A cat and mouse chase eh? Rangiku thought to herself. A smirk grew on her lips before she dashed forward following the Arrancar. Using shunpo she was able to speed up right behind him. The woman glanced down at Seireitei feeling spiritual pressure flood the area. She cursed under her breath and reached upwards grabbing a fist full of the Arrancar's blood red hair and yanked it backwards hard. Giving her just enough motion to tackle the man into the ground. Yes, although she was a skilled warrior, her blunt ways of fighting were legendary.

Quickly the vixen pulled him up behind a large pillar by his collar. "Can't you hide that effing spiritual pressure of yours!?" She whispered angerly not too happy that their actions had caught the attention of the other Captains. Her Zanpakuto was already sheathed as she hunched over, watching the Captains make their way past them. Rangiku held her breath and glanced back down at the man.

"...Ah...I don't want them stealing my prey." She whispered as an excuse for her spontaneous actions. The Soul Reaper didn't waste any time trying to sneak away. Rangiku grabbed him roughly by the arm and dragged her 'victim' away, not wanting the others to interrupt their battle. She had successfully captured the mouse.

It was hard for her to suddenly hide her own reiatsu, but none the less she tried. The woman was more concerned about hiding her new play toy at the moment, shoving him into a dark alley. You know, the type of alley that screamed 'horrible things have and will continue to happen' there. She stood there in silence, covering his mouth with her hand, occasionally looking around making sure no spies were slinking about.

Ichigo halted, a tad shocked. Rangiku's reiatsu suddenly disappeared, causing him to suddenly think the worst had happened. He raced toward the spot from where he had last picked up her spiritual pressure then glanced around frantically. "...N...No...That's impossible..." He muttered his golden eyes widening in fear.

"Rangiku!!!!" He cried out before falling to his knees with the look of agony on his face. "There's not even a body left, the b*****d must have disintegrated her completely!" He coughed up the words, his voice shaking with anger as he tightened his fists.

Ichigo didn't bother to realize the area looked perfectly untouched, obviously a battle to the death, did not happen here. But being one for drama, he over reacted and begun to cry tragically over the loss of his dear boobs friend. Pulling a rock over to himself, to act as a grave stone, he started building a memorial.

"I can still smell her fragrant perfume, see her in that A-class bikini, feel that perfect cleavage that could melt any man, see her in that A-class bikini..." He felt the need to mention it twice, as he already started mourning her death. Standing back up, he brushed a hand through his hair and took a deep breath. "Alright, let's go hunt down that Arrancar! Rangiku's death will not be in vain!" He announced posing heroically. By the looks of it, this was a tragic death of a friend Ichigo would recover quickly over.

»» Yukiko almost passed her captain altogether as she was running, skidding to a halt just in time to hear his declaration of Rangiku's death. She examined the surrounding area. "Um...Kurosaki-Taichou....I do not think she is dead." She said as she walked over to stand next to her now standing captain. "There is no evidence that points to a fight, let alone that fact that there is no body. We would have felt a fluctuate in spiritual pressure if the enemy had used an attack that was meant to obliterate her body entirely, and the surrounding area would have been damaged as well. Perhaps she was knocked out, and dragged away? Or maybe she is hiding from us?"

"Was the memorial really necessary sir?" She asked glancing at the stone structure, her captain could be a bit, well, over dramatic at times. "Shall we split up and look for them?" She asked, glancing at the possible directions they could have gone, up, onto the roof? left, back towards where she and her captain had come from? right, the direction they were facing? forward, in to a winding hallway? back, through a dingy looking alley?...down, into the ground? She ruled out the last one, they would have been able to see signs of an underground escape. "I am going to go this way," She said pointing back, it was the most logical to look in, bad guys liked dark places right? And an alley would be a good hiding place. Cautiously, she began to creep down the alley, her hand reaching back to rest on her sword hilt, in case of an attack.

"Hiding from us, what are you implying girl? Obviously, if she wasn't killed then she was captured." Ichigo replied following his lieutenant reluctantly. They reached some empty alley ways but in vain. He glanced around, not seeing nor sensing any presence. "If he's a hollow, then I doubt he would have taken her further into Seireitei, we should check Rukongai, he's probably making his escape." He grunted alittle annoyed of searching around in this dump.

"As much as I love wild goose chases, lets go check out some more logical area's." Ichigo said wheeling the girl around in the other direction. He glanced up at the maze like walls and winced. "...This isn't good...I don't remember how to get out of here..." He mumbled scratching his head. "...I blame you. Now we'll never find the damsel in distress." He sighed picking a path and trudged along.

Ichigo kept an eye on Yukiko as they walked through the labyrinth. This wasn't the sort of place for kids. Which is how he saw her. "Look, let's just stay here and wait for the others, I'm sure they'll know how to get out of here." He said crossing his arms and leaned against the wall waiting for everyone to catch up. "If the hollow makes an escape, he'll need a vast amount of spiritual pressure to get out. We'll attack when we can lock onto his energy again."

After dashing away at top speed, Rangiku shoved the Arrancar through a door. She quickly shut it, careful not to be heard, then walked over to a small wooden door on the ground. It led to the underground chambers of Soul Society.

The woman casually kicked him through the dark opening then followed after him, climbing down the ladder ofcorse. "We should be safe from being interrupted here, hollows are unaware of this area, so they won't bother checking these underground chambers." She said before letting out a sigh of relief. That was a close one. Just before she had escaped, she could hear Ichigo's voice. "That was way too close, and you were no help at all." She snapped suddenly blaming the Arrancar.

"None the less, we should keep moving, now that Seireitei is on alert they'll stop at nothing to hunt you down." She brushed a hand through her long hair ignoring the blunt fact that the reason they were on alert was because of her sudden disappearance. The chamber's were dark and cold, a dreadful area to be sneaking around in. Clearly Rangiku had a morbid taste for picking out hiding places.

Normally this area would have terrified her...If she wasn't already standing next to a monster. She shivered feeling a blast of icy air blow past her. "Nnngg...Not exactly how I imagined my day was going to end." She stuttered bitterly, hugging herself as she walked forward down a dark tunnel.

She paused, blinded by the darkness. Reaching up she lightly touched the wall next to her, needing support to guide her down the dreary chamber. "You okay back there?" She asked knowing those who venture alone down here tend to die off quick. The catacombs could drive any man crazy, lost, starved and blind. The deeper they went, the less of a chance they stood at getting out.

Thankfully, Rangiku was used to using these underground area's to sneak around, frequently, hiding from her own Captain. So this was nothing new for her, although she was concerned with her little mouse. Her eyes tried to adjust to the black abyss surrounding her, but failed. "Tch, normally there are fire torch's around here..." She grumbled not too pleased at this vulnerable feeling that pulsed through her body. Experience told her to keep going straight though. It wouldn't be long now before they reached the tunnel that would lead them safely out of Seireitei.

Things where moving fast, not that this bothered the Arrancar too much. The girl that had found him was getting rather pushy over things, even the fact that she had actually catch him almost effortlessly. Then again he wasn't really even trying, he had simply wanted to get to Seireitei, so whether it was through a game of 'tag' or through the underground caverns of Soul Society, it didn't seem to bother him/. He disregarded all that the female said, a hand running against the wall of this place that was oh so familiar to him. After all Bakuya had been a cleaner in his days previous to these, so this place was like a home to him. A place he had sort of wanted to venture back into if he had the chance and here he was walking in it, following a girl who he could easily tell where she was trying to guide him. "Don't get lost" he said to her cheekily as he walked ahead of him. He waited until the nearest pathway opened before slinking into it, walking his own way- heading straight for the center of Seireitei through the way he knew. Obviously the girl would follow him, but that was fine. It'd be a wonder as to whether or not she understood that he knew where he was going, rather than going in some random direction in hopes of finding a deep one into Seireitei.

Picking up his pace after sometime he started to sonido through the tunnels, moving right and left quickly as to escape the female that was pursuing him. Had he actually been in the mood to fight the feline she would have been battered beyond recognition. But that wasn't his style unless it was needed, for the time being it was just a trivial thing that barely passed his mind as he sprinted forward before stopping at a nearby opening to the world above. Grabbing at the opening, he slowly slid it off before heading into the light once more. His reiastu spilling out crazily around him as he stared at the area he had stumbled into. It was still fairly tame for him and he'd keep it like that throughout the visit as he walked through the grassy area he had stumbled into. The 6th divisions area was a nice place to start, after all- it was one of those places he had always ventured to when it came down to just hanging out with some of the more proper men of society. If this place had changed then he knew that the rest would change in turn, the nobility of the house spoke for itself. Glancing over the area towards the main house where the captain would be, he wondered exactly who was the captain now, musing silently to himself as he passed by the front as if he was a well known visitor before turning away.

No the place he needed to check out above all would be, the first division headquarters, after all it was the most important. Making his way there, he seemed to not care that he was a blip on the radar for all surrounding soul reapers, nor did he care that his actions seemed to be completely out of character to how hollows and the like operated. It was like he had a mind, but it just seemed to be wandering aimlessly without much reason. Not that any soul reaper here would know what was going through his mind, after all he hadn't killed anyone- well unless you go with Rangiku who happened to be underground right now, the hidden reiatsu tricking everyone- so as far as things went he seemed like a weak enemy that was just jumping around like a wild rabbit. That was fine with him personally, he wasn't here to fight, but to observe.

She wasn't sure how much time passed. Probably a minute or two. Then her prey decided it'd be fun to loose her, causing the woman to lower her face listening to the spaced sprints he was making. She couldn't catch up to him, not in this darkness, but she could follow the echoed steps. She dashed forward blindly following him, or at least did her best to keep up. It wasn't long before she lost track of his movements.

She slowed her pace, pausing to catch her breath. These were unfamiliar tunnels she was venturing through. Instead of going away from the Seireitei, they we're moving towards the heart of it. "The hell?" Rangiku walked slowly towards a small opening.

Light from above pierced threw it, revealing the way she assumed he had gotten out. She took a breath. Leaping upwards and pulling herself up, she jumped out from the hole. Rangiku glanced back at the small opened entrance then bent down, sliding the top back over it. Her silky hair slid from her shoulders as she stood back out feeling her spiritual pressure leek back out because of the high stress she was feeling on the inside.

Rangiku was gifted with quick reflexes and hand-eye coordination, so for him to keep escaping her grasp meant he was obviously a worthy foe. The thought of fighting him on a one on one battle excited her, but not if it meant he'd continue to hold back. She had never thought of herself as a weakling. In fact with the whole god-complex, she considered herself perfect. Grief came out from within her in waves. When she was with her companions, she never had to stand alone, always had their help. How was she to know the extent of her own strength if she never got the chance to prove herself?

Her thoughts wondered back to the Arrancar. Promising to herself that she'd be the one to take him down, he was her prey. But her fighting spirit died down in a sense that she wasn't wanting to kill him just to purify him. No, she wanted to test herself, match her power up against his. To reassure herself, that she wasn't weak. Rangiku clenched her fists tightly by her sides, glaring down at the Seireitei.

Loosing, was taboo for her whether it was loosing a fight, or a friend. The heart broken vixen had lost both once. Staying as the Lieutenant of the 10th Division, served no purpose in helping her get stronger. Rangiku couldn't see herself ever getting to reach a higher level. When a chance was given, the level in which she grew was always strictly set for her beforehand. She had never craved for more power, until now. Looking up at the sky, ignoring the other presences around her, she could almost feel the beat of a new song playing in her head.

Turning her attention back to the situation at hand, Rangiku flew upwards. The tall walls snaked around the buildings preventing her to get a good look of where her mouse darted off to. She leaped past the massive stoned entrance with ease, landing back onto the ground of the Seireitei. She winced suddenly feeling his reiatsu in the air, unconsciously she locked onto it and tore off in that direction. Determined to reach her prey before the other Captains could get a hold of him. Or perhaps it was better to say, Rangiku was the prey seeking out her predator. Not that she'd ever admit to that aloud. None the less, she refused to let anyone get in her way.

»» Yukiko glared at the taller man, "Well, boy," she bit back with a little venom. "Captured or not, we need to find her." She said with a frown. She greatly disliked when her captain treated her like a child. In this life time, she was only a few years younger. In her past life, she had been decades older than him, so it all evened out to technically around the same age. "Oh dear, you might not get to play the hero." She said with sarcasm as she turned and walked down the hall, ending up, after a few lefts and rights, in an open courtyard.

She recognized her surroundings as near the first division. Suddenly, a flare of Rangiku's spiritual pressure made her look around, it was close and faint. "Kurosaki-Taichou, I believe that if the hollow were to escape, they would get away before we can stop them, considering we do not know where they are, and that means that Rangiku-Chan will be completely kidnapped," She said blandly. She was still assuming that her fellow lieutenant was captured.

Grimmjow didn't waste time following Ichigo at that point. He had a better idea; follow the aberrant spiritual pressure of the Hollow, rather than the hidden pressure of the Lieutenant that was apparently in proximity to her. That orange-haired idiot probably didn't know where the ******** he was going, and the hell if Grimmjow was gonna waste his time.

He was too edgy about this Hollow. It felt stronger...menos class. That was dangerous, especially with how close to the heart of the Seireitei he could feel this person--

Ah, and there it was. Now the reiatsu was going haywire-nuts.

Fortunately, he was near enough to the Sixth Division to cut the Hollow off eventually.

"Hey you," he called, cutting the man off before he could walk any further. "You...don't belong here."

He did not move, just cut the Hollow off...no. The Arrancar.

s**t...where's his rank?

Now he really had to be careful. Captain-level or not...this was an Arrancar, and it was stronger than anything he'd ever felt. Starrk had been nothing compared to this guy. Fortunately, Grimmjow had grown in experience and power, and he had no fear.

Shinji had been following both Ichigo and Grimmjow for some time, until the captains split. His gaze darted from the reckless, bright-haired shinigami to the irate bluenette. Which one to follow...?

"Ah, hell." Ichigo was always getting into trouble, but he also always got himself out of it. Besides, Grimmjow seemed to be heading in the direction of the stronger reiatsu, which likely meant he was heading in the direction of the intruder. Shooting a glance behind him to make sure Aizen hadn't run off while he wasn't looking, Shinji darted off after the Eleventh Division captain.

What greeted the blonde when he finally came to an abrupt halt, a short distance behind Grimmjow, was not at all what he'd expected. He'd had it in his head that it was some hybrid freak left over from Aizen's experiments, or a naturally-empowered hollow with enough reiatsu to cause a panic. As he grew closer to the target, however, and even now, standing in front of him, Shinji realized they were up against something a bit more.

"What's this?" he muttered under his breath, Aizen's whereabouts temporarily blanking from his mind as he focused in on the lone figure that had seemed, at first, only a minor threat. His fingers wrapped firmly around Sakanade's hilt-- more in a reassurance to himself rather than an outward threat to his enemy-- and he stepped forward, eyes narrowed and lips pulled down in a wide frown. "Who the hell are you?"

Rangiku halted before turning around the next corner. She leaned forward, peeking around the wall observing the other captain's and her arrancar. Glaring, the woman bit down on her lower lip feeling rather annoyed at all the unnecessary attention he was bringing to himself. She dashed forward, and turned around to face the captains, standing in between them and her newest rival. "Back off, I already claimed him." She warned. Rangiku narrowed her crystal eyes threateningly.

Normally she was loyal to the captains, and knew her place. It sure as hell wasn't ordering them around. But Rangiku saw Grimmjow as a threat, stepping onto her territory. She glanced over at Shinji with a sympathetic look, not paying attention to whom was following him. "Forgive me of my blunt actions, but I'm fighting him myself." She said, not asking for permission. She looked back at Grimmjow before smirking mischievously.

Placing a hand lightly on the sheath of her Zanpakuto, she unsheathed her blade. The vixen slowly turned her back on them, and swung the sword out forward sharply. "Growl, Haineko." With a flick of her wrist, the blade turned to ash, and swept up behind Rangiku creating a massive wave of force to slam down in between her and the captains.

The woman turned her attention back to her toy. "We're gonna have to make this quick, I'm going to get quite an earful for getting in the way like this." She whined itching the back of her head. Letting out a sigh, the persistent Lieutenant shot upwards at the man before flicking the hilt to the side, causing ash to suddenly surround his body. The wind sharply picked up speed as it spun around him entrapping him into one of her cyclones. Rangiku swung to the right, making the ash tear into him. "If you want to survive, I suggest fighting back."

[Sorry for the wait. I was waiting to see if others would post...]

Quite a bit of people had come to him, confronting him and stopping his advance so early. Tsk tsk. This wasn't apart of his plan at all.

It was quite understandable that once an enemy stepped into the Seireitei that the place would be ablaze with mobilized teams to oppose the threat. Considering he was a lone threat, not intent on really damaging the place it- it was understandable to his twisted mind that there was no need for any forces with him. No need for other hollows to follow in his footsteps, but if that was needed- he would gladly bring that about. Considering his original objective, he couldn't help but eye each and everyone that had come here to fight with him. "I'd rather not... he stated plainly, either due to the fact that those there he didn't see as valid fighters or that he simply wished to get done with his own business before doing something as silly as fighting. With the advance of the female he hadn't left behind, her blade splitting into the ash that it was coming towards him with the female in tow. She came extremely close to splitting hairs, but fell short. His presence vanishing in an instant, his position changing to atop the nearest building. He hadn't used sonido to bypass the attack, but had rather teleported straight out of the way. Something he hadn't wished to show, but regardless it was better than letting the other's gauge his strength through a strike at the female. "Persistant girl..." he spoke with a touch of venom finally slipping into his words.

Without trying very much, he forced the area behind him open to a garganta. Within seconds a few hollows spilled out, enough for 2 to each of those there. Indeed he was in no mood to fight now, the girl would either have to push him completely out of his comfort zone or his 'mission' would have to fulfilled before he left. Glancing at them all, he leapt away- off to check the place in a hurried manner due to circumstances.

True to his half-expectantness, Ayano followed after him, her arms hidden in her robes.
