Noctis thought of a pretty good idea "hey I have a idea.... I live with my adopted sister in some abandoned Apartments... I could check the place out and fix you up a room and fix up a room for Rin as well... and one for me" Noctis smiled warmly

Noctis clenched his left eye "agh my eye...." he said in pain the he opend his eye and the foggyness was gone. Noctis regained his left eye he lost for the power to see in the dark "I can see...." he said dully looking around with his eyesight back to a hundred percent

"not at all...you can even join if you want to,the hover cars,bikes,and boards are over there" he said pointing to the garage "or you can use your wings."

"Thanks." Shard said looking at the machines. "I'll join but I'll use my wings if you don't mind." She added while spreading her wings out again.

Hokuto smiled "just make sure you can at least go 900 mph...." he said as he turned into blue fire. He got on the track with the other racers and waited for the race to start.

"Oh I'm perfectly capable." Shard said teasingly as she lined up at the starting line, getting ready to start.

The gun shot off and Hokuto left starting at 700 mph leaving a trail of fire and yelled back "try to keep up!". He began to gain speed and his flames turned orange,he was going at 800 mph,and was about halfway around (the track is HUGE,about from city to city).

When Shard heard the starting gun, she burst out of the gate, flapping her wings to climb to faster speeds. She was hitting 750 before she folded her wings and went into a spin in the air like a bullet. Soon she was pushing 800 at was catching up.

Hokuto's flame turned from orange to white within a matter of seconds and went to his limit,which was 1,700 mph. He felt himself giving out and started flickering "ugh...got to finish..." He could see the finish line about 2000 miles away,but soon gave out. Hokuto got up and used his 'Afterburner' and went 11,000 and crashed at the finish line,and broke his right arm.

Shard saw the finish line ahead of her and burst at a final speed of 2,500 and crossed in second. She saw Hokuto in a really bad mess and flew over to him. She lifted him up slightly, seeing his broken arm.

"Hokuto are you alright?" Shard asked, deeply concerned.

Hokuto got up and noticed his right shoulder was dislocated,so he relocated it by pulling it down back into its socket. He turned his bones to metal and reconnected them and said "yeah I'm alright.". He rubbed his eyes a bit and saw the lights were flashing signaling the race was over.
