* For Classes we have these:
Archer: These people are skilled primarily with ranged weapons. They specialize in recognizing the best location to attack from and quickly find their targets with a high fire rate. Their weakness lies in close quarters combat. Typically it would be challenging.
Ranger: Very similar and to the Archer, Rangers specialize in archery, but their close combat skill is much more proficient. They tend to be a jack-of-all-trades and usually find a way to see things through. Rangers are also knowledgeable of outdoor things, and have an easier time in most terrains doing things such as hunting, gathering, and traveling. They usually know edible and medicinal plants, including poisons. Their ability to do most things well means that they must make sacrifices in other areas. They tend to avoid urban areas if they can.
Soldier/Guard: These guys are well trained in combat with many types of weapons. Usually straight forward and loyal, they are the law enforcers and peace keepers of the land, and they command respect. They tend to lack in creativity and a focused skill, but typically make up for it in athleticism, strength. Their weapons and armor are usually standard issue.
Heavy Soldier: This is the true muscle of the military. They prefer heavy armor and two handed weapons like halberd, claymores, axes and staves. They tend to be physically slow but they have few weak points in their armor and one blow from their mighty weapon will usually defeat any opponent. The strength and weight of their weapon gives them the advantage of being able to break through most any guard. Their speed is their downfall if an archer or speedy opponent knows where to strike.
Knight: Knights are the highest order in the land besides the Royal Family or the council. Their equipment is customized to meet their skill, though they too, like soldiers are well versed in weaponry. They excel in leadership positions, and are known to take on apprentices from the Academy. Knights are normally from aristocratic or noble blood, but from time to time someone with enough skill or the right connections will find their way into and through the Knight’s Academy. They are the some of the most disciplined so finding a weakness would be challenging.
Mercenary/Outlaw/Bounty Hunter: Hands and weapons for hire. The members of this class are usually motivated by money, offering their honed skills to the highest bidder. At times they may have a conscious and make unexpected decisions on the job. While mercenaries are usually brought in to turn the tide of war, Outlaws and Bounty Hunters usually sell their services short term, or for bounty contracts. Their means are usually questionable.
Mage: A once forbidden art, magic, has begun to be widely accepted. The few blessed or cursed with magical ability hold the power of the elements in their hand. Magic being hard to comprehend and control, skilled Mages are few and far between, but their devastating power is valuable to any group or army. They can sometimes enchant staves to boost their power. Physical combat is their primary weakness.
Healer/Cleric/Shaman: Typically people blessed by the Goddess’ with holy abilities, they are expert healers, using many combinations of herbs, magic, and rituals to heal everything from stab wounds, to anxiety, to the damaged souls of the living and the dead. They are very knowledgeable of scriptures and healing herbs. Not suited for most combat.
Assassin/Intelligence: Silent killers. These classes are masters of shadow and silent weapons. They use heightened insight and creativity to sneak into guarded places, or even blend into plain sight. They are deadly with most weapons but specialize in small concealable weapons and hand to hand combat. They are also well suited for espionage and disguise. They have an ability to find the most important target. They are disciplined causing weakness’ to be hard to find, but the are there, such as their solitude. Because of this they tend to care deeply for a small handful of people.
Thief/Rouge: The vile scum of the land. What sets them and Outlaws apart is the code that an outlaw will follow, while a Thief usually targets any and all. They are excellent with small or one handed weapons and hand to hand combat, and are extremely creative. They make their riches by effortlessly plucking it from someone else’s pocket. The life of a thief tends to carry several downsides. Typically wherever they go they may have a bounty on them, including posted “Wanted” papers. Often times their ego and greed will land them in trouble.
Inventor: Another creative class. Inventors find uses for everything around them, and tend to use unconventional weapons, or one of a kind weapon they created. If you are ever in a pinch an Inventor is a good person to have with you. Not everything they invent is for combat use. They typically do not have the strongest body, but their mind can be stronger than any behemoth. Pair them with a Thief or an Assassin and you have a most deadly or lucrative combination.
Bard: Talented musicians who journey the land sharing songs of grief, and tunes of joy. Though for a select few with an enchanted instrument, an understanding of the notes and the ability to play in all situations music takes on a whole new meaning. From the ability to alter the weather, or summoning a Guardian* to fight for them, to healing allies, songs hold many secrets, and these lucky few have begun to unlock them.
*Guardians are the living embodiment of song, and take on the element of their respective piece (Slow melodic being water, up-tempo sporadic being fire, hard heavy notes being stone or ice, and so on). They are summoned by playing the tune but can only exist for 30 seconds after the song is interrupted or ended.
Civilian: This covers any normal job from Blacksmith, to farming, to shop owners and graveyard workers. They can fight but it tends to not be their primary skill.
"Noble/Royalty: These people are the highest of the upper class. Usually of gentle birth, Nobles are charged with overseeing the provinces and ensuring their lands are well-kept and peaceful. Very few nobles are named that are not appointed by the King himself.
The Royal Family is small, and made up entirely of Hylians. They are all gifted with magic, and skilled with both combat and diplomacy.
The Dark Army: The dark army is composed of many men and women with varying professions. Among them include Assassins, thieves, rogues, bandits, thugs, soldiers, healers, and even witches.
