“Take your hands sure thing~” Raiden replied as he took the hands of the young woman with the pretty mesmerizing eyes. A bright friendly smile still plastered on the young man’s face as he stared back at the young woman. Unable to keep himself from gazing back into her eyes, they were mesmerizing after all how could he not? Then again this was Raiden, staring awkwardly at people without realizing how creepy it might be was something he tended to do anyway. As soon as the young woman pointed out the three pokemon that were apparently there for him to pick from. “Awesome! Thank you miss~” the young man replied grinning at Eliza in thanks before skipping over to the three pokemon. They were all honestly the cutest things he had ever seen and though Psychic wasn’t one of his favorite types of pokemon he couldn’t help. But find both the Munna and Espurr absolute adorable just like the Sableye was. It was almost as if he wasn’t quiet able to see how somewhat creepy they were. It was so hard for him to choose that the young man had to stand there for a moment before he finally was able to make his decision. The Sableyes grin winning the young man’s heart in the end.

“Hey there buddy lets be friends” Raiden said warmly as he knelt down by the gem pokemon picking the guy right up off the ground like he intended to carry the Sableye around in his arms the whole time. Luckily it seemed as if the Sableye had a bit more sense than his new trainer did as the pokemon dropped its pokeball into his hand expectantly. “Right got it, Jett” The young man replied picking the name that he thought suited the male stableye well, Jett was a great name for a boy and it was a great looking gem too, well at least he thought it was. “Heeeey~ Gwen look isn’t he just the cutest?” He called over to his friend as he turn to look at her as she seemed to finish picking her own pokemon and was waiting for him. Apparently her decision wasn’t as difficult to make as his had been oh well. “Hey look she likes you” the young man commented after his friend nodded slightly her face unreadable. “We better hurry or shell start getting grumpy with us Jett” Raiden whispered to his pokemon as he set him back down on the ground and started after Gwen towards the mart.

Raiden picked himself up a new trainer starter kit and at the instruction of Gwen a Sleeping bag and a few other items that would be useful to have some more of before he left. Using the money that he had been provided to make the purchases. Before making his way towards his way towards Route 1 letting Jett tag along behind him despite comment he had gotten from Gwen earlier that stated he should put him in his pokeball. Now why would he do something like that he had just gotten Jett he wanted to spend some time with his new friend, he couldn’t do that if he was stuck inside some ball. "This is exciting~" Raiden commented knowing that Gwen was only likely to glare at or ignore him as the two of them towards Route 1. The young man just couldn't wait and meet the others he had spotted leaving before them.

Waiting silently as the young woman with the pretty but unusual eyes picked out three potential pokemon for Raiden to choose from. Gwenifer watched the whole thing before the woman turned to her and drew her off to the side where she took her hands. Without any complaint from the quiet woman who stared back at Eliza until the young woman motioned to the three pokemon that she was to choose from. Bowing her head in thanks to the young woman Gwenifer walked over to the three pokemon she was to choose from. It proved to a rather simple choice for the young woman to make as she looked over the three while the Gible would make a great pokemon to have on a team. It wasn’t really the young woman’s type and as cute as the Munchlaz was the thing didn’t quiet appeal to her as much as the other two. The Litwick on the other hand was more her style,

“Wisp” the young woman stated as she smiled slightly at the ghost pokemon retrieving the pokemons pokeball calmly returning the pokemon to its pokeball where it would be safe and content for the time being. The sound of her name being called the young woman turned to watch as Raiden approached carrying his chosen pokemon in his arms like it was his child and commenting on how cute the stableye was. Which though a little disturbing she had to agree, but then again she had a soft spot for ghost pokemon. “Yeah it is” Gwenifer replied with a small nod of agreement before starting for the pokemart where she had seen some of the other trainers head to. It wouldn’t hurt them to pick up a few extra things before they started traveling after all.

“You should put him in his ball” Gwenifer commented to her friend once she had finished picking out and purchasing 2 new trainer starter kits, Sleeping bag, cooking set and some other items she thought would be wise to have. Gwen waited for her friend to finish buying what he thought he needed and of course taking a moment to point out things that she knew he would need to him. After making sure that the two of them had everything they bought was tucked into their bags or Strapped to them securely. The two headed out in the direction that a few of the other trainers had already gone. If they were lucky they would be able to catch up with someone soon on Route 1. As much as she might not admit out loud, it would be nice to see what the others in their situation had to say. As much fun and troublesome as Raidens company was she was going to need more than just him to hang out with.

Renee walked up and picked up the pokeball that Teddiursa now rested in. The little bear pokemon seemed content and Renee hooked the pokeball on her bag before turning around and nearly tripping over the Bunnelby that popped up out of its home in the ground. “Oh. My. God.” Renee frowned and nearly fell. She caught herself though and pulled out the pokedex to scan the new pokemon as Titania eyed it suspiciously.

“Bunnelby, they use their large ears to dig burrows and will dig the whole night through. It's ears are like shovels and digging strengthens its ears so that it can sever thick roots effortlessly."

Another, freaking, normal type. Renee nearly flung her pokedex at the thing in disgust, however, this new bunny pokemon seemed useful with his strong ears. She wasn't sure, but having a good digger on her team could be useful, for things. What yet, she wasn't sure, but there would be caves and maybe she'd need a quick escape via the ground or something, who knew. “Wait, Titania. Let's let the bear handle this one first.” Renee spoke as she released the small bear from its ball and used a potion on it. “Okay, Theodore, let's see what you can do.” Renee said as she pointed to the Bunnelby and Teddiursa looked from her and the pokemon confused and tilted its head. “Teddddi?”

“Fight.” Renee said a bit inpatient. The pokemon had had no trouble fighting with Titania, what was the hold up? “Battle, training, defend yourself?” Renee tried a bit harder this time but the Bunnelby was out of his hole in the ground and tackling the poor bear off his feet before the bear even turned around. “Oh, I think I like him.” Renee smirked as Teddiursa got up from his face implant with the ground and Renee commanded him to use fury swipes. The wild bunnelby managed to dodge some of the attacks but Teddiursa still got some damage in. The wild pokemon followed up with roll out and knocked the small pokemon from its feet again. “You okay, Theo?” Renee asked. “If you can, get up and use baby doll eyes.” The bear did so, but with effort as he was hurt.

Baby doll eyes weakened Bunnelbys attack but he still knocked the bear off his feet again with another roll out, this time doing more damage. Teddiursa lay where he was, not fainted, but clearly weak. “Enough!” Renee said to the wild pokemon and Titania jumped in to take over the battle. She was weak against ground types moves though and the next roll out did some decent damage, but not near a knock out thanks to Theo. “Titania!” Renee called, ready to get out her pokeball but the steel type lunged at the wild pokemon with psycho cut. Psychic blades formed in the air before Renees eyes in front of her starter and lashed out at the wild Bunnelby. The rabbit was hit a few times, but it was enough to knock him down and pin him there. When the attack was finished, the wild pokemon got to his feet but fell to one knee.

Renee smiled and patted Titania on the back. “Nice one, but don't you ever do that again. You hear me? I make the calls here and you aren't going to put your life in danger like that again. That was a really good move though wow!” Renee went between being stern and kind to her pokemon, and Titania just listened to her with crossed arms. The wild bunnelby watched, a bit intrigued, at the scene and Renee turned to him. “Well, for a normal type, I like your spunk, rabbit. How bout it? Want to join us?” She said as she drew a potion from her bag and sprayed Titania. Renee had returned Theo to his pokeball and pulled out another for the wild pokemon. “Your call! Hope you make the smart choice!” She said as she threw the ball up in the air and it landed on Bunnelby in a red flash of light, pulling the pokemon inside. The pokeball wobbled once, twice, and Renee and Titania watched to see if Bunnelby decided to join the team.

Raiden rolled his shoulders a bit as the weight of everything that he was carrying began to bother the young man. He had never really had to carry so much before on his own like this, sure this wasn’t the first time that the young man had had to carry a backpack around on his back. But well he never really had gotten the chance to go camping before so all the added weight from the gear was new to him. “Gwwweeeen~” the young man whined slightly as he looked over at his friend who seemed to be doing just fine with her supplies. Sure she had bought less bulky items then he had but she was also used to carrying heavy things, more so then he was at the very least. Maybe he could get her to carry his stuff too if he asked nicely enough.

As the young man opened his mouth to ask if she would carry his stuff for him for a while the sound of a cry nearby stopped him. The young man’s head turning quickly to see the wild goomy that had cried out to him. “You poor thing! Hold on well get you free” the young man announced not even thinking twice as he rushed over to the bush that the poor thing was stuck in. “Jett give me a hand boy” Raiden added as he started to try and pull the bushes branches away goomy in his attempts to help free the little guy. Which didn’t seem to be enough to get the little guy free “Oh I know Jett hold the branches back.” Raiden instructed as he let his pokemon start holding what branches he could away from the goomy

While Raiden grabbed the goomy as best he could not seeming to notice the sickly slimy feeling that it had as he wrapped his arms around the wild pokemon and pulled the poor thing free from the bush. With all the strength that the young man could muster he managed to pull the poor thing free from its leafy prison falling back onto his back with a oof. “See little guy? Told ya I would get you out of there” he said with a grin letting the goomy just chill on his chest while he caught his breath. Okay so maybe what he had done might not have been the smartest thing in the world. And if the wild pokemon attacked him he would have deserved it but heck the thing had been in trouble so thinking hadn't been on the top of his priority list there. And sure he probably could have probably figured out some other way to help the pokemon that did not involve ending up on his back covered in slime. But hey he didn't mind.

At the sound of her friend calling her name in an all too familiar whining tone, it didn’t take the young woman all that long to figure out the most likely reasons for the young man to want her attention already. Either A. he was starting to get bored with the quietness and was just doing it to try and get her attention. Or B. he was finding out just what it felt like to have to carry something heavy for a while. Not that Gwenifer would have considered their current supplies to be too heavy compared to some of the crates that she had to carry for her parents back home. Okay so she couldn’t blame him for not being used to this sort of thing, heck she wasn't even used to it. Sighing slightly Gwenifer moved to offer her friend a hand when he suddenly bolted over to a nearby bush leaving the young woman standing there staring after him blinking slightly. Sure the implosive man’s actions weren’t anything new to the young woman, but still somehow despite that she always found his sudden actions shocking.

“Raiden think for once” Gwenifer began in a calm tone as she started to move after her friend to help when her path was cut off by the arrival of an Absol. Who had decided to Jump out of the bushes and stand in her way glaring at her. Gwenifer stared back at the wild pokemon for a moment to see if the pokemon was going to move or just stand in her way. When it seemed that the pokemon had no intention of moving out on and continued to glare at her. The young woman removed Wisp’s pokeball from her pocket. “As you wish” the young woman stated as she released Wisp from her pokeball her expression calm. As the Absol leapt forward at the litwick in a quick attack only to pass harmlessly through the ghost pokemon landing behind her. “Wisp limit its movement, Fire spin” The young woman advised the ghost pokemon doing as she suggested releasing a circle of flame at the dark type and encasing it in a ring of fire.

Taking a moment to watch the Dark type leapt forward again this time attempting to dig its claws into the ghost pokemon that had attacked it. Fire still clinging to the Absols fur as he leapt through the ring that had been created around it to attempt to hit the litwick only to watch as once more the attack seemed to phase through the ghost pokemon without any effect. Gwenifer felt a little bad for the dark type at this point that didn’t seem to know an effective way to handle a ghost pokemon which it would usually hold an advantage over. And yet it continued to fight despite its failed attempts so far. “Wisp Ember.” Gwenifer advised watching as the ghost pokemon released a blast of flame from the flame on its head straight at the attacking dark type pokemon. Adding more fire to the already burning pokemons white fur.

Removing one of her pokeballs from her pack Gwenifer waited until the flames had died down at bit before calling her pokemon off. Tossing the pokeball at the wild pokemon watching as the ball it Absol on the shoulder and with a flash of red pulled the pokemon inside. Before landing on the ground where it began to wobble back and forth. So maybe Dark types were not her favorite pokemon in the world but this one had shown some real determination to fight even when it didn’t seem to have any way of actually hitting its opponent. So she would just have to wait and see whether it wanted to join her team or not.

"Isn't it obvious?" David said with a grin. "I have my Pokémon...none of which are here right now." Growlithe looked up at David, who briefly thought of his old team. The boy snapped back into reality when he bumped head first into a wild Drifloon that bounced harmlessly off his face. David briefly adjusted his glasses. "A wild Drifloon. I've never seen one of those before. Hey Growlithe, let's catch this guy!" Growlithe gave David an unsure look before going out and barking at the Drifloon. For whatever reason, its yellow fur seemed to sparkle a little. "Use Ember!" Growlithe opened its mouth wide, firing out a flurry of sparks, pelting the heck out of Drifloon. The Balloon Pokémon, however, puffed itself out and blew out a Gust of wind, briefly knocking Growlithe off its feet. "Shake it off, Growlithe! Now use Bite!" With Drifloon still trying to blow it away, Growlithe pushed itself to get closer and managed to bite down on its stringy arms and shake it around like it was trying to eat some poor child's homework. When it was done, Drifloon was looking very dizzy indeed. With that, David dug into his new bag and took out an empty Poke Ball... "Poke Ball, go!" ...and tossed it out, hitting Drifloon right in the mouth and sucking it inside. Now came the nerve-wracking part, watching the ball rock back and forth while the lock attempted to kick in.

David wasn't surprised that he managed to catch the Drifloon, but when both girls congratulated him at the same time, David actually jumped a little with wide eyes. That was just a little bit weird, but at the same time it was like having his own cheering section. "Uh...Thanks. This is second nature at this point." While the girls watched some guy catch a shiny Goomy, David knelt down and scratched Growlithe behind the ears. However, Growlithe seemed a little upset. Perhaps it was when he was talking about his Pokémon earlier. "Aww. I didn't mean what I said. You're a part of my team now. And I guarantee you'll fit in with the rest of the crew just fine." Growlithe smiled and licked David's face again before running ahead after the girls while David ran to catch up.

Renee held the two pokeballs of Theo and Kakarot in her hands. She had healed up both pokemon and introduced them after the Bunnelbys capture a bit ago. Now the two of them seemed content to nap in their pokeballs for a while. Two normal types where not something that Renee had wanted for her team, but what option did she have when these where the only types showing up for her? Titania followed her trainer away from the “normal” type hill as it seemed that was the only type of pokemon she was going to encounter in that area. Scanning her surroundings a bit as the two of them made their way further into Route 1, Renee noticed that some of the other trainers had just caught new pokemon as well.

There where even two new trainers, a boy and girl. The boy had a purple gem stone looking pokemon Renee had never seen before but she liked it, the little, gooey, slime thing was odd though. The girl had a nice little candle looking pokemon but Renee shivered a bit when she saw the Absol the girl had just caught. She rubbed her back when she remembered her injury from years back, but Absol was still a strong pokemon to add to ones team. Much better than two normal types anyways.

Everywhere Renee looked there seemed to be teams of trainers traveling around in pairs, well, save for the female twins she saw with the guy leaving before her back at the Ranch. She was starting to question her plan of going solo, for surely there must be something appealing about traveling in a group? Safety? Shared supplies? Someone to watch your back? Renee had her brother for that, well, had being the key word. “Three is a crowd, huh, Titania?” She asked her Pawniard, who gave her a questioning look to tell her more since she didn't understand. Renee simply kept walking though.

If she was going to join up with someone on this journey, she would have to get to know them first. The only way to do that though was to actually spend time with them and talk with them. She could stalk people around and watch their actions, especially around night. If some of these trainers where working for whoever brought her here, then surely they would slip up on the job sometime. The question was, who should she invest the time into studying? The girl who was also alone, with the Dratini? The male twins with the strong starters? The female twins with the boy, with the shiny Growlithe? The two new trainers with the Absol and the gem pokemon? Some of the other trainers who where just now leaving the Ranch? There where just too many options to decide on. Renee would give it a day of just traveling near all the groups and studying them to help her decide.

If she kept heading along the Route, Renee and her pokemon would reach the first resting lodge by nightfall, though she had no problems with sleeping out in the wild. It really depended on what her intended “targets” did as she followed a bit further behind them on the Route while adding any potential team mates to her team along the way. If she was lucky, she could get in some more training as well with her new pokemon and Titania. From where she stood, Renee had a good view of the other trainers on Route 1, seeing as they where all headed in the same direction, she wasn't that hard to see herself. Titania continued to walk with her trainer while the two normal types rested in their pokeballs.

Hana groaned as she woke up, holding her head and glancing around her groggily. After a moment she did a double take. She had no idea where she was, causing her to sit up quickly. This was so not good. The sudden movement caused the crinkle of paper and she glanced down at the note. With a frown she grabbed it and started reading. She'd been kidnapped? She had trouble believing the fact, and her only thoughts were of her foster parents. They would be happy for her, glad that she was doing something other than taking care of them. She gone on a pokemon journey a while ago, but had to return home when their conditions worsened. They always pushed for her to continue the journey, but she hadn't wanted to leave them alone. They would be happy that she wasn't taking care of them, although they would probably be hurt that she didn't tell them about the trip beforehand.

She sighed, she was going to go back home, nobody would stand in her way of going home again. She'd play the kidnappers little game and battle whoever she had to in order to go home again. She pulled herself up and went to grab her bag. She glanced inside and looked at what she had. Well these people sure were rather generous. She pulled the bag onto her shoulder and stepped outside, she blinked quickly as her eyes adjusted to the harsh sunlight before glancing around. She grabbed something to eat as she noticed that not to many trainers were here. Hmmm, that must mean that she was definitely behind in getting her starter pokemon and going. She walked over to Eliza and smiled at her. "Alright, what do I have to do?" She asked Eliza as she stood in front of her.

"But I don't want it!" Dimitri said, as soon as the pokeball shut with a click, signifying a catch on his part. William rolled his eyes as he went to pick up his new charmander's pokeball. "I'll be naming her Amira." he muttered to himself, smiling down at Aurora. "Ugh, fine. If you like my next encounter, I'll trade it to you for the snubbull. But that means that I'm naming snubbull because I know you'll name it something mean." William said, glaring at his brother. "Deal." Dimitri said, stars in his eyes. He was quite happy to trade the snubbull away as soon as possible, and it was good to know that his brother would take it. Then again, William loved fairy types. "His name will be Caesar." William said, nodding his head. The two brothers then continued their trek along route one.
