That gleaming red eye flicked up to the girl as she stepped over the rope, coming up to him with a large smile. That was a little diffrent, certainly. Escpecailly when she ate a stone. Not something Syn saw every day.

He was completely silent and unmoving as she looked over him, obviously not caring about the annoyed people behind her blocking him from their eyesight. She was pretty, he had seen girls more beautiful than her, but she was very pretty, and her smile gleamed. Not to mention her... rather odd behavior was something he hadn't experienced before.

But he answeared her question. "I am Syn Isen Lan." He found her choice of words almost amusing, 'appeal to me', like she was the only hope he had of getting out of here. The corners of his lips tugged up in a half smirk, half smile, his red eye glinting at her softly through his dark eyelash's. His hand shifted, tapping on the rubies spread across his collar.

"I bring you to bliss."

“Syn Isen Lan.” She parroted, to store in her memory. Strange name, he must not be from this country, it sounded some level of Asian or Vietnamese. And his appeal, though straightforward, was far too blunt for Ophelia. “Bliss? That what you said, right?” She tapped on her chin with a orange-colored nail, her eyes, if they were visible, turning upwards to her forehead. Haaaa, see, this is why such blunt comments were a pain in the a**! “Bliss can mean a lot of things, ya know.” Then she smiled, that same tapping finger hers pointing straight up as if a ‘ding!’ light bulb appeared over her head. “Bliss is heaven, paradise, enjoyment, happiness, delight, pleasure, harmony. Heaven is rapture, dreamland. Paradise is glory, joy. Enjoyment is satisfaction, gratification. Happiness is a two-headed baby. Delight is glee, amusement. Pleasure is its name. Harmony is accord, concord. Bliss is all of this and more!” Ha-ha, thanks again computer brain! She bent at her waist again, this time her stunner shades sliding to her nose on their own as she looked him dead in the eye. “So tell me, can you provide me joy and amusement? Accord and glee? Harmony and delight?” Then she tilted her head, her smile replaced with a pout. Here she was, going off like a motor mouth, and she completely neglected to ask him something rather important! “What is your definition? ‘Cause I don’t need a skank, ya know.”

And mister tour guide jumped at her last comment. “That’s what he is!”

She blinked, tilting her head so her ear was more towards the man. “Excuse me?”

“What you said. A.. skank, was it? He’s designed for that and only that.”

“…” Ophelia did fall silent, contemplating his words. Bullshit, he had to be lying. No doubt, Syn Isen Lan looked like a heart-breaker, but he did say “bliss”, so he had to be more than a bedroom playmate. She looked at Syn again, a light pout on her face but her wide bi-colored eyes were curious. “Come now, surely he’s not serious--”

                      “Miss…”

She growled, spinning around with her hands on her hips and in her “challenge” stance, meaning her feet were the same length as her shoulders and upright. “Can I interview my possible pet in PEACE?! Geez!” She waved her hand in irritation when she turned back around to the cage. “You act like he’s going to deteriorate into dust if I talk to him too long! At least let him exercise his jaws for speaking!” ‘Cause by the look of some of those nasty-hearted men, they were going to make poor Syn Isen Lan do more with his jaws than she had in mind. Ewww...

                      “Miss--”

“ANYWAY!” She said loudly, putting her hands on the bars of the cage as she squatted down. Eh, her knees cracked painfully, that meant she wasn’t getting enough iron. Hmm… these bars looked like they could do the tric—FOCUS! She put her shades on top of her head, and then gripped the bars lightly with her fingerless gloved hands. “I know you have more uses than that…” She said softly, her tone as if she were speaking from another worldly place, as if she knew something he didn’t. “Tell me that you’re not just what your collar says, tell me that they’re wrong…”

”No, we've never met before and I assure you I'm not here to distract you from any dealings you might have. It just seemed odd someone of your standing would be here picking slaves yourself instead of sending someone to do it for you. But, I can see your busy, so take my card and I'll be on my way,” Quinn pulled a card out of his back and handed it to her. It had the name of his company, his name, the address to the company building, and the phone number to there as well. It was his business card in it's entirety, he found it useful to advertise his company to important people when he saw them, she was no different.

He figured she had reason to be suspicious of him. He was a rather shady person and that usually put people on edge. He would hear from her later, or not depending on if she needed anything. He didn't have the time to worry about it now though. He had a slave to pick out, and had little experience doing so. He figured he better start trying to get some information from the slaves in cages, learning people's story was always a good way of learning about them. The first cage he saw that interested him was a cage with a girl inside. He could see some teeth marks on the bars and the sound of electricity not to mention the hair on his hand stood on end when he got near told him she was dangerous.

He narrowed his eyes and observed her for a moment. She didn't seem to comfortable where she was and seemed to be lost in thought. It didn't look like she was enjoying that either. He couldn't grasp completely why she would be unhappy, besides the obvious, and pulled out one of his business cards. She didn't look like the type to take to conversation to well and tossed the paper card into her cage so it hit her. ”You probably can't use the number but my name's on there. You smell of canine. Are you Lycan?” He had noticed it among she smell of burnt fur coming from her cage. It wasn't overtly strong but those with heightened senses would be able to pick it up. He waited for her response.

The half demon stared at her a moment without reply. Tell her they were wrong? How could they be wrong? This was all he knew, these looks, these hungry stares that still ensued over her shoulder. People looked at him, and they wanted him, they wanted to make him do the darkest desires of their filthy hearts, to sooth a need that every sentient being had inside of their body.

Skank? That was a lesser word for what he was. Not nearly as harsh as most thing she had been called in life. b***h, slave, skank, trash, slut, whore-

Ah, he didn't like that one. his hand lifted to his eyepatch, fingers smoothing over the soft black fabric. He had once had two beautiful red eyes. His master had called him 'Ruby' for the longest time... Until one night, a woman attacked him after he had 'broken her in' for her husband to be. She had slapped him over and over, and the beautiful diamond on her wedding ring had dug into his eye, causing him to go blind. As well as leaving three strike marks from his eyebrow to beneath his eye, a zig zag mark that almost looked like an 'S'. Which was how he had gotten his current name, 'Syn'. Because his existance, she screamed, was a sin.

But what else was he suppose to be? What else could he be? For Syn, this was life. This was normal. There wasn't anything else he knew. He looked at the other slaves, growling with fire in their eyes as they burned to be free, burned to be back out in the world. But he didn't understand why. There was nothing in the world for him but to be in someone's service, right? Even if he got out of here, he would need to eat. And how would he get food? Sex. How would he get lodging? Sex. How would he get anything? The answear was always the same.

'He’s designed for that and only that.'

It had only been recently that he had even been outside, in this world, and seen that people similair to him did other things. Those wolves over there, they fought. Even the succubi fought, with every fiber of her beautiful figure. She wanted to be free, to cause havoc and mayhem for what people did to her. And she literally lived off of the things he did. And it was only now that he had ever begun to wonder... could he be different? Could he have been a fighter, like them? He knew he was strong, his body was in perfect condition. And he was a Half Cat demon, cats were quick and agile. Perhaps maybe he could make a living off of fighting, like they did? Could he do something else with his lide? Could he still have such a light shining in his eyes?

He slowly moved his hand form his eye and reached out, resting his strong fingers on one of the steel bars as he looked down at this strange girl with his only seeing eye. "What is my definition of bliss...?" he asked softly, thoughtfully, staring at her with a blank expression on his beautiful face, and she was sure it was the expression he wore almost every moment of his life. When he spoke, she could see the balls peirced into his tongue, small flash's of silver from his mouth. "...Bliss is 'empty'. Feeling nothing, knowing nothing, understanding nothing. What is that saying, 'Ignorance is bliss'? That is what bliss is to me."

He shifted a little on his stool, his other hand resting on the bars as well. His hands were up above her's, his long body leaning forward from his seat, so he was looking down at her as she crouched before his cage. "I can give you whatever you want. Joy and Amusement, Accord and Glee, Harmony and Delight... I've heard all of these things before in accordance to what I do. But I think that, once again, our definitions are different. I will be whatever you want me to be, and do whatever you want me to do." Though it sounded perfect, when he said it, it was just words. They were all true, he could do and be whatever she wanted, but they meant nothing to him. It was the same story, the same life as ever. Now that he could see others, doing other things, he was, for the first time in his life, begining to wonder if he could do anything else.

He let go of the bars and straightened, leaning back against the wall, his tail flicking behind him again, the bell chiming softly.

”Fighter?” Nizar wondered aloud raising what would be a brow if he had one visible. The look still got the desired effect and with a tilt of the head seemed to complete it. His ears aimed forward picking up on everything that was said inside the shop. Sometimes he hated his ears. Being able to hear much greater than most every other being made it hard to focus on any one thing in particular. That fact had a habit of giving him a headache and now was starting to be that case. It was a pain he was more than happy to bare.

”I've never seen this Arena I hear people talk about. What's it like? Not that I'm a fighter or anything. I'm more of a run and hide type of guy. I have a twin brother that can fight though, he's evil.” He sighed and noticed one of the customers toss a card into the new wolf ladies cage. He read what it said and was rather interested in the work 'Logistics.' That word usually meant information and lots of it. He decided that the next time he got the chance he would pay that address a visit.

His gaze turned back to the man his attention turning to his shoulder. ”Did you hurt your shoulder? You baby it a little,” he stated one of his observations stepping to the edge of the shelf and the end of his leash. ”Blue lady is looking for a partner are you here for that too? You might want to choose one that can heal if your shoulder is hurt, or one that could fight better while covering that side. Of course I don't know since I don't fight. The most I can do is teleport, but since I'm grounded to the building I try and teleport it too and that hurts, that really hurts.”

Her fingers slipped through the bar's, her small hand resting gently onto his head. his muzzle was huge, she was sure he could bite her hand off in one simple snap. The glimpses of shining white teeth she had received when he had spoken looked sharp and strong, like he had eaten and been well taken care of before coming to this place.

She quickly brougth her hand off, but not because she was afraid. Snatching the tip of her glove between her teeth, she quickly pulled it off, dropping it into her lap before she slipped her hand between the bars again, eyes glittering as her bare skin touched down on his thick fur, slowly slipping back long his head, pausing before her fingers moved between his ears.

'Treat them honorably. They are amazing creaturs, Soli. Creatures of ancient strength, magic, intelligence... Even those that are not that old posses something we humans can never have. And it makes them amazing. It doesn't make them lesser than us, it makes them beautiful.'

Yes, the wolf in front of her was beautiful. His fur was smooth and thick, pleasently ticking her palm as she gently rubbed her fingers over his head, staying in the area between his ears and eyes. She wanted to touch more of his fur, but she held back, knowing that petting a wolf was something they minimally allowed until they trusted you. She had never had a Wolf before, but her father had had one, and she was amazing...

"Ma'am, that isn't safe."

Soleria looked up at an employee, who's face was lightly pale with fear. Apparently, she knew wolves didn't allow themselves to be touched either. For the girls comfort more than her own, she pulled her hand away, and stood to her feet. "I wish to purchase him." The girls face brightened in a saleswoman smile, as she immediatly became buisness. "He's a good buy, ma'am. He's got good blood." Soleria knew blood wasn't all that was good about him. There were pure breds that were the worst sorts of creatures you would ever find. But yes, Xander was good. She could see the honesty in his multi hued eyes, and the strength. She silently signed the papers as the girl prattled on about this and that, none of which Soleria really listened to. After a few warning sheets, insurance papers, and other such wavers, she passed over the money, received her change, and now held the certificate of ownership. A thick leather wrapped stack, folded and presented with a seal on one side, a large 'E' to remind her where she had purchased him. All of Xanders bloodwork, credentials, histroy... everything this place could find out about him, was in this. She tucked it in her bag, making sure to close it tight so no one could slip it out without her noticing.

"Shall we transport 'im to your house, ma'am?"

She looked up at the wolf, her hazel eyes thoughtful for a moment, before she shook her head. "...No. I will walk him home." The nearby people's eyes widened. "M-Ma'am, are you sure? He may run away..." Soleria almost laughed, shaking her head. She knew he wouldn't run away. Besides, these poeple would be surprised with her own prowess. She was confident if he tried, she could take him down.

Not that he would try.

"Just give me the chain, if it makes you feel better."

The blonde chuckled again, shaking his head. "A little chatterbox, aren't you?" he moved his hand back to his shoulder when the small creatiure mentioned it, a phantom pain throbbing numbly through the appendage. "I didn't hurt my shoulder, someone else did it for me. The arena is a fun place, but probably not for someone like you." He glanced at the blue haired woman he assumed the 'fox' was talking about. Yeah, he knew of her. He had never fought in the arena's she did, he preferred the lower, solo arena's.

"I'm not looking for a partner... more like a guard." He looked back up at the fox, moving his hand down and slipping it into his coat pocket. "I use to fight, but I can't fight as well anymore since my shoulders practically destroyed. I've tried having it fixed, but apparently, nothing works on me." Thanks mom, for making me immune to magic and medicicnes too. "So I'm looking for some help."

User ImageMarrie took the card and nodded, "Thank you. I will look into your services as soon as possible. That is after I purchase a suitable slave. For the record, I am not the important one my sister is. I just protect our nation." She smiled gently as he approached the lone she-wolf that she was about to advance upon herself. How odd people are these days. Why would I want someone else to pick my partner?

She turned to watch the shoppe as more people had entered since she had, a new buyer was talking to a pleasure pet, and the only other buyer that interested her was the one with the injured shoulder. She heard the small fluffy thing meantion her by looks and she turned and stepped back over to his perch.

"My name, little one, is Marrie. Please use it and not the blue lady. What my I call you? And do National libraries interest you? Palace Gardens? Or the like?" She was interested in this little creature. He seemed to pick up on little things that others hardly noticed. That could be a useful skill in the Arenas. A competent spotter outside the arena is sometimes better then a partner inside the arena. "And who might your friend be?" She bowed towards the 'injured' man, "I am afraid I do not know you. May I have your name as well?"

Luna reached out and took the card mid flight, she flipped it over and glanced at the name. ‘Jacinto Logistics.” she repeated, her English well developed, and even for a soft spoken person like she was, he’d clearly be able to understand her. She then looked under the name of the business for his own name, finding it in the center of the card.

‘Quinn Jacinto.” she added lifting her brilliant cerulean blue hues to meet his very feline like eyes.

‘I don’t think I have a say in who bothers to show interest.” she added to the man that stood before her cage. ‘The person inquiring about the slaves have all the power here.” The small female turned so she was facing the were-cat.

‘They decide if or what they are looking for. Sure I can probably say no, but then would it really matter?” she asked a rhetorical question. ‘If you really held any interest in me, then you would have to initiate the sale.” she added her cool eyes setting upon his. “Not only that, but those ladies, probably would not hold a slave for you. They are in to make money, and if someone came in who was interested in me, they’d probably tell you they would hold me for as long as they could, but do you really think they are honest honourable people? All they are looking for is digits and cold hard cash.”

Luna was smart, she already knew how those sales associates were thinking. She could see it in their body language. She could probe their minds if she really wanted too, but there was no need. She was old enough to recognize hunger and greed in a persons gaze.

Her wolf ears swivelled forwards and she gazed at the card again. It took a lot of guts and experience to run and keep a shop like this going. Before Luna was a captive here she had heard the name mentioned often on the streets, and she was no stranger to the arena’s.

Her two tails flicked as she looked back at him at the mention of being a Lycan. She chuckled a little. ‘No I am not a were-animal, like you are. I am a wolf demon. My mother was a Taiyoukai and my father was a reincarnated Norse god, The wolf that swallowed the sun, Fenrir. He two was a Youkai.” she replied.

She glanced at the number and set the card on the cement floor beside her.

‘Well Quinn Jacinto, you may call me Blue." She would not give him her real name. Hearing her name meant she had to trust him, and that was unlikely to happen.

Xander waited quietly through the whole signing of papers, he was reminiscing. He had almost forgotten what it felt like to be touched by another human hand. Well, Delmarie was not human, she had been something more than human, but he had never been able to tell exactly what sort of creature or blood she bore. Even when she bled the blood smelled unnatural.

Lune’s hand was purely human and she was petting him with respect, which was all he had asked for and in return she would get so much more, she would get his best. When the cage was finally opened, and the leash attached to his collar, the wolf waited until the sales associate passed the leash over to Lune.

That is when the massive white wolf slipped gracefully out of his cage and stood on large silver paws. He shook out his fur letting it fall back into place, his fur shining underneath the light of the sun. He sat on equally massive haunches his tail curling around his hindquarters. The muscled beast was clearly the side of a horse, his tongue lolling from parted jaws.

He saw the sales associate back away, clearly smelling of fear. ‘He does not look so big inside that cage.” she let her fear escape with her words.

The wolf chuckled. ‘Clearly, all of your strong captives would look smaller behind steel bars.” the wolf interrupted. ‘Since you cannot trust most of them out of their cages, you rather look at them as if you are looking at something tame, something you can control.” the wolf murmured. ‘Through blurry and distorted glass as you will, all humans are the same.” he paused then let his eyes slip to Lune.

‘With a very rare exceptions.” he added after a few minutes of pause.

Xander could not explain the feeling that coursed through him at that moment, he was feeling far to much. He and Lune could formally get to know each other after they left the Emporium, there were too many prying eyes, and to much desperation coming from the beasts who lost themselves.

Lifting his back leg he set about scratching behind his ears, his moves causing the sales woman to back away again. ‘Well I hope you found what you are searching for.” she added running off to bother some other browsing customer.

Xander slipped his pink tongue into his maw and looked at Lune. 'You will not be disapointed." he said almost reasuringly. Xander almost wanted to ask what the return policy was on slaves, but kept his thoughts to himself.

He looked down as the girl came up beside him, saying her name was Marrie. Marrie... he beleived she was some sort of protector. For family, or something like that. He bowed, his length bending as he caught her hand, placing a kiss on her knuckles. "Call me Phillip," he said as he straightened, releasing her fingers in the same movement. "I am doing my best to not be known, I do not begrudge you doing the same."

His eyes skimmed over the remaining slaves, seeing that one of the wolves was being bought. he had a strong frame, that one did... And someone was looking at the girl wolf. Which left... the other, silver haired one. He smiled at the two of them. "I'm sorry, but I think I'll go introduce myself to someone else as well, and then hopefully I won't have to do so again for the rest of the day." He didn't like to give his name out to much, It left a trail, which was something he was working very hard to hide.

He stepped away from them with another bow of his tall frame, moving past the others and coming back to the last wolf's cage...

( Meaning you, Pandeh XD )

Soleria watched the large wolf step forward. It was... oddly exhilarating, to see the huge silver beast step from the bars, his paws making no sound. his muscles rippled with every movement, thick fur glimmering as he seemed to step from the dark dismal cage, into... freedom.

Her chest tightened a little. It wasn't complete freedom... she held ownership over him. She had often felt terrible about that. Sometimes, knowing that she was the only thing keeping them back from doing whatever it was they wished made her cry as a child. And some of her Fighters she had even set free.

But she needed Xander. She needed a Fighter, a strong one, to help her go back and take the Arena by storm. She knew that back there, she would find the people that had killed her Father. She would find them, and she would extract her revenge. She swallowed, and she smiled softly when Xander sat beside her, looking at her as he said some humans were exceptions...

She reached out, gently brushing that spot on his head again, rubbing softly at his gleaming silver fur. "C'mon. Let's get out of here," she said with a smile, moving her hand away as she headed towards the door, loosely holding onto his leash.

"I Roll With the Foxes, And Hunt With the Hounds."

Bright red eyes seemed to glow with inner light as two legs came into view. Vivian glanced up, letting her eyes lock with those of the man whom she'd heard enter. This had to be him. It seemed his step matched well enough. Those bright eyes slayed unblinking as she surveyed him. The snort was loud as it left her snout.

Her form moved forwards, out of the darkness to see him in better light. Attractive, very attractive. She let her eyes wander from his toes all the way up, pausing in all the right places. Only then did she let her wolven form move against the bars, and her fur melt away. Horns grew slowly, and her body morphed into what the others in this hell hole would know as her succubus form. She glanced up at him, a soft pout on her lips, even as her body began to sway.

"Have you grown weary of the fighting? Have you come in search of one to make your troubles go away?" Her grin was mischievous, and secretly deadly. God she needed a good screw. A food hearty meal. She needed energy, needed something to make her stronger.

Some of the other pets in the shoppe might look down on the cat boy, but Vivian knew. She lived it as well. Though she had been made a fighter, she knew the feeling. Knowing that sex was your only option to feel whole again. Maybe in even more of a bitter way, she Vivian had never been alright with bedding her masters or mistresses, even when she needed it. It always felt like giving up, like submitting.

But for now, she would play the card, like her mother had. Only this time, she planned on winning, and not with a child in hand.

An eyebrow cocked upwards in mild surprise when the wolf changed into a woman with curling horns. His chest tightened slightly at the sight of her, beautiful as she curled against the bars.

But the blood of a goddess burned in his veins, warning him what this woman was, and how bad of an idea it would be to slip beneath her spell. Not that he could... not immediatly anyway. And, honestly, he was greatly appreciating the view. "I thought you were a wolf," he said to her, resisting the urge to reach down and touch her. Instead, he allowed his eyes to wander. He hadn't missed her look over of him earlier, he figured he was permitted to return the favor...

"And the answear to your questions is yes."

"I Roll With the Foxes, And Hunt With the Hounds."

Unpainted lips twitched into a soft yet knowing smile. Her head shook slowly, even as her naked form pushed against the bars, swaying like a tree in a soft breeze. "I am whatever I wish to be. A woman, a demoness, a wolf, I choose which, and I will it so...Care to see more?" Her smile widened, revealing her pointed canines, razor sharp and still begging for trouble.

Her entire body seemed to move, her hair billowing around her, even as it stood on pointed ends. It was untamed, like the beast it covered. And she liked it that way. And even as she sat, her body resting on bended knees, she could picture herself stealing his life away, taking it from him and willing him death for her freedom. She could see anyone's death. It was not too high a price to pay to run free.

But something in the way he carried himself warned her. He hadn't acted, though her collar was buzzing in her ears, a audible warning that she was working her magic. He didn't reach his hand out to touch her cheek, or try to bring her closer. He was resisting. Something in her darkened heart warned her that he was not a simply wounded human. He was something more. Something to provide a challenge. Her grin became a smile. "Come closer if you dare..." Without another word, and only the coyest of looks, Vivian moved back into the darkness, waiting to see if he'd take the risk.
