I looked at Melisa and smiled, then glanced up to the sky. The stars were beginning to fade. "What do you say we go on one more hunt before the sun rises and then find a suitably dark place to sleep?" I said to Melisa, blatantly ignoring Louis and Mina's rants.

Coyly she smiled at Louis knowing exactly how old he was nodding softly."It is quite troublesome.. For my dear papa hunted those whom harmed the innocent.."She said softly then glanced down remembering what had happened at the barrens' home all those years ago. She felt her fists clench as she glanced down. She then glanced up slightly running her fingers down to her locket. She opened it revealing a painting of her fiery vixen mother, then to the other side a picture of her papa Von."It was only a month ago, when my papa died.. My mother.. She had died a long time ago.."She said softly her voice tainted with sadness. She closed the locket after he had a chance to see the paintings releasing it to let it fall upon her chest."I once was a monster that killed innocents.. But after a time I repented, and repented.. Though it didn't seem to me like it had changed anything.."She said softly touching her chest knowing her true demon form would be released once her cross was removed."I know that my true demon self still lays dorment inside of me, just waiting to be awaken and go on a blood thirsty rampage.."She said softly looking down gripping her cross looking down more her bangs covering her eyes. She began to feel her eyes burn concealing tears."But I not only promised myself but also my papa that I would never return to that monster.."She said softly feeling tears run down her cheeks. She covered her face embarrassed from being so sentimental."But I fear that I will return to being a monster.."She said softly wiping her eyes glancing to the side embarrassed yet saddened.

Kurama bent next to his student and took Kasoruk gently by the shoulders. "Try to relax and take a few breaths, Kasoruk. Hiei is right, but before you can learn to overcome your fears, you will have to learn to calm yourself enough." The fox demon said coolly, giving his student a small, understanding smile. He stood up and walked over to the counter, looking for cups and a kettle. "As it is, let's get you that tea and then we'll find you a room with a view. Alright, Kasoruk?" Kurama poured water into the kettle at the sink and then set it on the stove, letting the water begin warming. He glanced over at Hiei. "Would you like some tea as well, love? I think I have a type that should work for tamping down morning sickness."The fox offered.

Kino raised an eyebrow to the person who answered the door,but not in a bad way.He looked down to Siya to explain why they were there since he was no good at explaining things."Um...good evening...we..uh..we were supposed to go to the school just outside of this forest,but it seems to have been burnt down..and we have no place to go so...would you mind if we come in and rest for a while..?"Kino sighed.Leaving it to her it made it seem as if they were hopeless and helpless,which technically they were but he was too stubborn to go on that allaby.But since he had no other choice,he'd have to go with it.

"'I understand. ' I said softly, almost amazed by my own words. I noted the locket she opened to reveal the opposing pictures of two people who must have been her parents and then swiftly closed. I raised my gaze from the delicate but strong hands that closed the two halves of that necklace, to Mina's face. Clear, salty tears were rolling down her cheeks as she spoke of the monster she believed she had been. 'No,'I said, wiping those tears away with care. 'I am the monster. You, you have that control. You can be stopped anytime you wish to be, Mademoiselle Mina. I can never be stopped. Repentance no longer holds any value for me, because I will always be a monster.' I said sadly. Though I was resigned to my fate, that did not make it any easier to live, if one could even call the state I was in living."

Hiei shook his head. "I'm fine now, Fox. I was never much of a tea drinker, either." he said to his love. He sat at the table, a few feet away from Kasoruk, and rested his chin in his palm while he waited for something to happen.

Amazed by feeling him wipe away her tears. She glanced up slightly not knowing such a man could be this kind. For she was so used to be only used and abused by men. She felt her eyes widen slightly as he called himself a monster. She shook her head wiping her tear stained face blushing a slight pink."No, not in anyway, could you be a monster Monsieur Louis.."She said softly looking up at him her hands resting on her chest."I have sadly massacred innocents, for reasons I do not know of.. Nor, do I understand.."She said softly glancing up into his yellow eyes with her own grey coloured eyes."But for such a man to show kindness to a demon who deserves none, but to be shunned by others.."She said softly knowing it was true, it was all she deserved for doing her wrong deeds. She closed her eyes slightly remembering the terrors she had done to innocent humans and other demons a like."I should know, for I did many wrong things, for I had thought I was doing good for myself.."She said silently looking down slightly blushing a slighter more off shade pink."But I trust my instinct and my instinct says that Monsieur Louis is not a monster.."She said softly looking up into his eyes the blush stained upon her pale cheeks. She felt her tail slowly swish as she glanced up into his eyes.

Kurama nodded amiably. "Alright. I'm glad you feel better, Firefly." He said, cheerfully taking a seed out of his hair and letting it grow. He asked the plant now in his hand for the use of its leaves and it kindly acquiesced, dropping them into his palm. Kurama thanked the plant, returned it to seed form and put it back in his hair. He did the same with a couple more plants, then the fox demon realized that he didn't have the necessary power to dry the leaves for the tea on the spot. "Hiei, could I borrow a little of your firepower for a second?"

Sang watched the two interact, each one claiming to be a monster, She turned back to Lestat and smirked, "A match made in heaven." she said, jacking a thumb back at them. She turned back to Minanotte, "To answer your question from before, I'm a witch, I'm a Hunter, and I'm bored. Since Lois seems to like you, I won't touch you, but I got better things to do than listen to you two whine."
She began walking away, "Tomorrow night, we target one-eye. Meet me at the cemetery after you two get your snack." she said to Lestat and Melissa as she passed them.

Hiei stood and walked to Kurama. He took the tea leaves from his red-haired love's hand and held them in his palm. It only took a small amount of his magic to heat the leaves until the moisture was gone, then, he gave them back to Kurama and kissed the fox on the cheek.

He looks to the black haired sensei with a sigh, looking him straight in the eye. He acknowledged his fear, but how about him trying the same thing and put his manhood into question? He drops it though as his red haired sensei comes over to calm him. He does as requested with a nod, knowing he shouldn't have broken down like that but, it had been hard when those confusing feelings welled up, only for them to not be returned by Kira. But, he doesn't dwell on it long as he hears about his black haired sensei having....morning sickness? His eyes grow wide as the implications of this come in full. "Wait.....sensei is pregnant? Is it possible for all males to become pregnant?!" he asks, horrified at the possibility, despite the fact he had already decided he didn't want to have a male companion, as he covers his part comically, as if it could occur just being around fellow men.
