User ImageJason kept himself from laughing as she jumped. It was his fault; you really shouldn't stand at a door waiting for someone to come out. At least without telling them. The end result, however, was still funny. Seeing her jump because of him. He really wasn't that scary looking. He wasn't as attractive, either, as Kaori in a towel.

He wiped the grin off his face seconds after it came up and headed into the bathroom. Had he always been a pervert?

Closing the door, he undressed completely and turned the shower back on, stepping into the warm water. He closed his eyes and leaned against the shower wall.

User ImageSuiren ignored Yiska. She didn't look at him, kept her eyes on the cat as she flicked her tail. Ren wouldn't hurt the cat. It wasn't in her to hurt and to kill. But she wanted dominance. She wanted a standing in this new home. Had the cats been other slaves, she might have been the lowest of the low, the very last in a tall ranking. They were, however, just dumb house cats. She would not let them surpass her in rank.

Fur standing on end, claws extended, she made herself look as big and tough as she could. Being more than twice the size of the domestic cat, she didn't think she needed to hurt her. Just intimidate her.

When the cat didn't back down, she pounced, landing on Ivory with her claws withdrawn. She wouldn't hurt her. Just show her who's boss. Ren used her size to her advantage, pinning the cat down, ignoring the fact that they were both perched on Yiska's lap. Gently, she nipped the cat's ear, and then the scruff and fur around her neck. After a moment or two, she let the cat go and left the couch, walking back towards where she had abandoned her towel.

Ren didn't want to be last again. She didn't want to be mistreated or looked down on. The damn cat wasn't going to get in the way, either. She would make sure of that.

Around the corner, she changed back and picked up her towel, going into the bedroom to change.

((I have little time to post so, this will have to do for Nizar. Quinn post comming tomarrow. Sorry for the continued delay... sweatdrop ))

”I'm not making trouble!” Nizar protested with a scowl in his face, ”I'm making sales. Being annoying means I'm cheap, right? I can't do anything but remember what I see or read. And being the only Sorikata that, as far as you know, talks isn't that impressive.” Nizar didn't wait for an answer and instead turned to Kai with an almost pushy look on his face. ”My name is Nizar Baqi Rasima. I'm 34 years old which is still young for my race and considered a pest, I suspect you'll find my race in a book used to list pests. Look, I'll tell you anything you want as long as you get me off this damn shelf!” Nizar couldn't take it anymore. It had only been a few hours since the other wolves had left, but he was going stir crazy looking at the same with no one around to talk to. He wanted to be sold and bad at this point.

Kaori sighed with relief as Jason didn't make any comments, and as she heard the door close and the hiss of the shower as it turned on. She quickly stuffed the shirt over her head and pulled up the skirt, along with the correct undergarments and her towel fell to the floor. She hastily picked it up, and wandered about, trying to remember where to put her laundry. She couldn't remember if Jason had his own washing machine, or if he put it out... Her old houses always let her leave her stuff wherever she wanted. Even though she didn't particularly like doing that.

Glancing at the door to the bathroom, she pondered on how exactly she had gotten so lucky. It wasn't a large manor, of course, but Kaori didn't discriminate against masters for their houses. But her old ones always were possessive, and only liked the idea of a pet... it was so completely unlike her own family's policy... to serve those who genuinely appreciated it. There was some kind of mutual bond between owners and servants, or even bought companions... but that bond had disappeared as Kaori kept getting handed down to similar masters over and over again, until she landed herself in the Emporium. But now she was here. Jason had picked her... She was... home. In a place where she should be, with a person she enjoyed serving, or even just keeping company. She sighed with content, and sat down, the towel trailing over her arm to the floor as her eyes looked off into space.

Kai listened to the ball of fur implanting the information gathered into the file that he had started. Nizar Braqi Rasima, Sorikata, thirty-four (young), claims to be annoying and a pest, were listed in the file in the appropriate areas. It was clever and could remember things easily not to mention it gave out information without hesitation. Kai was seriously considering purchasing Nizar. The woman looked over Nizar with an eye of scrutiny trying to decide if she should permit his antics since he was trying to boost sales. Well, he wasn’t annoying the customer so she waited back to see if the metal man would purchase.

I will keep you to your word them.” Kai said dully before turning his head towards the woman.

I want his papers.” He said.

Are you sur- I’ll get them for you.” The woman said with a quick recovery from questioning his motives and darted off to get the papers to make the transaction.

((Sorry, it's rushed.))

User ImageJason nearly nodded off in the shower. The water was warm and relaxing. With the little sleep he got most nights, and the amount of activity he had had already today, it wasn't surprising that he was falling asleep. After the second time he had caught himself drifting off, he shook himself awake and started washing everything. He took a little longer than Kaori had. Partially because he had been falling asleep and partly because he was in a half daze when he started cleaning himself.

Stepping out, he yawned and dried his hair first, then his body. His hair was a mess, but he was fine with that for now. It kept all of the hair off of his face while he shaved and brushed his teeth. Lastly, he rinsed his mouth out with mouth wash and secured the towel around his waist before flicking the light off and heading out into the less-steamy-and-warm hallway.

Out of habit, he went straight for his bedroom, towel slightly sliding down his hips. All of the hair on his head was messed up, standing this way and that. His entire face could be seen, including his blind eye and the scar. Had he remembered that Kaori was there, and could possibly be in his room, he might have brushed his hair and put pants on.

Dozing made him quite forgetful.

Blushing slightly, he tried to fix his hair while keeping the towel secured around his waist. “Sorry...” He mumbled, hurry past her to grab some clothes. He glanced back. “You can put the towel in the hamper thats in the bathroom....” He frowned. “Something wrong?”

Kaori blushed more fiercely than Jason as she scurried off to put her towel where he had directed.

"N-Nothing's wrong. I was just thinking about my old homes and owners. They're both very different. But I like it here... it actually feels like home, not... like where I used to be." she gulped, fiddling with her hair. Her words wouldn't come out right, and she pretended to examine the lamp on his bedside table... a rather weak distraction.

"Where did you want to eat?" she asked, pretending to act normally again as she peeked inside the lampshade and blinked when she accidentally hit the switch. Her ears tipped the lampshade as she quickly removed her head, and she grinned foolishly as she turned the lamp off and rearranged it.

“Well....I normally eat down in the tavern in between busy traffic flows. My chef, Antony, would probably kick me if he heard this, but...I get a little bored of the food down there. It's good, but I'd like to go out for once.” Jason was putting away his new clothes, hanging most of it in his closet. He had also hung up some of Kaori's new clothes, putting the rest in the extra dresser he kept in the closet. He had a longer one underneath the bedroom window. Glancing back, he made sure she wasn't looking when he slipped into a pair of boxers and jeans. “There's a nice place about thirty minutes from here. It's not too formal, but not too casual. It's nice.”

Slipping into a nicer shirt, he went hunting for some socks.

Jason smirked as she fiddled with the lampshade. She was a rather funny girl, Kaori. Unique. He liked that about her.

Pulling on a pair of shoes, he topped his outfit off his his new hat. “We can get an early dinner there, then grab you whatever we have left to get.”

She nodded enthusiastically, her excitement rising again.

"That sounds great. I know what you mean by getting bored of food... I always got the same type of things to eat before, I almost wished to tell my owner about it. Not that they would listen... I'd probably get scolded if I complained." she remembered that the food was excellent before, but she did wish sometimes for more casual meals instead..

She walked over and moved his hat a little to arrange it nicely, and tugged on his arm.

"Ready to go?" she smiled, glancing towards the door.

User ImageJason smiled, nodding as he looped his arm in hers. “Yes, I'm ready if you are.” He paused, looking at the door. “Don't mind if we do some sneaking around to get out of here. I'd like to avoid Antony if at all possible. He can be quite...persuasive when he wants something. And I would really like to not eat in tonight.”

Leading her towards the door, he paused briefly in the outer hallway to lock the door before continuing to lead her out of the building. It wasn't hard to get past the few people who were lingering in the tavern. The place didn't start getting busy again until around eight or nine, when the bar portion opened up. Right now, it was just the odd guest or restaurant customer being served.

Outside, he lead her to an old, 1967 mustang convertible. It was black with a line, deep red, running on the hood. The car was one of the few things he had inherited from his father that he couldn't let go of.
Ahote chuckled. "I can appreciate a good liar." he paused. 'After all what is the truth without a little lie?" The last part was a rhetorical question. 'But I can respect a man who can be completely honest with himself and others." The slave said.

The man turned down a curving road the car purring like a satisfied cat under his pale hands. The road continued to wind and twist as they came to a wrought iron fence. The iron towered above the car and had beautiful designs, vines snaked around the gate their tendrils lost in the fence and in themselves.

The road itself seemed to continue going on for miles as he slipped his hand out the window, put the four digit code in the automatic lock and slipped his hand back on the wheel. A beeping sound resonated around them as he pulled the car out of park into drive and gave the beast some gas.

The engine growled and moved forward its round paws digging into the dirt as it carried the two closer to the mansion waiting for them. The mansion itself was surrounded by mountain. The natural beauty loomed over the estate, giving it a surreal appearance. Beautiful gardens greeted them with all sorts of flowers and exotic animals. Elijah loved his things and Ahote did not have the heart to dispose of them.

Much like Yiska's, Elijah's, and now Ahotes mansion was a newely renovated victorian home. Yiska bought his after seeing Ahote's home. Seems he had some things his brother enjoyed as well.

This mansion was much bigger than Yiska's.

'Welcome home." the man said gently as they parked infront of the home.

Two regal panthers lay across the sidewalk. They lifted their heads in unison as they saw Ahote enter.

'Jack, Mila." The boy said softly.

The two cats purred. 'Meet Jay." he said.

The albino panther flicked her ear. 'That is Jack." He chuckled.

The black panther got up and nosed Jays hand rubbing a very long flank on his side.

'This is Mila."

'They are the security." Ahote said softly.

Nizar’s eyes went from irritated and forceful to that cute puppy look as soon as he understood that the man was going to buy him. ”Your actually buying me mister?” he asked hope and surprise in his voice, almost sounding like a kid who was just given a second bowl of porridge. He couldn’t believe that after how long he had been there that two people would want him in the same day. He was ecstatic, but being at the end of his leash already wasn’t conducive for a happy dance.

Nizar stood their wide eyed his tail wagging ninety miles an hour his ear erect and listening intently. The rest of the store didn’t matter, all he wanted for to be bought and removed from this hell hole. He didn’t even care that the lady that was so mean to him was right there. ”I’ll be good I swear! Just don’t leave all of the sudden like the other lady.” Nizar looked a little mad for a moment before switching to a completely happy smile.

Quinn looked through the monocle at the fallen beast the monocle giving him a readout on the chemical makeup of the beasts body. Their seemed to be a high concentration of metals in the beasts skin and bones as well as the connective tissue that surrounded the organs. Quinn had actually dug into the beasts nasty smelling corpse to gain that little bit of info.

Finished with that gross bit he went back to his bag and pulled out his two books. He opened the old leather back book turning the pages until he found the one he wanted. It was an old page that contained what looked like a spell circle and a list of ingredients like a cook book. He set that book on the ground and opened the other notebook. It contained equations and formulas which Quinn immediately started calculating seemingly random equations on his graphing calculator based on the information he had gotten from the monocle.

Once his equations were complete he put the notebook back in the bag and knelt down in front of the old book and pulled out a pen and a small piece of paper from a pocket and started making adjustments to the spell circle drawing the new spell circle on the small piece of paper. Quinn put the graphing calculator and the old book back in his bag and pushed the beast out of the middle of the floor and cleaned the blood up with his scarf to make a suitable area to start in.

”I’m starting if you want to watch,” he hollered to Blue before taking the container of chalk and standing in the middle of his cleared area. He didn’t wait for Blue to come, he could hear that she was done in the shower, and if she wanted to see she would be there in a few moments. He pulled out two pieces of chalk and shifting just enough to gain claws jumped and attached himself to the ceiling. He looked down at the floor and using his scarf to grab the chalk and his monocle to direct the chalk he drew the spell circle on the floor with precision.

He dropped down from the ceiling and landed perfectly in the middle of his spell circle. He made his scarf lay over a portion of the floor covering part of the spell circle. He then got behind the large beast and pushed the body onto the scarf. After that he grabbed a part of his scarf and concentrated a portion of energy into making the scarf move the body to the center of the circle without messing it up. Looking at his handy work so far and sighing once he was satisfied turned to see if Blue was in the room.

Jack smiled. He shifted his hand, rubbing his fingers down Mila's length. he crouched, fingers slipping under the massive muzzle and scratching along her chin, and down her neck. He had been in contact with many sorts of animals, thanks to the arena... Hungry animals had been one of the many beings he refused to kill for crowd appeasement.

The cat purred deeply, nosing him again, almost knocking him over. He chuckled, standing again. "They are beautiful." He said, pausing to look around the front of the house agian. "...It's all beautiful..." he whispered softly, almost afraid to say it. not because he thought Ahote would be mad, but because he wasn't sure he should get attached.

He was mildly surprised when she didn't reprimand him for his obstinance. Then again, why should he be? She had so far not reprimanded him on one thing, except to be more... like himself. But he didn't know himself. Himself was Syn the whore. He pushed such thoughts to the back of his mind. before he even thought of any of that, he would have to find out if she really intended to use him for other things besides sex. Her and her family. If she was truthfull, then... maybe... he could start asking deeper questions of himself.

He also tried not to think about fish, least his stomach start to rumble.

Ok, so she wasn't human, and she ate...metal. Slightly strange. What being ate metal and precious stones? He held back asking, because she said she would tell him later. maybe it was something secret... something others weren't suppose to know about. From her words, he assumed as much.

It took his a second to figure out what she was talking about, staring at her in mild confusion. Then he realized she was talking about his eye, and almost on reaction, his hand lifted and touched his eyepatch. When he realized he did so, he forcefully put his hand back in his lap, looking down at the back of the seat in front of him. "...A... customer."

b*****d!! How dare you!! How dare you do this to me!! So many years I was forced to save myself for my husband, and then you took me like it was nothing!! You peice of s**t!

He sighed heavily. "A fiance... in an arranged marriage, as I understood it. The husband did not want a virgin." That was all he said about it, his fingers tracing circles lightly against the back of the seat.

Your a sin! Your existance is a sin to everyone!! you should die and go to hell, where sin's belong!

His Master had thought she was funny. He had laughed at Syn's bleeding eye, and called him 'Syn' from then on, instead of Ruby.

"The Perfect Mix"

[[Please forgive meh! I lack the computer...And I'm trying to get the newest ATMSH off the ground. If anyone from here wants to join, just PM me.]]

Gavin hadn't wanted to watch as Jay moved away, but he'd waited for the toher to turn back, to give him some kind of good bye. It didn't come...

Gavin had thought sadness would have been the result. That was exactly what he'd expected and yet, his eyes burned with a hatred for slavers no one would ever understand. It took a great amount of control not to let feathers burst from him and to go tearing off after whatever car they got into.

Instead, Gavin foced himself into a sitting position and let his cage be opened. The metal man had him. Kai, that was his name right? Witha sigh, Gavin unrolled and stood, a measily five foot three. He was completely silent as his newest master bought the little ruffle of fur from the top shelf. Gavin didn't really know much about the thing, only that he'd one thought it needed a freind. But when he was in and out of griffin form, his other, less dangerous side wasn't always availible for friendly playing.

So there he stood arms folded against his body as he waited for the two to be ready to go. He knew that Kai was going to buy the thing. As soon as he'd realized it, Kai had asked for the papers. Well at least he'd have something to play with... when he wasn't being forced to rip people to shreads.

"I Roll With the Foxes, And Hunt With the Hounds."

They both knew she was playing her little game. She didn't think she needed to, but it was part of her fun, something that gave her a thrill. Her body moved like liquid as she moved to sit atop him, her legsrested to one side, and her arms around his neck.

"Well, I'll take the right then...Puts me closer to the action..." She grinned and didn't ask for permission to simply place her lips against his. She didn't want to take up too much more time when another attack could happen any time. She needed power. She needed strength. And only feeding and rest would give her that power.

So she took it. Her lips were pressed against his even as she pushed her form against him, using her weight to tilt him back. If he didn't want to take part in it, she'd simply thrust her powers on him, coating him in layers of sexual tention until he was begging for her. The thought alone had her smiling.
