.
Sophie was busy talking to Peeves when her husky had went wandering, finding his way to where Aaron was sitting. "But if you think about it, i can always..." Her hand brushed air as she reached down to stroke her husky. "Hey where has he - Oh not again." Her advanced eyesight quicky spotted the now purple husky dog sitting at the boys feet. A frown creased her brow as she observed the boy. Something seemed similar but she couldn't think what...
"Come on Peeves. I need him back." She said and quickly jogged to where he was sitting. "Sorry for the dog at your feet." She said simply before tapping it on it's head, making it look up at her. "Why are you here for. You only follow Animagus' silly. Now maybe we should change your fur back." She pursued her lips and shook her head, letting her hair fall back into it's normal blond/brown waves. The dogs fur slowly turned to white. "Thank you. Normal for a change." She flashed a smile at Aaron. "Later." She said simply before walking out the main hall, her husky and Peeves following her. A group of year 4 slytherin's blocked her path and she simply snorted before pushing them out her way. "Oh stop being a road block." She snapped and quickly exited the hall as Peeves dropped a stink bomb on them and followed her, cackling.
Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy
Proud to be a Slytherin
MalfoyScorpius has greeted both Pandora and Sam as they had come into the carriage with him, but he had been reading one of his school books for the whole ride. He would usually say something to someone, but he really needed to study. This year was going to be big for him and he didn't know why he thought it. Seeing Hogwarts, he packed up his bag and left the train with the rest of the train.
MalfoyThestrals. Creepy. Beautiful. Haunting. Scorpius had no idea why he liked them. They were one of his favorite magical creatures that he had ever seen, though he wasn't glad he could see them. Scorpius took a carriage with a few younger Slytherins but didn't talk to them. He just looked out the window until one of them touched him as the carriage jerked to the side and he snapped at them like the dog that he was.
MalfoyThe Great Hall towered over him as he sat, smiling with his fellow Slytherins. Grabbing some turkey and some bread, he began to make a hasty turkey sandwich before he quickly fed himself as much as he could reach, happy to be eating Hogwarts food, which, even though he is wealthy, is better then the food at him that his 2 house elves make.
Malfoy"Sam!" Scorpius called out to the seventh year Slytherin. Going up to him after Scorpius had eaten, he sat down in an open spot infront of Sam. "You gonna try Quidditch this year?" He asked with a grin.
User Image User Image Felix had sat alone on the train, trying to control his tears. He liked being alone so it was alright. Once they reached the carriages, he got in with no worries. He couldn't see the creatures, and was very happy with that. They were probably creepy. He reached into his pocket for maybe the millionth time, just to make sure Snickers was still there.
Felix went pale, well more pale. His eyes went wide and tears brimmed within them. Snickers was gone. "No, no, no!" Felix cried, searching every pocket he had for the little troublesome ferret. It was gone. Snickers was gone. He hung his head and started to sniffle. The ferret was going to get him in trouble, he could already see it. It was too late now though. The carriages were moving. A small whimpering sound escaped the boy as they drew closer to Hogwarts.
User Image Snickers was indeed causing trouble in the worse ways. This time he had decided to sneak into Scorpius Malfoy's bag. When the house elves came to move the bags, Snickers escaped. Though there was the yell of him being a rat instead. Snickers ran.
Felix looked like he had cried the entire ride in the carriage. He wiped the tears, but his eyes were red and puffy while his cheeks were still stained a bit with tear drops. He ran into the Great Hall. He crawled on his hands and knees as he searched the Hufflepuff table. "Snickers!" He called under the table, still not seeing the little ferret. He stood just in time to watch Snickers come bounding in.
The ferret jumped onto the Slytherin table. At which point he was swatted at and a few curses sent his way. Felix was so shocked he couldn't move. The ferret jumped and landed on the Ravenclaw table. Oh no. This table he was a little faster on. Thankfully the food wasn't out yet. The ferret yet again leaped into the air. This time, landing safely in Felix's arms. The ferret was home, but the death glares were really helping.
Dahlia Belle Longbottom
lI'm through acceptingl { limits } lcause someone says their sol xxxxx
Dahlia had said her good-byes to Sophie and made her way off the train. She got knocked into by a few Slytherins. She wanted to punch them in the head, but she let it go after taking a few deep breaths. She caught a glimpse of Hagrid and smirked. She wondered if Featherstone had made her way here. She shrugged her shoulders figuring the creature was still too young to venture off the grounds. Making her way to the carriages and climbed into one. She looked back and met eyes She was greeted by younger Hufflepuffs. They conversed, but no one really brought up the fact that she was a Longbottom. She sighed happy that for once, no one was asking her about her father or mentioning how clumsy she was like him.
As the carriage moved, Dahlia looked to the forest wondering if she would catch a glimpse of Featherstone's silhouette. "I'll see her soon," She thought to herself. She smiled when the carriage stopped and enjoyed talking with fellow housemates.
When she got to the Great Hall finally, she spotted her parents sitting at the head table, sitting next to each other. She looked for Alice knowing her older sister was a little upset with them. Instead, she saw some other Hufflepuffs who were closer to Alice's age. The one who stuck out to her the most was Felix. They had not really talked that much, but he was on the Quidditch Team and so was Alice, so she had to get to know him eventually. She went to take her seat when she and her father locked eyes. She smiled at him while he made a small smile at her. He nudged her mother and she lifted her head to see her. Dahlia's smile grew wider as she went to sit beside Felix, but before she sat down, her eyes wandered around the different table. She faced forward and wondered who was Head Boy and Girl this year. She looked back to the entrance of the Great Hall wondering where Alice was. She sighed and looked at everyone who was sitting around her. "How is you?" She asked looking at Felix. She had walked in right before the incident with his ferret, so she was completely clueless. Taking in people's glares, she rolled her eyes. "They shouldn't stare. Don't worry Felix. Forget them. Your pet is safe now." She patted his shoulder and smiled a little trying to get him not to cry again.
                                            The train ride was rather dull, even if she did get to sit in the same compartment with both Scorpius and Sam. Neither of them were talkers, and she didn't want to start up the conversation. Actually, she had tried once or twice the enitre ride there, but she had been given the types of answers that indicated they wanted to be left alone, or was ignored completely. So she had settled for stroking her cat the entire way there. Even when the trolley came by she didn't bother to get anything, mostly because she was too embarassed to eat anything in front of two guys that she was crushing on. When they got off the train it was to the threstrals, which wasn't anything special. She couldn't see them either though, which was awkward for someone in Slytherin. But she hadn't ever witnessed any deaths or killed anyone.
                                            The Great Hall feast looked and smelled delicious, as usual. It was even better because they received a few tough blokes into their house this year. The only one that didn't quite meet requirements was one wiry boy with pale eyes and red hair. He didn't even look typical of the house, but the hat must have put him in there for a reason. She didn't think much about it aside from what he had that was so special. She had got in thanks to her exceedingly pure blood. It was that and the fact that no other house seemed to want her except Gryffindor, and she would have rather killed herself than have gone into such a slacker house. Everyone ther was a lazy troublemaker in her eyes, so Slytherin it was! She gave herself several liberal helpings of food that she had no intention of eating. Always with the figure of course. As she picked at her food, Dora looked around to see who was nearby. One chair to the left and across was Georgia Goyle, and several seats down she spied Scorpius and Sam. They were within hearing distance, but she didn't want to listen in. Instead she would talk to Georgia, which was far more acceptable.
                                            "Hello Georgia," she said over the noise. "Enjoying dinner?"
User Image Aaron looked down as something bumped into his leg. It was probably a cat, but they tended to avoid him since he became a dog. To his surprise it was a husky. It was almost as surprising as the fact that the pup was purple. How strange.
Aaron picked up the small puppy. "Hello, little friend." He whispered to the pup with a laugh. A girl came running up with strange hair herself. She apologized for the small dog. Aaron laughed a little again, handing the puppy to her. "No worries." Aaron said, his accent closer to an American than a Brit. He had spent the entire summer over seas and picked up their accent. Mostly to make everyone stop making fun of his English accent.
The girl, who he recognized as she turned her hair back normal as Sophie, scolded the pup. When she muttered about him only following animagus, Aaron felt his smile falter just a little. Damn. He would have thought of something to say, but she didn't seem to realize her words. He was alright with that. They both were normal again and heading for the door. Aaron watched them go with a sigh. That could have gone a lot worse. He shrugged to the group around him, returning to their previous conversation.
Sam watched the new recruits. Not a bad pick this year. The feast began, which meant he let go of the girl in his arms. He told it was over, that she should go find someone else. Of course, this sent her running out of the room in tears. Why did they always cry? They should have known by now what they were getting into. Sam had never had a relationship last longer than a month. Especially not with a Slytherin girl. He hadn't even written Tina over the break. Girls could be so stupid.
Sam looked up as Scorpius called to him. "Seems you are ready to talk now." Sam teased the other Slytherin who had had his nose stuck in a book most of the way here. Sam shrugged at the question. "Perhaps. Needing new recruits?" Sam questioned, though he knew they had lost a lot of members who had graduated last year. However, Sam wasn't sure if time would allow him something as simple as Quidditch.
Sam smiled at Scorpius. "If you become desperate, I can fill a spot. This year I I have to take what I can from this school. Last chance." He said, sounding so sure of himself. Though no one knew of his plans, he had already been stirring up rumors of the dark lord's return. Some people were just so easy to use. The fools in Diagon Alley were easy to twist to his desires. "Have you heard the rumors?" He asked in a smaller voice. His expression didn't change, but he kept his words hushed.
                                          Pollux suffered the indignity of waking up three times earlier than anyone else. He knew it would happen though since it had happened every year since he was eleven. That year had been horrible since he had hardly packed and wasn't ready. He hadn't missed the bus or anything, but he sure did get yelled at, plus, his parents wouldn't see him off to the train. This year he had packed everything the night before. The only things out were his wizarding robes and the street clothes he would don until he got on the Hogwarts Express. He got up lazily and stretches his body out. The first thing he did was run into the bathroom to take his morning shower. Some people liked to shower at night, but he liked to shower in the morning. The water was adjusted to be on the burning side as he liked nice hot showers. The usual oatmeal soap was used, exfoliating his skin for him. And the home bottles of apple scented shampoo and conditioner were used to clean out his hair. When he finished in the shower, Pollux stepped out and toweled off before heading back to his room. His clothes were already laid out the night before, so he only had to get dressed. When he was fully clothed he slipped on a pair of white socks and his DC skate shoes. Even though no one in the magical world would care or notice the name brand, he liked to look stylish in the Muggle world too. That was where he was two months out of his entire life these days, so it seemed appropriate to at least try to impress them a little whenever he had to replace anything. And now he didn't have to replace much since he wasn't home enough to care what others thought of his attire. Name-brand pretty much went to the dogs unless it was something he had received for Christmas or several years ago. Things were just too expensive outside of Hogsmead and London.
                                          The blonde headed back to the bathroom and brushed his hair until it was how he wanted it to dry. Next he cleaned his piercing and put it back in, having no desire to hide it. Now it had been a long shot getting his parents to agree to let him have it, but he managed to strike a deal with them about grades and such. He had received enough O.W.L.s that they had given him the piercing as a reward all of a couple weeks ago. It was still pretty new so he couldn't take it out for anything but cleaning the ring and the sore. It stung a little as he dabbed it with peroxide, but the flame settled to a dull numb within seconds. He put the piercing back in and brushed his teeth. Now he was finished and just had to go get Anarchy ready. Pollux went back into his room and found the chain tied to the last leg of his bed. He followed it under the bed, actually pushing his upper body beneath the bed, to find a white puppy sleeping. He pulled on the chain a few times and called in a falsetto voice, which awoke his sleeping hound. The white puppy bounded out from under the covers, pulling the chain from his hands in a painful manner. He tried to get back out but ended up getting stuck. For several minutes he was pulling and pushing, trying to gain some leverage to get out. It wasn't until he sucked in just a half inch more that he was able to wriggle back out. With a spiteful glare he looked at the puppy chewing on the leg of the bed. With a click the dog was released and was tearing through the house. He took the chain from the bed and headed out with his trunk. Today was going to be a good day, he just knew it.
                                          His mom was waiting for him downstairs, already dressed for work and everything. She had let the dog out for him, which was good. Anarchy was still young, and had been a present for him since he had passed his O.W.L.s. She clicked her good on the tile, willing him to hurry up already. He obeyed and exited the house where he had to chase the dog around the lawn to get her back on a leash. They all loaded up in the jeep and headed to the train station. His mom escourted him to platform nine, which was as far as she could go. Muggle weren't allowed inside, so he would have to say his goodbyes now. He gave his mom a bear hug, feeling her cry into his shoulder. She didn't like him going away any more than he wanted to be away from her. They embraced for a few minutes before she straightened up and acted as though nothing had happened. She gave him a pat on the back and handed him a paper sack that had his lunch for the day in it. They never wanted him spending money on sweets from the trolley, but not for bad reason. He entered the platform and headed to the train. Everything was still pretty dark as he was one of the first ones on. Typically, he headed to one of the last sections. It took over an hour for the train to start, but the ride to Hogwarts was pretty short. He got off and had to face the thestrals. He couldn't see them or anything, but the idea of them creeped him out. He reluctantly got on the carriage, not even close to thrilled about the long ride. When everyone was loaded up, or so he assumed, the carriage lurched forward. The ride was bumpy, but they got there safely enough. As he got off he imagined their ghastly meal for the night. It would consist of raw, bloody meat. How far of a step was it between animal meat and human meat? He didn't want to find out, so he rushed off quickly.
                                          Inside the building they were all given brief instructions and guided to the Great hall. There, they were all seated at their tables. He managed to spot Felix without to much difficulty, but didn't notice the ferret's acrobatics. Pollux slipped in the seat next to his friend, the chair creaking slightly under his weight, but knew something was up when his presence hadn't even been noted. He forced himself to look the same place where Felix was looking and slowly caught on to the small rodent making its way back home. The lecture from McGonagall was boring and quick, so it was time to eat in no time. Luckily it appeared that Felix had got his pet back. Sadly, he could already feel the glares that their table was receiving. As the commotion had already begun, he had no shame in speaking loudly. Of course, before he could say a word, some girl, Dahlia or Daisy something, came running over to comfort Felix. She was plenty nice and took good care of his condition, so he assigned himself to getting rid of any lingering stares.
                                          "What!" he yelled, flexing his neck so his head made a sharp movement out and in. "Eat your food or speak up already!"
                                          Anyone smart listened because at this point no one questioned whether he would get up and fight. Despite being a Hufflepuff, people didn't mess with Pollux and get off scot free.
                                          He turned back around to look at Felix. "You okay man?" he asked, concerned about a crying fit this early in the year.
Delilah's mother had woken her up. It wasn't easy for Delilah to get out of bed because she was usually sleeping off the lack of sleep she had the day before. She showered and double checked her trunk and bag for the trip back to school. Captain Amazing was in his cage and was sleeping. Lazy bird.
Delilah had fallen asleep on the train. Her last year at Hogwarts and she falls asleep on the train. By the time she had woken up the train had arrived. It wasn't a sad day when she stepped off the train. She gathered her books and headed towards the carriage. She quickly got in one of the last ones and felt it begin to move.
She smiled as the castle came into view. It was beautiful like always. The carriage stopped and Delilah got out. Some time passed and Delilah stood in the doorway of the Great Hall. She was running late and was looking for some friends to eat with. She stood there for a moment before moving towards the Gryffindor table. She sat next to other seventh years and began to eat. Oh this was the good life.
