Earth: 2065 Miday.

Everything was seemingly normal, everyone was either off at work, or at school, even sitting at home watching some stupid show on tv when it happened. There was no warning, no signal of their arrival, it was a complete surprise attack that no one was prepared for anywhere in the world. The bombs fell a little after one p.m., and caused massive devastation that destroyed cities in seconds. The secondary wave of bombs rained fire upon smaller suburbs, total chaos ensued. Whilst humanity was scrambling about trying to figure out what had happened, the little that had survived anyway, they finally made themselves known. They looked seemingly innocent, like a human, but oh, they weren't. After a bit of conflict, humanity discovered that whatever they were, they were not human, common weapons could not hurt them, and once they landed, they were unstoppable.

Many humans fought or fled, many died in addition to the millions of death caused by the first and second waves of bombings. Those who survived managed to stay hidden, for a little while at least. The 'aliens', as humans were fond of calling them, soon began looking around rounding up humans for studies, entertainment, or just plain slavery. Pretty soon, no human was left free, and those that did manage to invade the enemy just... disappeared.

Earth: One hundred and thirty four years later...

The shattered remains that had been massive cities still remained in rubble. Great bridges remained crumbled, buildings would occasionally fall from all ready damaged supports that couldn't take the weight anymore. The immortals didn't care much for what remained of human civilizations. They built their own empires in the middle of these cities, using materials around them how ever they wanted. In the middle of destroyed cities would be large fortresses that were made from car parts, building material, and other random bits and pieces around the place. Of course, the immortals didn't do any of the work, no, the human slaves they had captured, and their offspring, built them under force.

However, just when there was no hope left for humanity, a rebel group arose from their hiding places with new weapons, strategies, and a lust for revenge. Over the years, they had used old forgotten technology to improve weapons and expand their numbers until they could be a force to be reckoned with. Their goal? Take down the immortals once and for all and regain control of their planet. After that? Try and rebuilt and improve from what was left of long ago.

What will happen in the war against the immortals and mortals? Can the rebels take their planet back after so many years of horror? Or will they too fall to the horrors of the alien creatures that arrived in a massive burst of fire?

This is a semi-lit to literate roleplay. No one liners, and a minimum of one paragraph please.
Proper grammar and simple spell checking would be nice as well.
A picture of your character and their name is required in your post. You can add more if you wish.
If you are a rebel, supplies are limited if you leave your little clan. World is kinda destroyed after all.

Immortal Profiles:

Name: Vincent { "Vince" } Robinson, a.k.a. Ettil K'abos.
Race: Immortal, Siren (Prominent breed)
Age: Appears to be nineteen.
Powers: Because of Vince's heritage, he has been highly influenced by one of the most prominent powers of his clan, which is mostly audio and mentally-based, through the family has its physical characteristics. He is sensitive to sound and high frequencies, and can irritate him quite easily, even set him on edge...Thus, he doesn't much like crowded cities, but he has learned to handle it. This sound sensitivity also reflects the capability of his mind; sometimes resulting in a sort of telekinesis. Vincent, then, is also hyper-sensitive to emotions, enabling him to sense hidden despair, or other feelings.
The K'abos clan is a highly prominent breed of Immortals, mostly because they are survivors. Not only does their highly regarded mental abilities that help them sense oncoming danger keep them secure, but their physical traits help defend themselves. Although it is not as intimidating as some other clan's traits, the K'abos have the ability to shift into another form. Although each individuals is different, most have similar characteristics...Such as elongated claws and teeth, which allow them to tear flesh with ease.
Weapons: No weapons, other than a small dagger he keeps belted under his jacket. He hasn't had the luck to find or purchase any weapons he thought worth taking.
Why you came to Earth: At first, Vince was hopeful and optimistic about the trip to Earth. Yes, it seemed like a fairly good idea to him; but he would admit later that he was 'blinded' by his families thoughts and revisions of humanity and their own species. He had heard that there would be the conquering of the humans, yes, but he hadn't quite thought about the experience too harshly until he and his kind stepped onto Earth for the first time.

It was a nightmare.

He had expected the conquering, yes, but not the slaughtering of humanity. And looking about at his relatives- His family, friends... All he knew and cared about- they didn't seem to mind such activity at all. In fact, when he questioned them, they all seemed to say the same thing.

It was for a better future.

He fled; but before doing so, he did what he thought was necessary. He prepared a speech to be addressed to the Immortal in charge of the city he and his family were living within, and had grown quite comfortable with, and spoke it: Hoping that it would change their views on humanity. He was tired of seeing so many slaves, and so many dead bodies.

That didn't go quite well, as expected. Now, "Ettil" (his real name) lives under the human name of "Vincent" and flees from rebel camp to rebel camp, running from his own kind, and hoping to find someone that will allow him to stay in safety.
Other: Although Vince is a survivalist, he makes rash decisions and thus comes off sometimes as sarcastic and unintelligent. He is highly sensitive to feelings, often overreacting himself.
He also has a breathing problem; the air on Earth is a bit different, and sometimes gets to him.

Name: Rei Kuroniko (Tac-Bot Service Model - 11673 )
Race: Generalized Humanoid Combat tactics bot (Reprogrammed)
Age: He's about 174 Years old
Powers: Strength, Speed, Teflon Alloy rapid deploy armor (Self defense mechanism), and a Tactical Observation Module. (Many fighting based systems are currently offline due to reprogramming)
His online systems include: Appearance Shift (Ability to change hair and facial structure), Radiation intake module (What keeps him running without a 'normal' power supply)
Weapons: His data module contains data of many different fighting styles and the utilization of both ranged and close combat weapons. (Restricted due to programming subtext)
Why you came to Earth: He was created here, originally by the U.E.D.F. (United Earth Defense Force) for the fight against the Immortals, however, an EMP wave rendered him inactive for many years. He was then picked up by an Alien Salvager who intended to scrap him, until it was discovered that a simple circuit needed to be replaced in order to get him running once more.

Other: After Rei's systems came back online, he was reprogrammed as a service bot for the Immortals. Programmed to tend the needs and wants of Immortals. However, the Salvager did make one rather large mistake when programming him. He put a new software over the Defense software, meaning he didn't first delete the previous data set. This means that 'seams' in Rei's behavioral patterns may emerge under situations of stress, and could cause him to shift back to the old software temporarily. No one knows about Rei's underlying programming, thus making things rather interesting. Without knowing what Rei truly is, it would be difficult to tell him apart from any human, especially because his face can be changed to suit a disguise.

Appearance:

Name: Hatsumomo
Race: A succubus
Age: Her body shows that of a twenty year old, but her innerself is much more older
Powers: She is can seduce and lure any human just by her presents. By a simple kiss the human or demon of any kind would burn from the inside out. Her song and dance places the watcher under some sort of spell, where their body will not be able move as they watch her give them her kiss of death.
Weapons: She doesn't really need a weapon
Why you came to Earth: Hatsumomo came to earth only to have fun and cause havoc, she honestly doesn't have a main reason. Although she had arrived on this planet around the year of 1524. Within the year of 1555 She became a concubine of a great man called Nobunaga Oda. Shortly after his death in 1582 She left Japan and began to travel the world.
When bombing began she could only smile as she stood under a Sakura (cherry-blossom) tree, holding a beautiful white paper parasol; engraved by a golden pattern symbolising leaves and flowers. Hatsumomo kept that one Sakura alive through out the bombing and the arrival.
Other: She always dresses as a high ranked Geisha

                                      Thunk...Thunk...Thunk...Crackle. Crunch. Curse.

Nicole looked down and winced at the huge pile of broken glass she had carelessly walked through. She was glad her boots were as good as they were or she would have been screwed. Removing glass shards from ones foot was a pain in the a**, and she didn't want to have to do it when she was in plain sight either. She quickly made her way across the pile of glass, cursing softly every time a particular piece of glass sounded like a freaking gun shot going off in the eerie silence that seemed to be everywhere she went. Eerie. Yeah... That was a good word for the hollow ruins that once was a great city. Or so she had been told. It had been over a hundred years since the immortals took over, and the only way she knew of what the world was before then was stories that had been passed down. However, just by looking at all the fallen buildings, crumbled bridges, and masses of metal and glass, she could tell that once upon a time this city had been great... But now... Now it was ruins that told a sad tell of humanities fall.

Not that it had been completely wiped out, no, those that had survived the coward's bombing had been forced into slavery, where after all those years, she had been born into. She had escaped, but her mother... the one that had protected her all those years, the one that was supposed to come with her to freedom, had died when escaping, leaving her alone. And her father? She had no idea who he was. Her mother had gotten pregnant in the fortress, but she would never tell Nicole by whom. So, no help from daddy dearest there. She learned to like being alone, being in a big group was dangerous. Too many people to look over, too many people to worry about, and you were a bigger target. Alone she could concentrate on her and only her, and that was perfectly fine. She was a loner, always had been, and she would always be.

"What's next? Set off a ******** car alarm? Come on Nicole, why dont you alert the entire city you are walking around?" She muttered softly to herself, her eyes darting to the shelled remains of a burnt up car to her left. She shook her head, moving away from it just in case, before continuing to walk. She had been walking like this for... three days was it now? Only stopping to camp out in some of the safer looking abandoned buildings. Her plan was to build up enough ammo and medicine supplies to make a raid on one of the fortresses. Only problem? She had never been in combat with an immortal. She had been trained to shoot, been trained in excellent hand to hand combat, and even given off a good list of how to hurt the bastards, but she had never been up against one. In fact, the only time she had seen one was at the fortress when she was little, and when she was hiding from them out here. Which wasn't that often, it took a brave fool to brave the cities in broad daylight. Did she care though? Nope.

She grinned to herself as she touched the butt of the hand pistol at her side. She felt the comforting weight of her laser rifle against her back, the weight of her combat knife in one of her boots, and finally, the soft weight of the smoke grenades at her side. If she ever ran into an immortal, she was going to put up one hell of a fight, and she would fight to her last breath if she had to. She aimed to prove that humanity could come back, and once they did... Those immortal bastards were in for one hell of an a** kicking. That is, if they could be killed.

____As always, the air was cold around him, and he was running. Running, running, running. It seemed like that was the only means of his existence, nowadays. Run here. Run there. Persuade this person. That person. He seemed to be nothing anymore but a little middleman, fearing for his life... Belonging to neither side.

He panted heavily. He had been running so long, now, since his last encounter with another group of Immortals. He hadn't been careful enough. They had spotted him from a distance, from the all-to-obvious tracks he had been relunctant to cover.

But, whatever. There was no use in thinking about it now.

He didn't know how long he had been running, but he was pretty certain that they were off of his trail by now. At this realization, he became a bit more relaxed, allowing his muscles to release their stiffness from beneath his jacket... But even so, he was weary.

Wandering alone now, he thought it was probably the best idea, now, to scavenge around for materials he would need in the next few days. And so, after awhile of tossing rubble over, his nose wrinkling a bit at disgusting smells, he began to grow accostumed to his lonliness again.

As he worked, he hummed a nursery rhyme that he had heard taught to the child-humans; oblivious to the the woman that was nearby. Sure, he heard the crackling of glass...But in some cases, he simply ignored such noises. He heard so many that a lot of them seemed insignificant, and thus, he let it pass.

But now I know

Nicole sighed as she reached down and picked up a rock the size of a baseball and ran it around her palms. Baseball. Something for the history books there. When there was no immortals around, and people could just relax. Yeah... She'd like to see a world like that. But no, here she was in a wasteland, all alone, and jumpy as hell. Speaking of jumpy... What the hell was that? She froze as she heard some kind of noise, and quickly ducked down beside one of the destroyed cars. She peaked over it to discover someone else walking around.

Well... She hadn't seen another person in days. She slowly got to her feet and pulled her laser rifle from its sling. She jumped up onto the hood of the car, and pointed said rifle at him. "Freeze." She commanded, her voice taking on an icy calmness that was a complete opposite to the whirling thoughts of her mind. "One move and I will shoot you." She growled, ignoring the annoying strand of hair that was blowing in her eyes, she kept the gun trained on him. "Friend or foe?" She asked, ready to shoot and book it out of there at any moment.

____...Vincent had been minding his own business, stepping over rubble and contemplating to himself, when he began to become a bit more keen and weary as to the noise he was hearing. It was during times like this that Vincent knew with an undying truth that his world was never silent, even in lonliness. No. He heard every bit of detail...The hum of this dead world, constantly and without end. At times, it was quite maddening. At others, it filled in the endless abyss of traveling solitary.

He shrugged it off, however, resuming his light and solitary tune when he heard no further inquiry that someone was in fact there. Either that, or he was too damn tired and weary to care. He had been running since dawn, nonstop, afraid to rest and become overwhelmed with the Immortal's that were surely at his tail.

He regretted only moments later of ignoring such noise.

"Ah, s**t!" He cursed, partially out of frustration and partially because he had been startled. In a matter of moments, he heard the clang of boots hitting metal, and in frustrated bewilderment found his dark eyes staring down the barrel of a rifle...Then, down the sights, taking in the fierce face of the wild human before him.

He revealed his palms to the air; showing her that he was no threat, although his eyebrows were arched in irritation. His lips were nothing but a thin line, and after a moment of silence, he answered her,"...Friend, but not as long as you keep that gun in my face."

Nicole smirked as he cursed, getting ready to shot him any moment. Well, looks like her day got a little more interesting. He did look generally surprised though. Good. She wasn't off her game. Creeping around through the city being all sneaky did have its advantage she supposed, she just had to watch out for the damn glass. That could have gotten her killed.

Shaking that particular thought from her head, she watched as he put his hands in the air. Oh, he looked pissed, not her problem. "Friend huh?" She questioned, keeping the gun on him. "Sorry, not moving until I get some proof here. I've seen many go down when they thought someone was a so called 'friend' and then ended up getting shot in the back, or dragged off to the middle of the city." She said calmly, her dark eyes watching him carefully. "

"Now... Who are you, what are you, and what is your business here?" She questioned. "And I'd hurry if I were you, my fingers have a tendency to slip at the wrong times."

____Vincent raised an eyebrow at her words, dark eyes peering through stray strands of blonde hair. Well, she was definitely a survivor not to be messed with. He vaguely wondered if she had any connection to the rebels; she seemed human, that is if his instincts were anything to go by. He doubted that any Immortal would be wandering around by their lonesome; and especially be as cautious as this young woman seemed to be.

He sighed, as if annoyed, allowing his raised hands to fall limply by his sides and dangle... And eventually, his eyes lowered from her gaze, and he overall relaxed. He glanced downward, turning away from her rather casually, as if the weapon was never there. Why should he be so cautious, afterall, of a stray human girl? She didn't seem to be the kind to pull the trigger on him, even if she demonstrated otherwise.

And if she did, hell. He had a lot more to lose than that, now didn't he?

At last, he passed a glance to her again, dark eyes glimmering a bit mischeviously in the light before answering,"...Vincent. Vince, if you will." He turned his back to her, ignoring her existence, continuing to shift and turn rubble with his feet,"And I'm human; my business his your business."

A thought seemed to pass through his head, for he froze, before turning around again and gazing at her with intent,"You don't seem to know of any rebel camps nearby? I'm seeking refuge. I've been being chased around the countryside for quite sometime now."

Nicole watched wearily as he started moving, just kicking around bits of rubble and looking quite harmless. Yeah right. If she knew one thing from surviving in the cities by herself, it was do not trust anyone. Do not think anyone innocent, and everyone could be an enemy. Anyone. She huffed as her threat was gone seemingly without a care. Was she loosing her touch? Maybe. She'd have to work on that.

"Well then Vince, I might not have to shoot you then>" She said, sighing softly as she put her gun back into the sling. She had her gun and her knife if he came at her. "And no, I haven't seen a rebel camp in days. They are a bit harder to find if you dont know where to look for them. I run by them every once and a while for food. I wouldn't hide in there though, not very spacious, and they just want to get you to test all their weapons for them, kind of a drag. You are better off just hiding in an old building or something. Who's chasing you? The Immortals?" She questioned, hopping down from the car.

"While they cant usually find the camps, I wouldn't put it by them to not know where a few of them are. Bloody cowards to not attack." She smirked, a soft laugh leaving her lips. "Poor poor immortals, afraid that a little human will kill them. When I finally find a way to get inside their defenses, I am going to knock them on their asses and take this place back for the human race." She mumbled, brushing that annoying strand of hair from her eyes.
