Ginko
The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears
Ginko frowned; " Look you really don't need to. If any of your friends see this you're i huge trouble." She was sitting on her mattress, looking at the Cleric on the stairs. " I've lived like this for sixteen years; I don't know how to live any other way." She said, rather bluntly kicking at a small mouse trap that had remained; she had disabled it. She couldn't stand the thought of one of the sweet little rats running around down there dying; they would always beg her for whatever she got from the leftover dinners, and she always oblidged with something. They were so cute, with there twitchy little noses and big brown eyes. She saw one then, hiding trembling in a corner at the sudden change, and automatically got down on all fours and started to coax it out with encouraging coos until finally it sat in her palm, eyeing the Cleric nervously.
