Kit looked at the girl's arm. It was a pretty bad scratch, probably too bad to even be called a scratch. It was more like a gash. "It hurts more because pieces of rock are inside the wound. This may sting, but it will hurt less afterward." Kit held her palm out towards Petra's arm. Almost like a magnet, the rocks from inside worked their way out of the wound and just floated there until they had all come out. Some were so small, they were almost invisible to the human eye. Kit let the small pieces of rock fall to the ground below. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" She had only quickly checked over the girl, looking for cuts. But she hadn't looked for sprains or any broken bones.
At the comment about her weakness, Kit's expression softened. "You may seem weak, but I can see if your eyes that your heart is strong."
