It took a moment to realize the person, (rather good looking) was talking to her. Kaori had been tracking other customers, noticing how drawn out their conversations were, that such a to-the-point comment didn't seem meant for her. But she was hopeful. Someone was interested, and had asked... asked if she wanted to be bought. Her tails swished back and forth as the light in her eyes came back.

"First person today who actually got down to business in less than a minute. I don't mind though... I will serve you in any way you desire until you want to get rid of me. I hope you don't, though. I don't like being here." she smiled, her ears flicked back, then forth, as if already affectionate towards the man who wouldn't even say his name before he decided to buy. Increasingly odd, but a master didn't have to say what he didn't want. Kaori liked to be close with her masters, but she didn't like to count her kits before they were even born. Not that she ever had any, but you know. Sayings. Her green eyes examined the man more closely.. she knew he couldn't see through one eye... somehow, she just sensed it. And there was another man. Were they going to share her? She didn't mind, too much... but... she didn't like to seem like some promiscuous foxy woman who didn't care who she bedded with. She liked sleeping with men, no doubt, but she always liked it best when there was just the one she served... it seemed like she deserved it, and had attention from her master, instead of just being someone to pass around. Oh well. Either way, she wanted out. She wanted to serve. It was in her blood.

Jason smiled. The girl was eager to please and to come home with him. No questions asked, no demands. Her answer was almost as sudden as his intent to purchase her. What a pair they seemed to make already. It seemed to be going far too smooth, too easily, but he wasn't complaining. He knew the price was going to be high, and getting used to sharing a home was going to be hard. But the buying process seemed easy, and that was just fine with him.

"My name's Jason. I own a tavern not far from here, and I live above it. It's just me up there after work and during the day, so you don't have to worry about anyone else." Jason stood. Crouching wasn't easy. He had bad knees. "The cage doesn't look too comfortable. Now, if you tell me your name I can get this ball rolling and we can be out of here soon enough."

A tavern. Kaori wasn't used to that kind of work. People who had money to buy her were always the rich stuck up old men who needed some invigorating in their lives... people who showed her off. Would she become a barmaid? It'd be interesting, trying something new. But she heard those places were somewhat full of unsavory people. If her master wished it, she would do whatever... her personal discomfort was nothing compared to happiness when she pleased the ones she served. Be it old rich men, young rich men, evil masters, good masters... all of her previous ones didn't count anymore (only the memorable ones did, and most masters weren't really memorable.) Perhaps Jason would be different.

"Tavern hm? I've never been in one. Don't let that bother you though. I'm Kaori Mai Inari! A fox demon who's actually happy to be a so-called slave. I'm a bit costly though, because I have a good temperament and I'm "well rounded" so to speak. I hope that doesn't deter you." her eyes looked pained when she mentioned her own price. Too many left after she said such things.. She hoped Jason wouldn't be another. Even if he did seem set on buying, exorbitant prices could change anyone's mind.

"Ah, yes. The rare fox demon. We've heard only good from previous owners, and she doesn't act up like the others. But she can be tough, too, if you need protection. She can be your companion, or she can be someone to carry out any needs. Though the price seems high, I'm sure she's worth it. In many ways." a greasy-haired attendant showed up, already holding papers with anticipation. One of the types to try and get rid of anyone, for the money...

Luna snorted, her voice resonating around her. ‘Do you really think I would jeopardize my freedom by attacking the person crazy enough to buy me?” It was a rhetorical question, but a thought none the less.

The she wolf set her rare cerulean blue hues on the man and moved out of her steel prison. Her toes spliced feeling the carpet on the pads of her well cushioned feet. The shock collar annoyed her, and to test out its usefulness she growled her voice reverberating off her vocal cords. Not even a millisecond after the sound left her parted maw the shock collar sparked to life and a crackle of electricity resonated around her sensitive ears.

A quick shock rolled down her muscles and joints causing the she-wolf a little discomfort. It was more a warning to the handler than anything. Though she was just seeing its efficiency. The massive she-wolf did not enjoy the thing strapped around her neck and wished simply for her twin collars, collars that were digging into her throat because of the shock collar.

Grumbling in response to the thing she shook out her soft silky black fur and tried rolling her shoulders. This moved the shock collar behind her steel spiked collar and her blue collar, resting more comfortably than where Quinn latched it. Stretching out her tight and still sore muscles she sat on her massive haunches. Her ears lifted, her eyes taking in the others as she saw envy cross some of their faces.

She smiled mockingly in her wolf form.

‘As for his name, that is my concern, my vengeance.” she growled showing some teeth. ‘If you find him then I will not be able to surprise him with my return, you might spook him and I simply cannot afford that.” the she-wolf muttered a response looking away from the were-cat.

The sales woman returned from the back room and paused, seeing the horse sized wolf sitting beside her handler.

She moved closer slowly and handed him the papers. ‘Your free to go.” she replied.

User ImageXander chuckled softly. ‘Home?” he repeated. ‘I have not had a home for many years.” he added.

‘I hope to find a home here.” he added. ‘This place reminds me of something I have not had in many years of captivity.” The wolf said truthfully.

His curiosity taking over as he watched the world go by.

‘This place is amazing.” he added again.

He could not wait to get out and see the place, mark this as his, maybe make those who want to cause harm re-think their decision.

"I Roll With the Foxes, And Hunt With the Hounds."

[[Sorry, fell asleep trying to fix meh comppy]]

Ears remained tight against the large wolven skull, held there while Vivian guaged her new foe. All she saw were targets. And Phillip was a moving one. Fun. Her teeth snapped together in an attempt to get his attention, to induce the human nature to run. The thrill of the chase. One thing she'd not had in so long. Her taste for battle overwhelmed her mind and made he rform vibrate in anticipation.

Blood, slowly turning black in the warm outside air, covered her chest, and dripped along the lines of her legs, dipping into the cravases where her muscles connected to bone. She lowered her body slowly, muscles tight and burning as she locked her gaze on the man who now stood with the window open.

For an instant, reality snapped into place. It was open. There was a way out. After so long in a cage, she had a way out. She lifted her form and took an uncertain step forwards, as if to make for the opening before her wolven conscious sunk back into the forefront, taking control. Her head shook quickly, and again her eyes were alight with the hunger for battle. It was obvious just in her stance she wanted to tear her master apart. Not because of who he was, but because he was there. Too close to the action.

The Succubus had fought in pits, where others watched from high above, safely sealed away behind thick glass stories up. While she fought to the death with some other brainwashed slave in the dirt for the rich's enjoyment. And as much as Genevieve hated the idea of keeping worthless assholes entertained, she did enjoy the racing heart...the adrenaline rush...the blood...the smells, the sounds; God! It was exhilarating!

Now, she stalked closer to the one she was blissfully unaware was a God child. Her fangs were barred, fur raised on end and tail high. She was the image of a wolf, and much more dangerous.

User ImageJason shook his head. “You're not working in the Tavern, so I don't need you to be familiar with them.” He shrugged, watching the store clerk out of the corner of his eye. He had yet to come over to them, but he could see him eagerly grabbing papers. Business men; always hungry for success. Though he supposed he had been the same at one point. Now that he had success, he didn't know what he wanted, or what he should strive for. Until Gabe mentioned finding something to spend his time and money on (he had obviously been hinting at finding a woman and settling down) Jason hadn't even considered getting a pet. A pet was more ideal than settling down to him. “Don't worry about the price, either. I make enough money to splurge once in a while. I'm not filthy rich, but I am successful.”

Taking the papers from the clerk without looking at him (he had seen him coming from the corner of his eye), he took a pen out of the inner pocket of his jacket. Skimming over the forms, he signed where necessary. Contracts and purchasing forms for pets. God, this place was more complicated than it needed to be. Though if he had wanted just a regular pet he could have gotten a cat or a puppy. Something that didn't talk.

Kaori was kind of like a puppy. She was also kind of like having a real woman. Kills two birds with one stone.

“I don't need protection, thank you. If I did, I'd hire body guards.” Jason muttered, handing the papers back to the clerk and putting his pen away. “Now get her out of that cage. It's rather demeaning, don't you think? Keeping them locked in cages like mere animals. They may be pets, but most of them are partially human, too. Sitting in cages all day just makes them cranky.”

She laughed, beginning to move towards the large double doors. But she paused, frowning a little as she looked around her.

She suddenly turned to him. Crouching in front of him, she unhooked the leash from his collar, her fingers running through his fur before resting on the sides of his muzzle, looking him in the eyes. "I'm taking a leap. It's been a while since I've had a Fighter, and it sounds like it's been a while since you've had.... anything." She sighed, her other hand pushing her hat up a little, to better see his eyes. "I'm going to let you explore on your own. Being in a cage is never comfortable, and I'm sure you want to stretch your legs..."

They whole of her lands was gated, with alarms, but she was sure he was creative, and if he really wanted to escape, he probably could... her fingers rubbed between his ears before she straightened, smiling a little. "Just come inside before nightfall. one of the servants will bring you to me from there. And don't start a fight with anyone," she said with a lopsided smile.

"Yes, of course. I have the keys right here. Would you like a leash? Or perhaps a shock collar? Any other of our complementary items?" the attendant's eyes were shining, as he unlocked the cage. He would get some good extra cash from selling the demon.

Surprised the little twerp had that money. he thought to himself, grinning at the fox demon.

"Don't stare at me like you want to eat me or something... creep." Kaori muttered, jumping out and stretching her legs as her tails seemed to unfurl and stretch as well.

I had forgotten how good it feels... she closed her eyes in bliss, and then cocked her head up at Jason.

"Master, if you don't want me to work in the tavern.. what should I do?" she asked curiously, her ears swiveling a little. Odd indeed, this one. Most wanted her to do something.. Cleaning she didn't much like, and wasn't put to the task much... She was a good cook, and loved cooking, but master's generally had their own chefs... Perhaps she would have the opportunity to cook for him. Or maybe he bought her for the sex. Some did... she tried to puzzle it out, but looking at him, she couldn't come to any one conclusion.

Jason didn't like the clerk. He didn't like any business man that went in for the money but held the customer in a dim light. This clerk didn't want to please his customers, just sell the merchandise and get on with his day, some money in his pockets. You didn't make a good business that way. Customer service jobs required you to actually please the customer. This guy didn't seem to understand that.

Looking at Kaori, he rubbed his chin and shrugged. “A leash just in case, but I don't think I need the collar. Let her pick out the leash she wants.” Leashes didn't seem necessary to him. The girl was willing to serve him. However, he knew some establishments forced pet owners to keep their pets on a leash. So, just in case, he would have a leash for her. They would most likely walk out with in it his hand, not attached to her neck, though.

Frowning, he shrugged. “Keep me company? I'll find something for you to do if you really need something.” He paused, looking outside the store window briefly. What could he get her to do? Buying her hadn't had much of a purpose to begin with. He looked back at her. “You dont need to call me master. Jason is fine.”

Kaori smiled as the clerk looked overly surprised at Jason's comments. He muttered something that couldn't be heard, and rolled out a wide variety of leashes. A lot were bedazzled with gems and intricate designs... Clearly, for the trophy pets... and for masters who wanted to show off. Funny how Jason seemed to treat her unlike a slave. Most of her masters delighted in ordering her around, and randomly punishing her. After all, a lot who wanted slaves were sadistic and enjoyed seeing people in pain. Kaori had been through those masters, and didn't really mind the pain, and sometimes enjoyed it, but she always connected pain to punishment, and those overly sadistic ones always seemed keen on finding random things to punish her for. And she could never please... that's what she hated. Being unable to please was such a terrible thing.

"Alright... J...Jason." she tested the name in her mouth, flushing a little. She always thought names were to be earned. But maybe those were just eccentric masters. She wondered if she was an eccentric slave.

"Ooooh, but I'm so indecisive. It's not often I get an opportunity to choose something.. even a leash. So I always have dilemmas when choosing the smallest things." her tails swished with intrigue as she placed her finger on her chin when she bowed over to look at the leashes. She wondered if he wanted to show her off as a trophy pet or keep her inconspicuous. If the former, probably a more extravagant one would be good, but if the latter, a simple one with a design... She looked at them from all angles, as if that would decide for her.

User ImageMany people found Jason to be a little odd in the way he did things; eccentric even. The clerk wasn't the only one who had given him funny looks or muttered under their breath because of something he had said or done. Giving the pet freedom to choose and to call him by name was only a new addition to an on going list. His beliefs, opinions and actions had been normal at one point. Good when he was a kid, learning from his parents. Bad when he was in the gang, fighting for territory and rights. Whether they were good or bad, his traits had been average. After learning about life and growing up, losing more than he could have gained, he developed his own morals and opinions. Some of which wouldn't make sense to the people in this shop. He didn't believe in cages or collars, ranks, classes...just in equality and hard work. He didn't see races as most humans did, either, and therefore didn't overly see her as a pet, but as a potential companion. Just someone to keep him company.

And the way she looked at the leashes confirmed his thoughts. Deep down, no matter what race she was, she was still a girl.

While she looked at the leashes, he paid for her, which seemed kind of odd to him. Paying for a girl. It was kind of like paying for a prostitute, but he wasn't taking her home for sex and then letting her go. The price was also quite ridiculous. If all pets from this shop were like this, then...well that kind of money could solve world hunger for Christ's sake! People really were greedy. He was no better; he would rather spend his money on her than take it to the homeless shelter. There was no difference between him and the shop keepers at the Emporium. Sad but true.

“Pick the one you like the most. If you want, pick two, or three. I'll pay for them if I need to.” This was the first time he had paid for something for a girl in quite some time. First time he had really splurged on anything since his tavern became so successful. He kind of liked it.

Quinn didn’t waist any time in exiting the shoppe giving one good yank to Blue’s collar as he headed for the door. He didn’t figure the yank was enough to set off the collar but if it was he didn’t really care at this point. His mind was already working on other things, and a destination was already preset.

Once outside he looked around for a moment surveying the people and vehicles out and about their normal activities. ”I assume you can take a human form, being an assassin you would have to I think,” he said taking a right and heading down the street by way of the sidewalk. ”There is a clothing store not too far. You’ll pick something socially appropriate there.”

He didn’t pay attention to the people on the sidewalk or were on the sidewalk. They grew paler once they noticed the pair and made detours to avoid them. It didn’t matter much, if anything it helped since he didn’t have to push by anyone. The store itself looked somewhat dark almost gothic but with a sort of cute touch to it, like some unusually giddy, girl tried her hand at goth and just came across weird. The name ‘Artistic Renditions’ was probably the most promising part of the exterior.

The inside matched the outside but in a way that made it pleasing to look at. The looked like it had everything. Every style of clothing had it’s own section with appropriate labels above each section. Quinn was pleased that is still held fast to the odd look and excellent selection, in fact, this was where he had gotten his own attire, excluding the scarf. ”Dogs aren’t allowed in the store, sir?” a Goth looking clerk stated walking up to them. The only indication that she worked there was the fact that she wore a name tag. She was heavily tattooed except her face which was covered in piercings.

”She’s not a dog, she’s my pet and needs proper attire. She will chose clothes and I want them fit size.” Quinn didn’t beat around the bush or soften his words at all. He wasn’t overly rude just a little pushy. He then looked down at Blue and narrowed the only thing visible through his scarf, his eyes. ”Don’t run,” he said letting go of her leash so she could browse. He was expecting her to run.

Ophelia couldn’t get Syn top notch shoes, oh no, she had to find him shoes that would be enduring enough for his feet and stable enough just in case they had to take off running. Snatching off some pretty looking brown shoes, she quick stepped her way back to the men’s dressing room… and slowing when she got close enough to see Syn. Oh man… He was pretty, well, prettier now that all that flesh was covered up. And what was that cute pinkness on his face? She smiled as she came closer, putting the shoes down at his feet. “Would you look at you?” She mused, tapping her finger on her chin with a playful look on her face. “See? I knew you’d look so nice when all that skin was hidden away. Makes a clever mind wonder what’s underneath, see? But that’s not what I’m lookin’ at…” She slowly circled around him. “Uhhh-huh… You dress well, nice androgynous bod for clothes. Fashion designers would go nuts over you! But that’s obvious, that’s not new! But I know what is~” She stepped in front of him and lightly stroked one of his cheeks with the tip of her orange finger with a goofy grin. “This is! You so kewt when you blush, Syn~!” She hadn’t a clue how old he was, she hadn’t thought about it, the question of his age that is.

Besides, it wasn’t her turn for the game.

“You put your feet in that, now. We got places to go and quickly!” After a few quick seconds of Syn doing what she said, she hooked her arm around his waist and tugged him along to the cash register. “Hey there! I wanna buy these clothes.” She said, gesturing at the clothes Syn was wearing.

                      “Uh..! B-but the clothes---”

“Hey! The tags are still on there, so you can just ring up the prices! What’s the big deal?”

“W-well… Does he still have his old clothes?”

“What the hell kinda question is that to ask? We come in here for new clothes, what we gonna do with old---” Ophelia’s head tilted at Syn, giving him a very quick once over. “You didn’t throw away those pretty metal things, did you?” ACK! That jewelry coulda been hella tasty! Oh well, Syn wasn’t thinkin’ and he didn’t know much about her, but still! “Okay, okay… You ring him up, I’ll go get those rags he left behind. And you better be done by time I get back!” And off she darted, once again.

“There’s no running in the--! Oh, forget it.” The male cashier looked for the price tags that he could visibly see and mentally knew the rest he couldn’t see. “She’s a lively one, that one… Is she your walker?” He’s been around long enough to know that masters with enough money could rent out a “walker” that were basically the nannies of “pets”. She looked far too young to be this adult looking pet’s master. Then again, it wouldn’t surprise him if she was. Only people with money would come in here anyway. “I can see by your collars that you’re a pleasure pet. And she looks a bit too young to be havin’ something like you breaking her back out.” Yes, he was a cashier, and he was also vulgar.

“I’m back!” Ophelia had Syn’s rags in one hand and his jewelry in another. “You ring everything up?”

                      “It’s pricey---”

Ophelia put her plastic money on the counter. “Just hurry up and bill me, please!” The cashier shrugged his shoulders and rung her up, asking her to sign her name on the electronic thing-a-jig, which she did. However, as soon as her pen hit the screen, a shriek of horror rang through the store. ‘They found her…’ She thought grimly, keeping her smile on her face as she signed her name. “Receipt please!” The cashier, however, rudely ignored her and went over to where all the commotion was. Jerk! Oh well, when you had to do something… Snatching the receipt out of the machine and snatching up her card, she rushed Syn out the store, thanking the gods that the streets were now more crowded. Because it was past noon and the Arena spectators were getting ready to buy their seats and place their bets.

By that time, herself and Syn would be long gone.

“Come on now, we gotta blend into the crowd!” Which meant she had to take a hold of his leash again… got dammit. Hesitantly, she did pick it out of Syn’s hands, but instead of tugging him along she hooked her arm around his waist and hastened her step to continue their journey to the bus stop. “Okay Syn, remember we’re still playing that game! Now it’s your turn, so ask away!”

Chi-Chi

Chi-Chi laughed softly when he said something about her “spice”. Usually, that same “spice” got her into LOADS of trouble, but since it seemed Daren liked the spicy sorts, then this was gonna get fun. ‘Specially when he said he was a vampire, that was definitely a first. A vampire in the day..? Then again, there were those special devices she heard about from a “source” outside the emporium that enabled them to be in the sunlight for a certain amount of time. Didn’t mean they still wouldn’t get sick from being under the sun for too long, the creators of said device were trying to work out the kinks. When the attendant ran off and her hands were unraveled, she leaned against her cage with her hands hanging over the sides, her tail swaying casually. “Just know Daren that my services do extend a little farther from what my collars say.” She looked at Daren out the corner of her eye with a light smirk. “I can give you the freshest milk as long as you feed me right, straight from the bud if that’s how you roll, chico.” Huerto (and many before him) enjoyed to get their milk fresh and warm from Chi-Chi’s breasts , and she didn’t mind. It was like nursing grown-ups, and boundaries were set because some tried to change her collars to “pleasure pet”, which she heavily reminded them that she wasn’t a pleasure pet in the slightest.

When said attendant came back with the key, she backed up as he unlocked her cage and then the metal chains from around her feet and the annoying one around her middle. She rotated her ankles one after the other before she stepped out of her cage with a pleasant stretching of her spine and a smile on her maw. “Ahhh! Wonderful, simply wonderful! *¡Nunca pensé eso que se iba que el lugar sentiría tan bueno!” That was habit that would never break, her casual slipping between Spanish and English. Then the attendant snapped a leash on her middle collar, earning him a dark glare from her crimson eyes, in which he timidly handed Daren the end of the leash. “Feh… Figures.” Oh well, it was to be expected after all. She looked up to Daren with her hand on her hip. “Where we goin’ now, *amo Daren?”

Luna growled as Quinn Tugged the leash. The tug did not do much, except make her uncomfortable. But she was stubborn and her eyes narrowed in disgust. Sitting down on her haunches she waited till she felt the leash pull. Lowering her massive head she drew back her lips and showed her porcelain canines. Her muzzle bunched and she lowered her ears some.

‘We need to get something straight.” she said her voice a deep rumble in her throat. ‘I don’t take orders very well.” she snarled muzzle showing more of her deadly teeth. ‘You don’t need to be a b*****d and show who is the boss by tugging on the leash when I have shown you no resistance.” she said eyes dangerously cold. ‘Next time you pull on the leash like an a*****e I’ll rip you a few more breathing holes, and if I feel nice I might let you live shock collar or no shock collar.” Her lips were quivering as snarls resonated dangerously around her.

Obviously Quinn chose the female for a reason, and he would have to understand that Blue was an alphess, and she would not become a submissive servant to him.

Barking orders at Blue like she was stupid pissed her off. The collar crackled around her in threat but simmered down as the growling ceased. ‘Human-ish.” she added following at his side with ease. Her nails clicked against the cement as her paws moved almost listlessly, barely audible.

As they stepped into the store and the sales associate called her a dog her anger spiked once more. Lowering her head she showed teeth. Her muscles tensed fur spiking as her ears lowered in hatred.

‘You must be a human.” The alphess snarled, maw quivering in anger. ‘If you are a supernatural you are the stupidest supernatural I have come across.” The wolf snarled. Her voice mentally echoing around the employees and the guests. ‘Don’t you ever compare me to a dog.” her voice rose. ‘Dogs are simple minded creatures tamed by stupid humans. I am a wolf, insult me again and I will tear out your throat before you can even scream or cry for help.”

The sales clerk swallowed saliva the fear rose off her in waves. Blue almost wanted her to run, give her an excuse to kill something. Instincts could cover her kill. She nodded swallowing more bile. ‘I am sorry for the insult…” she said trying not to wet herself.

Blue watched as the leash fell and did not even bother to think of running. ‘As if.” she said eyeing him.

The wolf suddenly became a woman, well human-ish. Beautiful long black hair fell over a back adorned with ornate filigree markings, the markings themselves were intricate, complicated and outlined with the same beautiful hue that her eyes were. They curved around the bottom of her breasts. Two wolf ears stood tall upon her head and two beautiful well taken wolf tails came down from her spine. Her wolf eyes set upon Quinn as the five foot three wonder turned and glared at him.

She knew she was naked, and did not seem to care as she turned to browse the clothes rack, going first to pick out a few pairs of expensive undergarments. Choosing a couple of pairs she went to the clothes. She wanted something simple and easy to move in.

Picking a tight fitted shirt that hugged her breasts and sat softly on her hips, she chose a pair of black board shorts to match. Her undergarments kept her breasts pulled up and tight to her chest, and she picked a simple pair of bikini underwear. Tying her hair back into a high ponytail she stretched her fingers feeling the almost strange sensation of being a youkai again. The shorts were tailored to let her twin tails move freely.

Turning she looked back at Quinn, cold eyes shifted to the sales associate.

Xander opened his maw to run his tongue over Lune’s cheek, gently, not moving to quickly as to spook her. His ears were forward and his cool nose touched her skin. He backed up a little bit tail swaying as he turned splicing his toes, feeling the soft under his padded feet. His maw lifted and he scented the air, feeling the cool air linger around him. The gentle wind moved his fur, and he took a few steps forwards. He looked back at her and opened his maw tongue lolling over his canines as he broke into a run.

He would go as far forward as he could exploring the grounds and then return toward her.

He could not explain the feelings that coursed through his veins as he ran, covering ground in shorter time then it might take a human.

He returned a little bit earlier, instead he lied by the doors to the home and lounged in the sunlight. Guarding the house as it were.
